Fuck you, Bluey.

06/18/2018 - 5:30pm Strong film.

And regarding…

Strong film.

And regarding all this hand wringing about in-state recruiting, this team has what? three starters from Michigan. And that’s not for lack of trying, considering the roster make-up. I’m fine with 4 star out of state players versus 5 star in-state, and Harbaugh probably sees this too. The talent is lacking in-state.

06/03/2018 - 9:58pm You can’t fault Beilein for

You can’t fault Beilein for being interested or wanting to coach at the highest level in his profession.

It wouldn’t be anybody else’s fault either - Warde, The Pistons, the NBA. There’s so much anger in this thread about something none of us can control. All these rationalizations too. It’s one man’s choice, and I hope like most everyone he stays, but if he goes I’ll definitely be checking out what Beilein can do with a NBA roster. I imagine it’ll be fun to see. And if that’s what he wants he should take the opportunity, right?

06/01/2018 - 6:40pm There’s a bunch of strange

There’s a bunch of strange reasoning in this thread, which is to be expected, I guess.

If Beilein was concerned with a larger salary for his assistants or himself, he’d just ask. He has the AD’s ear on anything. He’s also not really the power play type of guy. Or a legacy type guy.

I doubt he goes, but it’s really to have a crack at the NBA before he retires.

The Pistons give him that NBA chance without having to uproot his life. And as we know, he’s been ahead of the curve in terms of offensive philosophy since WVU, and it would be great to see how he would implement that philosophy with NBA talent. He’s not a fundamentals type coach either, despite what people on this thread have suggested. He’s a big picture offensive guy, and with NBA talent I’m enthralled with the possibilities. And if it doesn’t work out in the NBA he just retires having coached every level of basketball.

05/27/2018 - 5:03pm Narcissistic post.

Narcissistic post.

05/25/2018 - 2:57pm That last paragraph is simply

That last paragraph is simply untrue and that rhetoric is detrimental and counter productive to citizens of the United States. The fact that you believe it and share it is worrisome, IMO.

/s?

05/25/2018 - 10:18am Another way to measure this

Another way to measure this is which schools have the highest family mean income for incoming freshman.

05/21/2018 - 8:23pm No doubt

If tidy is not just a typo, this is the most disturbing post on this thread.

05/17/2018 - 4:17pm Arteta is underwhelming, but

Arteta is underwhelming, but I wonder if he plans on bringing a Spanish style to the club, which would be interesting, given Pep, Jose, etc.

Buffon is as interesting an interview as any athlete out there too, and obviously a great goalkeeper. Hope he plays in the MLS for a year or two.

05/15/2018 - 2:48pm Yeah it was a Walgreens truck

Yeah it was a Walgreens truck that had blocked someone in. That someone thought it would be cool to shoot the driver of the truck.

05/15/2018 - 2:42pm It was a parking space

It was a parking space dispute, so kind of road rage.

05/15/2018 - 2:30pm Yeah. The DL stint counts

Yeah. The DL stint counts toward the suspension, and he is now ineligible for the post season, unless the suspension is reduced during an appeal.

05/10/2018 - 6:39pm I like your well-constructed

I like your well-constructed opinions, but fuck your idea of America. Certain citizens are punished for accusations all the time, and better people than this asshole. It’s already an authoritarian nightmare. Patricia is a menace to society, and not in that good Hollywood way. In that real, probably shouldn’t be around a school way.

05/10/2018 - 6:23pm And this is a flat out untrue

And this is a flat out untrue statement.

05/10/2018 - 4:47pm That’s a beautiful sentence.

That’s a beautiful sentence. I’m not being sarcastic. It’s great.

05/10/2018 - 4:42pm Downvotes give me strength

Downvotes give me strength like Sampson. But I can’t believe people think this guy should remain the Lions coach. I’m flabbergasted, truly. It’s very, very probable he’s a piece of shit. And that probability is good enough for me.

05/10/2018 - 4:39pm Yes, I’d still be okay with

Yes, I’d still be okay with it. This isn’t like sending an innocent person to the electric chair.

05/10/2018 - 3:53pm What statistical model are

What statistical model are you using to come up with this conclusion? The Hoffentrauer model, when the numbers are plugged in correctly, states unequivocally Matt Patricia committed sexual assault and should be fired, to then get his second chance at a small real estate firm - I used the Render statistical model to provide me with a probable future career path - where his beard will sell condos like hot cakes.

If you used the Holtheim model to conclude I should shut the fuck up, then that’s a strong conclusion. I used the Felterhoon model to conclude that you have trouble properly capitiliazing your written communications. i, the, etc.

05/10/2018 - 3:44pm You will forever be known to

You will forever be known to me as the guy who ate a piece of half pipe at the outdoor roller blading competition in Golden, Colorado on March 24th 1999 idiot.

05/10/2018 - 10:09am Justice is a myth.

Justice is a myth. They should change the language there to something more appropriate

05/10/2018 - 10:02am Cherry picking a situation to

Cherry picking a situation to skew overall statistics, chief.

05/10/2018 - 10:01am If my job was similar in

If my job was similar in nature to this job, and I was accused of sexual assault, or something similar in nature, I would advocate that I be fired.

