My kid is in school there....alas not a UM fan...grew up in Seattle.

1. DevinG footwork drill: get that accuracy up so he can hit the new Funchslot
2. Non Gallon emphasis...make JGallon the second or third read for a bit, and get Devin out of lock on mode.
3. Throw the ball away drills: something to give him muscle memory on throwing the ball away when outside the hashes

I don't think anybody thinks we can, over the breadth of our recruiting, match teams that have few constraints academically (lower admission standards, no JC, etc.).  Nor do we oversign, or purge surprise low performers.

So it's always been about getting more out of what we have, and hopefully it always will be.  Occasionally things will come together for an incredible run.  

I'm ok with that.

If you want more consistent national championship DNA, find a pro team to couple with beloved Michigan.

I would love your opinion on the difference between the team in the opening few weeks, vs. what Nebraska, Iowa and OSU are likely to face.   Here are my thoughts:

• Early team: Obviously, no Frank Clark; hobbling RoyR; Fitz 1/2 game; Black, Roh at new positions; Kalis w/o game experience; PeeWee, Darboh, Chesson, AJW, Bolden pretty raw
• Late team:  peaking (hopefully healthy) Denard; some OL seasoning; LB depth; etc.
