I was at the Wisconsin game in 2021. When the team joined in during Jump Around, I knew there was a change in their attitude and the culture of our program. Of course, the Osu game that year made me even more a believer, but this is where it began for me.
I read somewhere last week that JJ was near tears at halftime of the Maryland game. He's a tough guy. I also heard that he was better, but not close to 100% for the osu game. I'm assuming the month we had off before the Rose Bowl were good to him and that he's as healthy as he's been in awhile. We're lucky to have him and I'm hoping he has the game of his life tomorrow night - and still decides to come back next year.
Unfortunately, NIL is going to be terrible and hurt us for the next two years. I spoke to someone who attended an informational meeting on NIL. Seems like the portal may be brutal for us on Tuesday (1/9). Our players are being offered an obscene amount of money to transfer. I’m hoping our culture and love for Michigan will keep more than we lose. It should even out in two years once the lawsuits get settled and there’s some kind of balance in football. College football is a mess!
Fortunately, we have had the best run over the last 3 years and we have much to celebrate! One more game to go.

They are in Section 4, row 32. They are currently listed on stubhub, but I'd way rather make sure they go to an M fan and save the fees for both of us.
I don’t hate Twill, but I think his game would be better in a lessor league. He also made little progress in his three years at M, so maybe it’s time to move on.
I’ve been looking forward to Christian Anderson playing for us since he committed. He’s a winner! And an incredible basketball player! He is not playing games with recruiting - I’m just hoping we can keep him!!

I agree. I have heard the Jett is leaning toward coming back and Kobe toward the NBA. I still think Kobe would benefit from another year at M (or maybe because I really want him back and think it’ll be a huge loss if he doesn’t.)

HOW this is happening will ruin his legacy. I'm still trying to wrap my head around him flying to MN on National Signing Day. Even though most of the class signed in December, it is absolutely the worst optics! Whether he ends up in MN or Miami (which I still think could happen and was the plan all along), I think this needs to end asap.
I've also researched a ton for future HCs. I am not in the Gattis corner. We only thought he was great starting in the Maryland game this year. He did prove himself but it took a LONG time. I think he's an amazing person and is so well spoken/handles himself really well, but not ready for the big time. I would rather give that chance to Mike Hart but think he's not quite ready. I would go for Matt Campbell. He may have had a bad year, but so did JH last year and look what happened. I think we could get him and he wouldn't be looking for a new job every year. This is a destination for him. He's young, has great coaching experience and knows how to be a college head coach. If we can get Aranda, great. Those are the only two I would want/think we could get outside of the group we currently have on staff.
Most of all, I want a coach that is all in and gives everything to the program. GO BLUE!
Schlissel was the WORST! He never understood the culture at M. He is a cocky, over confident man who never listened to anyone. And, he handled the Covid situation worse than any other head of a university (plus he's an MD.) Good riddance! The University will be in a much better place without him. (And maybe now we can get a more understanding president for our NIL and transfers!)
There are only about 500 tickets available through the Development office and most people that applied for them will not get them. As of two days ago, there were at least 3,600 requests. Basically, the largest donors will get the tickets.
Ugh! Got rejected for seats. If anyone has 2-4 tickets for a reasonable price, let me know. I’m a 30 plus year season ticket holder and I promise to cheer on the BLUE for the whole game! GO BLUE!

My daughter is graduating and I guarantee this is NOT from the outcome of the survey sent in December. Not one of her friends or anyone she knows said they wanted a virtual graduation.
There is a petition going around to reverse this decision, plus numerous phone calls and emails have been sent to Schlissel today.
The Big House is the perfect place for a socially distanced, in person graduation, even if was for only the students and no guests. (Or maybe 2 guests.) Those that don’t feel comfortable could decide whether or not to attend and it could be live streamed.
Such a cop out for such a great university. Very disappointing!

I think Shea would benefit from another year playing college football. Two years under Harbaugh would be beneficial for him (and us!)
That being said, if he stays, I think McCaffrey may tranfer. I’ve heard rumblings about this and it makes sense. He is ready to start.
So, my hope is that Shea makes huge strides and is outstanding, leading Michigan to an incredible finish - especially over Osu. And then goes to the nfl. I’m a big McCaffrey fan and want him to stay!
Wouldn’t it be kind of “fun” if Urban gets through this and comes back - and then gets caught doing his many other slimy, crooked deals? It would only prove how osu is only about football wins.
How is it that 1). He kept Smith on his staff in 2015 - and only fired him when the media found out about the abuse?!? And 2). He flat out lied last week to all the coaches and media, etc. at the Big Ten meetings?!?

As for who is coming back. I think Matthews is definitely gone and Iggy too. I heard he is struggling academically and wants to go pro - or to Europe.

Definitely my favorite moment ever in watching the Emmy's! Darren Criss was in Glee for years and I heard he was great in this role.
Michigan Theater department is incredible. They have the second highest number of alum (after NYU) on Broadway.
