06/09/2018 - 6:05pm Rooting for the triple crown…

Rooting for the triple crown.....however, I think Justify will struggle with the distance at Belmont.

Will be nice to be able to see the race today. No mud. No fog/rain!

06/08/2018 - 9:36am If your scenario were true I…

If your scenario were true I believe he’d certainly transfer.

Competition at this level is fierce and unrelenting. And with Jim Harbaugh at the helm we will have a carousel of Uber talented QB’s shuffling in and out of this place. It’s inevitable.

I wouldnt blame  him a bit for trying to get a shot somewhere else. A lot of these kids just need a chance. And if you won’t see the field....where does that chance come from?  I’d be interested to see the stats on the top power 5 teams with pro-style QB’s (especially the ones that don’t start) and where their talent takes them. Where they end up.  Are they better off transferring?  Do they ever get picked up by pro teams and make a name for themselves down the road?

Shane Morris and John O’Korn may tell some of the tale the next couple years but what about Alabama ,USC, etc.  These teams are usually loaded with talent at that position and I can’t recall the last time a backup really made a name for himself  I sort of look back and remember Brady as a guy that was in the edge of leaving and thankfully did not  but he eventually started for us so that’s different!

Thoughts!?

Nice!!  We need at least 5 more years out of JB!

06/02/2018 - 5:38pm McArmPunt

McArmpunt will have a hard time in Ann Arbor this year.

MSU could be our toughest game.

Then Wiscy.

I think we beat the bucs.

06/01/2018 - 12:46pm I can see the hype.

Kid is a baller. They have almost everyone returning. They will continue to evolve. Definitely worries about this game. Maybe more so than even OSU.

In a side note tho...he does run a lot. They will need to keep him healthy. If he gets hurt they may be fucked.

05/30/2018 - 2:30pm Strength

Strength of schedule was #13/14 tho fir garsh sakes.

05/29/2018 - 10:12pm I’m no

I’m no psychic or football expert for that matter but you have got to feel better about our chances this year with our WR’s being a year older, our TE’s being better, the addition of Ed Warinner...and perhaps even a competent QB or three??? I mean c’mon...if our QB can hit a WR in stride...even just show up and resemble a starting Michigan QB of the past...this year could really turn into something great.

05/28/2018 - 9:41pm As

As a chaperone. I went with my son. You could spend a solid week there and still have things left to do.

05/28/2018 - 4:36pm Amen

Amen. Just left Washington DC. Went for a middle school trip and it was the first time I have ever been there. What an amazing trip. We packed a lot of stuff in a short period of time. But the history there...the monuments...the war memorials. I left there absolute amazed and proud to be a part of the best country in the world. Arlington National Cemetery exceeded my expectations. If you have never done a trip to DC I would highly recommend going.

Do your homework before you go...there is a lot to see.

05/24/2018 - 5:53pm Bye.

Bye.

05/22/2018 - 6:09am If

If this is true...

Our coaches need to mold their game planning around our QB’s greatest assets. I don’t care how complicated our offense is...if we have major talent at QB (and all over the field for that matter) and the coaches can’t dumb it down or game plan to amplify those talents...then we have a coaching problem.

I have faith and truly believe we turn the corner as a program this year in overall quality. It may be hard to tell with this brutal schedule, but the depth is now here (except for at tackle maybe) and the off season changes made at Oline (coach) have got to help push us over the mediocrity zone....

05/20/2018 - 4:07pm Pure

PURE. FUCKING. GOLD.

Thank you for that.

05/17/2018 - 8:01am Yea

If he’s that good he’s going to have to stay upright. I have a good feeling about Warrinnnerrrrr tho. I think our run blocking will be better which will open up things in the passing game as well. With a simplified OL game plan this offense slowly gain steam and (hopefully) turn into something SCARY.

05/17/2018 - 6:10am I

I miss pics of his hot WOMAN gyrating on our blog in her bikini ? Wasn’t that her?

Someone please post.

05/06/2018 - 9:40pm If we were neighbors I’d have been there!

