12/19/2017 - 9:15am That's what I saw

I saw the same thing and definitely mean it as a positive.  Great body control and catches everything softly with his hands.

12/14/2017 - 11:04am Agreed

This has been my experience as well

11/04/2017 - 8:52pm Kareem Walker

I saw him at the Jug on Sunday afternoon in a boot walking with a significant limp fwiw

10/19/2017 - 2:30pm B/R Video

At 1:54 you see O'Korn leave the pocket with a wide open TE running down the seam.  Even as he scrambles to his right, we have wide open players on the goalline to that side of the field.  However, he's locked on to Hill underneath and rifles it in to him.  I don't think he's going to magically start moving on to 2nd and 3rd reads so keeping the routes/options to a minimum seems to make sense.  However, we can probably expect to see 8 in the box pretty consistently.

You must have not read the article you linked to. Sam Ponder was mistaken. Big Cat didn’t write that blog and the editor’s note was written by Dave Portnoy.

09/21/2017 - 8:21am Alignment Concerns

I posted something similar after re-watching Cincinnatti but on may of our plays on defense, we were again aligned in such a manner that we were at a numbers disadvantage and giving away free yards.

On Cincy's biggest gain on the ground, they ran a sprint option to the weak side.  Instead of releasing and blocking our linebacker, their tackle blocks down leaving McCray free. McCray takes a couple of false steps and still gets beat outside despite being playside and unblocked.  It the tackle blocks that play as it's traditionally blocked and gets a helmet on McCray, the FS is the only person who could be expected to make that tackle.  The problem is that he's lined up 15 yards deep.

Against Air Force, we see a similar issue where on many plays we are outnumbered by alignment.  If everyone on both sides does their jobs, we lose.

I'm not sure whether this is an inherent sacrifice you make when running a 3-3-5 or whether Don Brown is minimizing the playbook and ajustments to offensive formations early in the year but it seems like something to keep an eye on as we move on to the meat of our schedule.

09/11/2017 - 12:18pm Scheme Issue/Question

I'm interested to see if this is mentioned in the UFR but on may of our plays on defense, we were aligned in such a manner where we were at a numbers disadvantage and giving away yards.

At 3:50 in the highlights (Thanks WD) Cincy options our end.

I saw this alignment over and over and CIncy was setting yards on fire by not taking advantage.  If it's not addressed in the UFR, I'll probably repost this and see if any of the boards coach-types have an answer as these highights have already been pushed to the second page of the board.

09/07/2017 - 12:48pm Could this be cooked in the oven?

Could this be cooked in an oven following the same recipe or would I need to start it in a pan before baking?  Temperature control in my grill is pretty difficult so I'm tempted to play it safe and cook this in my oven.

07/26/2017 - 2:52pm Thanks for looking into it

Thanks for looking into it.  I'm actually getting the milk shirt in a toddler as well.  Now I guess the real question is whether my toddler wearing a "Win with character. Win with cruelty" shirt is appropriate.

Any chance for a "Cue The Muppets" in a toddler size?

09/15/2016 - 5:08pm I agree re: Peppers. I don't

I agree re: Peppers. I don't think he has been that successful on his stunts off the edge. I would prefer to see him over the slot with McCray coming off the edge. With his size, I don't think he gets washed out as easily.

09/12/2016 - 1:38pm I think Brian was suggesting

I think that Brian was suggesting that Smith cut to the right off of Asiasi once the LB committed to fill.  That would run away from Poggi and looked wide open for at least 5-10 yards.

08/26/2016 - 1:06pm Question

How did you paint the M?  Did you buy a stencil? Freehand it and tape it off?  Just asking because it looks really good and I'm thinking about trying something similar.

07/13/2016 - 1:19pm Meant to respond to Hillsdale's post above

This was a response to Hillsdale's post comparing Kingston Davis to BJ Askew

07/13/2016 - 1:18pm I like that comparison

Askew was a little taller and leaner, but kidn of fit that rb/fb hybrid role.  He came in at 6"3" 210 lbs but finished at 6'3" 233 lbs as a senior.  So a little taller and lighter than Kingston Davis likely is right now.

JR Smith shot 40% from 3 on the year, Kyrie shot 47% from 3 in the playoffs and Love shot 42% from 3 in the playoffs.

04/19/2016 - 2:52pm Onward State Had A "2016 Best Penn State Thing" Bracket

I think it is referencing a Penn State blog's "2016 Best Penn State Thing" bracket, which was obviously won by Joe Paterno.  I saw Brian retweet Anthony Wright making fun of it today.

04/12/2016 - 10:32am 100% Agree About Sportscenter

It's total garbage.  As a habit, I've turned Sportscenter on almost every morning for probably the last 20 years and it's come to the point where I can't take it anymore.  I want to see highlights and scores of the games I missed, not some irrelevant "_______ of the day" clip.  It's been slowly moving away from highlights in favor of TMZesque reporting/gossip for the past few years, but it's now hit a new low.

11/24/2015 - 2:00pm Got it

My bias must be showing.  I can't really tell the color of the uniforms in the video.

11/19/2015 - 2:32pm Who Are His Top Ten Safeties?

I'm no longer an Insider but I'd be interested to see who his top 10 safeties are.  Outside of Wilson and OSU's Bell, I can't think of any B1G safety prospects.

02/06/2015 - 6:32pm Absolutely Terrible Hire

You have Annese, an offensive innovator who has been successful at every stop, just down the road and instead you hire a career special team's coach?  I don't really undertand the thinking behind that one.

He was 30-4 at GRCC and now has Ferris State on its longest winning streak in decades. This year they're averaging 51 points a game while giving up only 15.

I'm not saying that we should look at a division II head coach, but if we did, I'd say he would be the better option.