05/10/2018 - 9:57am If my job was to represent a

If my job was to represent a very public organization, then yes, even I would fire my ass. But I also very much doubt he didn’t do anything.

05/10/2018 - 9:56am Second chances are great if

Second chances are great if you robbed a bank or something - provided nobody died. But no second chances with shit like this. I have no problem with him doing stuff with his life. Just not being a public face of an organization, a leader and role model, and making a small fortune. These accusation rarely, rarely come out of thin air, so conviction or not, fuck him overall.

05/10/2018 - 9:45am Yes, I think that.

He obviously shouldn’t be charged criminally, but he shouldn’t be a football coach either. The amount of time that has passed really doesn’t matter either. A year or twenty years, what’s the difference? He shouldn’t be a public representative of any organization from here on out. Fuck him, basically. He very likely did something, and should no longer have the privilege to be a head coach or a coach anywhere.

05/10/2018 - 9:26am The statistics say he

The statistics say he probably did something. The Lions won’t fire him, but they should.

05/02/2018 - 5:17pm Gardenhire said a couple days

Gardenhire said a couple days ago that they are concentrating on what they need to do to win the close games. Sure enough they pull out a couple one run games - today on the bunt, as you mentioned. He’s a good manager, and perfect for this team. A guy who the veterans and young guys both seem to respond to.

Bosio has done a hell of a job with the starting staff too. They are top five in the AL, which is incredible considering where they were last year.

05/02/2018 - 4:54pm This is a crazy take.

Dickerson is the one of the best play-by-play guys in the country.

04/29/2018 - 7:09pm That’s a US centric view, and

That’s a US centric view, and not even close to the truth.

04/29/2018 - 7:05pm The reasons you cited, save

The reasons you cited, save for immigration, would actually help my argument, but I’m not having that here. Wealth? Military spending/power? That’s some funny shit. The US is a presently failing state, and deep down, many people feel it.

04/29/2018 - 6:50pm If you define France as a

If you define France as a failed country, what the hell is the US then? A ruinous cesspool? A collapsed outhouse? A country of even greater failures on every discernible front?

04/29/2018 - 12:24pm He’s been working his way up

He’s been working his way up in the NBA since 1994, so he’s qualified.

04/28/2018 - 1:00pm They got some good players. I

They got some good players. I don’t hate this draft. I actually think it will end up being a productive one.

04/26/2018 - 10:26pm A B/B+ pick. Not fancy, but a

A B/B+ pick. Not fancy, but a franchise Center who can start right away.

04/25/2018 - 10:47am These kids don’t owe the

These kids don’t owe the university anything. It’s the university that owes them.

04/24/2018 - 6:29pm When has Michigan basketball

When has Michigan basketball under Beilein fallen to bullying?

04/23/2018 - 3:11pm He’s already gone.

He’s already gone.

04/19/2018 - 11:36am Zordich fucked up in that

Zordich fucked up in that recent presser. But I also don’t care what this coach has to say.

04/17/2018 - 5:39pm It doesn’t scream circus to

It doesn’t scream circus to me. It screams an individual who needs some help, which is a fairly common occurrence in CFB, and everywhere for that matter.

04/16/2018 - 1:06pm Lloyd's last season, and off

Lloyd's last season, and off season, if only to change the dumbass and wholly incorrect narrative that he hurt the program in any way.

04/12/2018 - 8:13pm You are assuming a whole lot

You are assuming a whole lot from a momentary reaction, which we only got one perspective of as viewers, and which I believe you are reading incorrectly. Your whole post is a hypothetical about a kid’s motives and frankly is a very thin argument and unnecessarily disparaging.

04/12/2018 - 7:58pm No. It’s all even now. Mo

No. It’s all even now. Mo would have a scholarship with no transfers needed now that Ibi is gone.

04/12/2018 - 7:41pm Good luck to him. It was nice

Good luck to him. It was nice to see him play some minutes during the run.

04/12/2018 - 6:56pm I’d take him over McElwain

I’d take him over McElwain every day and twice on Sunday. He did win a Super Bowl as an O Coordinator. Plus he’s a strong character guy.

04/12/2018 - 6:47pm That’s cool. Probably just

That’s cool. Probably just talking football. Caldwell is a pretty good coach, who’s been coaching for a long time and knows his stuff.

In an unrelated, but related note, I’d place a pretty big bet that Patricia will be a huge disaster. I wouldn’t even want him as a D coordinator. I’m also not saying Caldwell was the answer.

04/11/2018 - 12:23pm Durant wasn't, and that's why

Durant wasn't, and that's why using him as an example was a pretty bad argument.

04/11/2018 - 8:42am I highly doubt Castleton

I highly doubt Castleton plays over Davis. We really haven’t seen what Davis can do yet, because he was behind Teske and Mo, and I expect him to surprise some people. I think he’ll be a more than solid backup.

04/06/2018 - 11:54am That’s quite an inference you

That’s quite an inference you constructed based on my Kent Brockman commentary about a rather ridiculous “humanitarian” fluff piece.