That’s good stuff. Those are memories your kids will never forget. I still remember the spring cattle drive to the pasture / milking pen a couple miles down the road. My uncle finally got sick of chasing stray cattle so he bought an old school bus’ tore out the seats, made a ramp and loaded them onto that thing. It’s one of those stories people look at you when you’re telling and just shake their heads. Tails out the window...cow shit down the side of the bus. Somewhere in the family there is a picture to prove it. Classic. Lol.

05/06/2018 - 8:43pm Grew

Grew up in a podunk cow town. Grew up in a family of farmers but by the time I was grown the livestock was sold and the land was leased. It didn’t prevent me from working on farms, bailing hay, pick rocks, pulling weeds and helping neighbors out though. All work that I liked as a kid and would still like as an adult. Parents have horses and various farm animals so I get my fill when I want.

I love dogs but just can’t have them or cats in the house due to family members with pretty bad allergies.

If I had all the money in the world and still had to pick an occupation it would probably be farming. Loved being around it when I was a kid and miss it as an adult.

05/04/2018 - 8:55am .....

Yes young Jedi...and May the 4th be with you....

04/30/2018 - 5:06pm I’ve

I’ve also heard rumors that Big Manchild Joe Milton could’ve been seen as the number two coming out of spring. This rumor came from one of Spaths or Webb’s podcasts...not outta my arse.

Either way I think this is the norm for spring ball. We all love drinking that kool- aid.

We shall see where the cards fall come September. It would be awesome to have some quality depth at QB.................especially after the fucking debacle that position last year.

04/25/2018 - 12:38pm Fuck MSU

All we need is for the tide to turn in this football rivalry and they will become completely irrelevant again. Now let’s make it happen.

04/22/2018 - 6:12am Blue and “yellow”?

Maize n Blue my friend. Maize n blue.....

04/20/2018 - 11:54am Any

Or Any big ten school for that matter. I have nightmares of Troy Smith-like QBs for some reason. Hmmmmm.

04/19/2018 - 4:07pm That’s

That’s football mayn.

04/18/2018 - 1:43pm ^^^

Yes this. A sad reminder of MSU and their life in the gutter....

04/18/2018 - 1:41pm Yea

Yea. And a ‘roided up Rescke at that.

Mork must be hurting at linebacker if he’s thinking about throwing gas on that fire again.

04/15/2018 - 8:21pm Noooooo

Noooooo. This man was a legend. Probably rolling over in his grave as we speak just due to the shear number of snowflakes on the planet.

RIP R. Lee.

You will be missed.

04/15/2018 - 3:14pm Yea

Yea. They’re pretty much the difference in the game the last few years. Their backups are better than our starters. Their QBs are better than our RB’s etc.

04/15/2018 - 8:33am I’ve had my basement get

I’ve had my basement get wet 3 times...all in my first home. Once due to power failure...the next due to sump pump failure. That pump cycled so many times the switch wore out.

Current home has battery backup pump with alarm.

04/14/2018 - 4:37pm Don’t

Don’t forget about that speight fumble on the goal line. Same effin’ game.

04/14/2018 - 4:10pm No.

No. I meant the hot tub I run is an energy HOG. If it’s below freezing for more than a couple days while the power is out....I need a big generator to run that to keep things from freezing... plus all the other stuff in the house. Not to mention....I have high maintenance girls at home that need the AC in the summer. Lol.

I looked at the sizing chart on the Generac website and it recommended 21or 22 kw for my home.

I’m really not looking to buy right now. Thanks for the offer tho...and btw.... I live in central lower Michigan between flint and Saginaw.

04/14/2018 - 2:00pm Tip

Tip the hat to this guy. He’s basically got two full-time jobs. Making the most out of that scholly!

04/14/2018 - 1:58pm I hear ya

I hear ya XtraM and mighty kind of you to offer. I have a couple buddies that are electricians that would install it for virtually nothing. And yes, I could go smaller (14 or 15 kw) and save some money. The hot tub is a pig tho. And if I buy one I’m getting one that runs everything. One of these years I will take the extra cash and do it. In the meantime I will deal with the minor inconvenience every other year of running my generator.

