I think it speaks far more clearly than anything else ever could. Any argument that he is a top 20 or even top 50 coach in the country is simply pie-in-the-sky dreaming.
Given your willingness to massage statistics until they are almost meaningless (as with your glossing over Hoke's career 47/50 record) I'm curious if there was any coach in the country you wouldn't have found reason to fall in love with?

Try and travel back in time, even though that style of football was what caused us to lose perpetually to Ohio State in the first place.

Mike Brown treasures loyalty and deference above all else, and wants to think he is special and better than everybody else. I definitely have to disagree here. From the way things have gone down, after Harbaugh said no, it looks like someone else is Plan B, Miles is Plan C, and Hoke is Plan D. I think that Brandon has been stringing Miles along as he attempted to land Plan B. He wanted to keep Miles as a fall-back, so he slow played him...resulting in the bizzarre press-conference we saw today.
I think the fact that we're not willing to draw any firm conclusions about the winged plane going where it does suggests its not really such an "obvious blunder" to be using it during the coaching search.
That sounds like something a coach would say who IS about to leave.
No "I" haven't been contacted...my agent has. And why say something as coy as "Why would I leave, I'm having so much fun here" when you could say "I'm not interested in Michigan, only LSU"
