11/20/2015 - 10:25am Bang!

Go Blue! Beat Penn State!

11/18/2015 - 11:10am Of note . . .

Chad also has 2 brothers, CJ and Tommy.

From the "Pray for Chad Carr" FB page, Tammi wrote "The older boys know . . . and they are doing ok. We think CJ has really understood for a while but the realization for Tommy has been more difficult. Please pray hard for both of them. Pray for them to feel peace and have amazing strength, they are such wonderful boys."

As a nurse, I always try to recognize all family members in difficult situations, especially young siblings. They struggle to understand everything, and need support too. I'm not certain, but think it may be nice to send a card of encouragement to Chad's brothers. That we are thinking of them and admire their strength as big brothers. Something positive. Hope this is helpful.

11/14/2015 - 3:54pm Merry Christmas Chad!

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers <3

11/13/2015 - 1:37pm Go Gabe!

Will definitely check in on CBS to watch Gabe fire that cannon! Many times!

Thank you for sharing Gabe's story. After a Google search, I found the website and it seems to provide great infomation for those of us wanting to learn more.

Will look forward to your diary post. Also, I'm now following Gabe's Facebook page, and will be sure to check in often for updates. I wish your family and Gabe all the best in Minnesota, as others posted he will be in VERY capable hands there.

I can't seem to post the clip, so here's the quote:

“Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!”

02/22/2015 - 12:16pm Still get chills thinking

Still get chills thinking about that game. It's the best upset I've ever witnessed. I did not know the outcome prior to watching, we lived in rural Michigan and lucky to get a TV channel at all.

One of the few games I will always remember where I was, and who I was with. The tension between the US and the Soviet Union was high, and the Olympics were the one place you could witness country vs country in a controlled environment. Great, great memories. Thanks for this post.

Edit: to write 'Soviet Union'

02/22/2015 - 11:46am Thanks for posting this.

01/18/2015 - 4:29pm Stress fracture info

It was reported last year that Caris had surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot. I'm only guessing, from the report, that this is a similar injury.

I would post a link in here, but I may not have enough points to post links. Sorry.

Google search for  Stress Fractures of the Foot and Ankle. The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) provides a nice overview.

01/18/2015 - 3:11pm Baby on the way?

I look forward to the 'Hello' post for your new family member! Congratulations Brian!

Much respect to you and the staff here. MGoBlog is the best out there. Love this site and the MGoBlog community as well. Thanks for all you do.

Possibly DE Kahlid Kareem? I would copy the actual tweet in here but having technical difficulties . . .

and only using words such as "hard working" and "driven" for lack of anything better to say about him?

I'm a faithful reader here, and value everyone's opinions (definitely helps my football cred when in all-male meetings). However, this hire doesn't seem to carry the accomplished resumes of the other coaches. At some point, will Coach Harbaugh provide his rationale for the hires, or does everyone wait to see how it all plays out during the season? I have complete faith in Harbaugh's decisions, heck, who am I to question? Just curious how it all works.

01/04/2015 - 6:10pm Replies to Feldman's tweet

Replies to Feldman's tweet are stating the Durkin is currently on campus. Anyone know if that's true?

01/02/2015 - 8:41pm This is perfect.

Glad to see you out of retirement for this. Thank you

Thanks massblue.

12/30/2014 - 1:23pm Did anyone else notice Jim

Did anyone else notice Jim Hackett said he will be evaluating the football program in a year? Or have I totally missed an announcement somewhere? Thanks.
