Hopefully the biggest difference is that rudocks interception numbers are just high at the beginning of the season and improve over the course of the year. Gardner always started really well and ended up racking the interceptions up during big ten play. I think that's the difference we are looking at.
I'm not even interested in recruiting anymore. It's an amazing feeling to know whatever high school kids want to come to Michigan will get the best coaching in the nfl or college. The athletes will come. The teachers will teach. We are Michigan. Whoever wants to play for harbaugh I'm confident he can show them the way to the nfl. It's a great feeling!!!
Sorry this is out of left field but where is the best place to watch the game this Saturday in Phoenix. I've heard of a couple places that are very Michigan friendly. Just looking for some advice???
Why show another team anything after we have the win wrapped up. The less to game plan the better. Giving teams only one half of offense to scout the last three games.
USC going down. And Oklahoma looks like they are confused. Two more teams going down in front of us and a defeat of NW. Puts us in top 15 no problem. GO BLUE. Take care of business.
I think playing a spread team plays into our defense strength. It takes bolden off the field. Adds CB and gives peppers the freedom to reek havoc at the extra lb/playmaker role. He's gonna be blitzing a lot I believe.
I also love this. But I can tell you it sure is nice to have a stable of running backs fighting for carries. Wheatley had these running backs hungry. I say make sure we get smith healthy for Michigan state. Our other running backs should have no problem running on our next two opponents.
Rankings to me don't mean anything until late October to early november. Sure if we continue to play like this. Which I think we will. This team looks inspired and they have that winning attitude we've been looking for. The defense alone is just scaring other teams and rivals. I know they are watching. I would much rather be the team that is overlooked. Gives the team that chip on their shoulder. If we continue to play like this. Playoffs are not out of the picture. The schedule is in our favor. Go blue!!
After watching it over. Peppers had found his role. They pretty much used him for as a rushing linebacker all game. He is such a freak athlete that really have them the advantage. They just let him loose. He was always around the ball the whole game. I see this defense as the beginning of something special. They are starting to get a little attitude in them that they just don't want anyone to gain any yards at all. Love it!!!!
From what I have seen on tape. He has all the tools you need to be a great QB. I can't wait for harbaugh to start molding him. Kid has a very high ceiling.
I predict it doesn't matter who the QB is. I expect our defense to put on a show this Saturday. Hoping for atleast 3 turnovers on defense. Less than 150yds total offense.
Wormley is going to start getting a bunch more attention from the offensive lines moving forward. Hopefully Taco and Henry take full advantage of this. We need teams not to be able to focus on just double teaming Wormley. Which is going to start happening.
I remember Carr had some epic meltdowns. It's part of the coaches jobs to work the refs. It's all mind games. And the players tend to respond to the passion of the coach.
The biggest reason I'm excited about this. I don't think with this much publicity Jordan will put nothing but the best product on the field. From head to toe our players will be his priority for the future of jumpman in college football.
I personally loved beating ND with 20+ recruits at every game. All in all I'm for whatever the coach thinks is best for the program. Not to mention most live close enough to attend this big non conference early season match up.
