Apparently I don't.  I thought I was a stronger lurker, but I tip my hat to you

I have the all time lurker award

Yep. I like to watch

New Offensive Wrinkles

First Time-Long Time

I would prefer the wrinkle where we throw the ball to our team

If you ask questions like this...

you are prepared to do statistical analysis of the answers?

1.  Fiction

2.  Fiction-this one is difficult

3.  Fiction

4.  Fact!

5.  Fiction-Nebraska will be playing the Buckeyes.

Did the thiefs

Use the car as a toliet?  I take it that the San Diego Detectives were not working on this case in shifts-

The Butterfly effect is

a great game to play, but rarely worth the oxygen to play it.  UM could have gone on to win every game since that moment in time, or we could have been given the death penalty for violations.  Or somewhere in between.  Fruitless game.

I wish they would have been charged accurately to start

and then the NCAA could have not have penalized them accurately.

Nice

That is really funny.  Sadly these are the rings a significant  teams should be handing out to NCAA bball or football big time programs.

okay

fair enough.

But,

he could probably change them if he wanted to.

No kidding

Rumor is that Toews has a significant leg injury and Seabrook's foot is broke for the Hawks.  This is off sports radio in Chicago.  The official news has had Sharpe with an upper body injury and Roszival with the same. and Dave Bolland missed almost the enitre first round and was limited against Detroit due to a groin.   Happens to all Teams.  Hawks were better.

What?

I don't know if there are two more disimilar players to compare.

Bielfeldt

I really think you are going to see Bielfeldt back-up McGary a decent amount at the 4. Donnal will RS.  This real interesting situation is that of LeVert.  I personally think he plays as the back-up at the 3 and will play more against offensively motivated (i.e.  good) SG's.  Irvin probably gets less minutes than most people are projecting.  Ultimately-match-ups are going to great dictate the rotation.  What a nice problem to have.  All of these highly talented players to get minutes for.

Sorry

Thought I would also celebrate with my first double post.  Too anxious.

Crazy.

I went from laying on the couch, to sitting on the edge, to doing a nervous stand to, to screaming outside my house.  With 30 seconds left, I would never have imagined that progression.

Exactly

The referees are the one who have created this viscious cycle.  The refs rarely call a charge unless a player has his arms at his side a flops.  No where in the rule book does this state that this position is required by the defensive player to cause a charge.  So a defensive player is forced to either flop or play d.  The refs will not allow both.

Spartan fans

Spartan fans are not going to leave any bar earlier than they have to, especially so early in the day.  Michigan fans had better be more into it on Saturday than we were on Thursday.  I was very underwhelmed by our cheering.

Nice Work Here

Funny.  That is all

That's not really fair.  NW

That's not really fair.  NW was competitive in most games, although there certainly are exceptions.  They lost most of their players to injury for long stretches of the season (Hearn and Swoopshire are the most notable examples).  I guess what they fielded at the end of the year was DIII like, but they still played well.

Totally Agree

Minnesoata Football thought that they were better than Mason's three straight bowl games...and some respectable performances in the Big 10.  Turns out they were not better, and Mason was a good coach.  Of course the counter point to this is that Mason hasn't exactly been rumored for any good jobs.

Let's Keep Some Perspective Here

First time poster, long time reader

Coach B is not incompetent as some are suggesting.  This was definitely a crushing loss and this teams defensive liabilities and defensive rebounding issues are certainly challenges moving forward.  But, let's remember that there are 5 freshman playing significant minutes for this team and this is the  most difficult conference in the country.  PSU had been terrible (they have improved recently quite a bit) and they don't deserve to get to be part of this positive association with the Big 10.  However, UM did win several away games against the middle of the road Big 10 team and were exceptionally close to winning at OSU and Wisconsin.  The Freshman have seemed to hit somewhat of a "wall", especially defensively.  All is not lost here though, match-ups are going to be a key in the tourney and could be favorable.   It does feel that this fan base may have become spoiled and we take these experiences, that quite a few big time programs suffer as Chicken Little moments.  Coach B is a very good, if not great coach and will help this team to get better in the near future and the long term future.  I hope.