I have a friend that just bought one at Home Depot. Opened a 24 months same as cash credit card. Paid it off in two years. So that would be an option too if someone had to have one now but didn’t have the cash.

I just saw an add on tv too that they are offering a free small generator with the purchase off the standby. Looked like a 1kw quiet run type for tailgating at M games ;).

I guarantee one thing as well...if the power goes out for a day there won’t be a single generator available within 100 miles of here as they will be sold out!!

04/14/2018 - 10:52am My

My parents just dropped the cash on one a couple years ago. You are looking at $6-8 to buy and install a 18-21 Kw generac standby generator. For them I think it was a great buy. They are getting too old to dink around with generators and extension cords during ice storms at 2 in the morning.

I’ve put a lot of thought into it. In my old house the power went out all the time. I had a gen-tran panel in the basement with a large wire running to the garage that I plugged my portable generator into (backfed with transfer switch). I pretty much would run everything I “needed” in the house with that 5500-8500 watt generator. All the lights. Furnace. Refrigerators, freezers. Coffee maker...lol. You could have a similar set up put in for a few hundred dollars. The downfall is “feeding” the generator with fuel every 6-8 hours. Also, it obviously doesn’t automatically start up if the power does go out and you are away from home. If your sump pumps runs a lot and you have a nice finished basement it may be worth some serious thought!!

My current situation...we live in a newer neighborhood. All power comes in underground. They just revamped the local grid with new larger poles and wires. Trimmed back all the trees. My power has literally been off once here in the few years we’ve been here and it was for a few hours. I Just can’t get myself to take the $6k-8k plunge on something that may turn on once every 700 days.

So I spent a few hundred and wired this house to backfeed as well. If I refinish my basement or as I get older...I think it’s worth the money to do it right and get the standby if you can afford it.

04/14/2018 - 10:32am Sounds like

Sounds like my kind of party!! On a side note we rode up there this winter... Chatham, Rock River, Au Train and Marquette. The trails were great! I Love stopping and visiting the local establishments on our snowmobiling trips to the UP. Beautiful country!

04/14/2018 - 10:28am That

That sounds like an even better idea!!

04/14/2018 - 9:22am They

The deer only know to do that there because there is probably a deer crossing sign there. DUH.

Call the county and complain. They can move the sign down the road...voila! No more deer crossing.

04/14/2018 - 7:49am Not

Not if your wings are covered with ice!!

04/13/2018 - 10:19am In

In for some bangin’....

04/12/2018 - 8:31pm Wonder

Wonder how long soccer girl lasts in that long distance relationship!? Although she looked like a keeper....

04/11/2018 - 9:55pm Lots of options

Mackinac Island would be great for the kid, wife, and you. There are even hotels with pools/water parks (I know u said 11 month old but u could stick to the kiddie pools).

Last year we did paradise, Tahquamenon, Munising, and Marquette. Make sure to stop at the beaches along superior on the way up to Marquette (specifically around Au Train where the river dumps into the lake).

I loved Marquette. Lots of nice restaurants and breweries. Love the history there too. All the old ore docks and giant freighters.

It probably depends on how busy you want to be quite honestly. How much driving you want to do. It can get tiresome with a little one....

Good luck!!

One More!! Our families favorite of all was the shipwreck museum at whitefish point. It only takes a few hours but is really interesting!!

04/09/2018 - 8:21pm Ole

Ole Miss can suck a bag of dicks....

04/09/2018 - 4:57pm Yep

Yep. And I bet you could find a nice 1100 sq. Ft house for $685,000 too.

04/08/2018 - 9:20am Yes

Yes. Harbaugh May not have Don Browns Battle Cry but make no mistake about it...he is obsessed with football. He lives it and there is no one better for our program right here and now. Would it help to have a don brown type of guy on offense to do pregame speeches...maybe. But in the meantime...I have no doubt that Harbaugh will do what it takes to be the best. To win. Without sacrificing his moral compass that is.

04/08/2018 - 9:17am I’m

I’m sure he’s the kid that set the curve in all the math and engineering classes.... was probably getting dropped off at North campus.
