Theres no comparison Let me start with this: "That plus rednecks are alot more obnoxious when drunk then us civilised midwest folk." Not trying to pull the English teacher card, but you spelled civilized wrong and should have replaced then with than. (This coming from an Arkansas native which you would immediately stereotype as a redneck. "civilised midwest folk" = afraid to be themselves because of what other people will think of them. Good, good stuff. Obviously the two best teams in the Big 10 are Ohio State and Michigan. OSU is going through a little better time than Michigan right now, but they still got embarassed by Florida and LSU in the National Championship. Imagine if they would have had to compete against as high of competition as any SEC team throughout the entire year? Haaaaa
Darren McFadden would have Darren McFadden would have one if people weren't so afraid of a repeat OJ Simpson. After he got in a bar fight and sat down for an interview he had no chance. But he was the best player in college football. His stats were better than Ingrams were this year and don't forget he also shared the back field with another first round pick Felix Jones. If Tim Tebow wasn't so new and fresh and gave everyone of the Heisman voters a broner, D-Mac would have won.
From a Razorback Fan (aka backwoods redneck) I somehow got to this posting after clicking a link I found about Ryan Mallet when I was looking at the second team All-SEC list (he's on there behind a guy named Tim Tebow.) I know im going to get bashed with people wondering why I would even take the time to do this, which is probably what I'm going for because if thats all you can come up with then that means you had no better response. Just wondering how you guys feel now after Mallet having such a successful season in a much more challenging conference? Did you see some of the plays he made this year? Maybe the game where he went into Tebow Territory and if it wasn't for a missed field goal or two he would have gotten the W? I just want to say thanks for being a place where a true backwood redneck (even though we all know he tries to be something way different) would only want to spend/waste one year of his life. Bobby and Ryan along with the nations best combination of receivers, and a crazy amount of good running backs have us looking forward to next season. A season that if we could somehow switch schedules with the Wolverines would end in a National Championship. Good work Michigan. With Tebow graduating you lost the now best QB in the SEC. You can deny it all you want by saying that he can't run but anyone can design an offense around a guy like this. Woo pig.
