Rich Rod has pretty much proven he can't win with average to good talent. He has not managed the defense/special teams at all. GOOD COACHES don't let shit like this happen!! We need to clean some fucking house ASAP.
We have no special teams, we have no defense, and we have an offense that is VERY overrated. It shouldn't 4-5 years to get back to being a good football team. We hired Rich Rod to get past the 8-4 type season norm that Lloyd had developed. Right now people are talking about next year and how great 9 wins would be. Just think if we would of hired a pro style coach. We would be looking like Wisconsin right now.
I'm sick of losing to good teams and barely beating bad teams (Purdue, Illinois) I don't know if firing RICH ROD is the answer or not, that is a decision for Dave Brandon to make. I do know that BIG changes will be made in the coaching staff. SOMETHING has to give here guys.
Denard seems to lack "shake and bake" in his running. Denard runs more like a VERY FAST outside receiver then a shifty running back. Is that to say Denard is stiff in the hips? Not at all, but I don't think cutting is his strong point. He seems to hop around and doesn't really plant his feet when he cuts.
I'm glad we are now beating the teams we are supposed to minus Penn State. That is progress, but we need to start beating GOOD teams. Otherwise Rich Rod needs to go.
He was having 200 yard days at the beginning of the season. His rushing has regressed drastically the past couple weeks. He is throwing a bunch on INTS, fumbling, and generally not making very good decisions.

I say give it to the end of the season, but Dave should really consider a coaching change at the end of the year if Rich doesn't get these problems solved. No excuses for our defense being this terrible.
Can we cool it with the Heisman talk? This game clearly showed me that Denard is not Mr. Heisman just yet. This game showed us reality. He is a 6 game starter and it showed today. Tate lead to 4-0 last year and look how that turned out. Denard should of been pulled because I feel Tate wouldn't of threw those picks. The receivers were open but Denard just didn't make the throws. Denard was put in for Tate last year against Iowa after all that Tate accomplished.
MSU's remaining schedule is scary easy. I can honestly see these jackasses playing for the National Championship if they don't pull a SPARTY NO moment.

We should never be okay with 7-5. The only thing that has changed is Michigan has beaten Purdue and Illinois (barely). THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
