Agreed. I had a chance to explore North Cascades last September while on a last-minute trip to Seattle. Surprisingly accessible via 20 and worth every second of the view. Also paired that with a sunset cruise along Chuckanut Drive (beautiful views of the bay) to grab dinner in Bellingham. Next time I'm in PNW, I'm heading back.

I pray the alternate jersey is just a white top, maize pants, and that's it. And that they keep it all year.

I think even if we lose to Florida, we've got plenty of time to gain momentum heading into the teeth of our schedule. That's the only one I'm really okay with losing, if any.

Also for OP: If you're into "art", hit up Wynwood. It's trendy graffiti meets meets a little bit of high-end retail.

I bought a few adidas shirts for cheap back in July. Interestingly enough, my yellow Michigan lacrosse shirt is perfectly cut, very comfortable, and now my go-to shirt for lifting slightly heavy things. And it was $5, so I already feel like I won.

Hoping for a few Nike shirts that are similar. /following

I had low expectations for Sklar. I can't imagine the level of difficulty to MC an event with so many moving pieces and a large digital audience. I would've loved to hear more from Harbaugh, but Sklar did well.

The event was unique and fun. Tough to poke holes in something that nobody's doing.

I'm in the camp to retain him I'm in the camp to retain him for another year. My biggest concern, however, is the Lions ability to not finish games after jumping out to big leads. They need to figure that out in 2016. And as others have said, a great GM hire is the priority.

Relaxed environment. 200+ beers... and all comped if you're gambling. It's all video machines, making it easy to play slowly (as I did while waiting to catch a shuttle to the airport). All in all, a great opportunity to try new beers while losing a negligible amount of money.

Enjoy Vegas!

One man's opinion

Played UF last weekend (Palm Beach Atlantic), noticed a few things:

1. Florida doesn't slide to the ball well.  For example, I had a 8 yard time-and-room and turned it into a dip and dunk on the crease because their wasn't any help defense.  This was the read we got from our scouting report from their Miami game as well.

2. We locked Billy Buch and then threw a zone at them and it worked pretty well.  Buch is the catalyst for their offense and after we made a personnel change we neutralized him pretty well.  I will be interested to see how Michigan defends him; UF has the ability to spread the points around with Casselli, Salo, etc, but he is definitely the initiator.

3. Our FOGO was about 65% against their faceoff men, so the ability for Michigan to control possession is there.  Also, their wing play was not great.

4. Young and fast would be a decent way to describe their team.  I was pretty surprised how mistake-prone their offense was.  Florida threw away lots of passes, and like I said, we utilized a zone with defensive pressure that was less-than-normal.

Michigan/Florida should be a great game regardless.  I think the Gators are getting there as a program, but I don't see the killer instinct nor the standard of excellence that I do when I see Michigan.
