No, it’s not a mistake. The PAC-12 does not have Indoor Track, so PAC-12 schools participate in the MPSF meet during conference championship week while being Independent and able to participate in the NCAA a few weeks later

The number of times an American football player fakes an injury towards the end of a game to get a break or slow down a team driving down the field is almost on a gamely basis; or a basketball player faking getting fouled or brutally embellishing being fouled is almost on a possession basis. This notion that European football players are the only “floppers” in sports is ridiculous.
People need to get off their American high horse and realize that European football is the most popular sport in the world. I enjoy it myself because it is an art, and it is an uninterrupted 120 minutes of gameplay versus hundreds of commercials each game in basketball/football and the end of basketball games taking 15 minutes to complete 30 seconds of gameplay.
Hobb’s training partner, Nick Willis (UM alum and 2x Olympic medalist in the 1500), historically finds himself getting boxed and lucky to advance to next round or place well in championship events (Olympics or World Champs), but could have maybe increased a medal spot or 2 with better positioning.
There are 12.6 total scholarships for men’s track and cross country combined (18 for women). The bulk of those scholarship are partial, and the vast majority of athletes on these 2 teams are walk-ons. The ~65 student-athletes on the men’s and women’s cross country teams likely make up less than 25% of those 30.6 scholarships and are being punished by being unable to participate at their Big Ten meet for a separate team’s athlete being irresponsible and not quarantining after traveling back from a COVID hotbed of the world. I think it’s safe to assume that the cross country athletes (this petition was started by one), are not entitled and getting screwed out of this opportunity.
Seeing lots of comments about having lots of buffering in the past... I currently use Sling TV, and there is no buffering when loading the channels. Only thing is that the compression and uncompression of video feeds causes a slight delay in how “live” it is: usually a half play or play behind in football. And adding BTN in August, so that knocks out the only other issue with it

At this point, the only way to bring parity to college football is for the NCAA to lower the number of scholarships from 85. It would prevent teams like Alabama from having all of the best talent and would disperse it throughout other teams.
Did you go to any games in 2014? No chance our half-filled Stadium was over 100,000. Saying we’ve had two hundred seventy something or whatever home games over 100,000 is uttery ridiculous
2015 MSU and 2016 OSU caused me to sit in a dark room with no light for hours. The 2016 Orange Bowl was one of the saddest games to be at, we played terribly and somehow almost won; to go from hopelessness to jubilee in the fourth quarter only to have it torn away on the ensuing kickoff left me frustrated

Jager is from Illinois, which run the 3 mile, which is almost 200 meters shorter than the 5k. Usually, you add about 30 seconds to account for the difference
I don't know why people care so much about who sponsors Michigan. I don't think it matters who sponsors us, the sponsor isn't going to deter people from attending the sporting events. The only thing that matters is how the student-athletes feel about the gear they receive to compete and train in.

I was 10 years old and at the game. One of the most Michigan games that I have been to. An incredible atmosphere and pregame experience
