Feels like an overly optimistic preview.  When was the last time we dropped 40+ against a ranked road opponent?  Was it ND 2006?  I think this game will be much closer than some of you are predicting.

I love Chase, but I didn't care for the little brother comment.  We haven't exactly dominated the series lately, not the way Mike Hart era teams did.

Road win at night against a ranked opponent?  Maybe the last 10+ years have jaded me, but I'm putting that in the "I'll believe it when I see it" category.

01/18/2018 - 2:20pm I'm in total "I'll believe it

I'm in total "I'll believe it when I see it" mode.  I've seen far too many rosy pre season predictions for Michigan football over the last 10 years that have come to nothing.

12/31/2017 - 8:38pm I just don't share the same

I just don't share the same optimisim that many people here seem to have.  It seemed like everytime we came up against even a marginally competent run D this year, it was a slog.  The offense couldn't stay on the field and the defense got worn out.  I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is going to be a low scoring game that could easily go either way.

12/17/2017 - 12:31pm Star Wars

I'm a casual Star Wars fan and I left the movie a bit disappointed. It all seemed a bit forced, especially the parts with Luke, no pun intended. I’m not sure if Mark Hamill’s heart just wasn’t in it, or if it was bad writing or what, but something was definitely off IMHO. It seemed like the story was burdened by having to pay homage to the original trilogy over and over, i.e. the cringe worthy CGI Yoda scene. Hopefully now that Luke and Han are gone the series can move on. I thought Rouge One was an excellent example of the sort of story telling that can be created from the Star Wars universe without getting bogged down by past events, story lines, and characters.

The only thing worse than "THE SKY IS FALLING" people, are the people who overcompensate by proclaiming "IGNORE WHAT YOU SEE, THE SKY IS DEFINITELY NOT FALLING AND HERE IS SOME ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE FOR YOU".

11/25/2017 - 6:00pm *shrug*

Looking back on it, it kinda feels like that late hit penalty on Crable in the 2006 game was the moment Michigan's national relevance evaporated. Not much has gone right for this team since then.

11/17/2017 - 3:43pm 33-10 Wisconsin

33-10 Wisconsin

11/05/2017 - 3:17pm Win out?

Easy turbo.  We got curb stomped by the one ligitimately good team we played so far this year.  I'd say simply not embarrassing ourselves against Wisconsin and OSU along with showing some improvment out of the O-Line/QB would be a big win.  Bonus points for a bowl victory.

10/27/2017 - 7:12pm We win because we are less bad than they are.....

10/22/2017 - 1:38am Anyone who watched Michigan's

Anyone who watched Michigan's preceeding games with any shred of objectivity could see this coming.  I feel like I'm watching the same shitty movie i've seen so many times since 2007.  Michigan shows obvious signs of problems, but somehow comes into mid October 5-1 or 6-0 and people just drink the kool-aid.  The first decent conference opponent we run into, we shit the bed and it's all down hill from there.  I thought we got off the ride with JH, but here we go again.

10/22/2017 - 1:27am Sigh

It's not like I expected JH to never loose, but damn, this felt like a RR loss.  Completely out classed and outcoached in every possible way.  Sometimes I miss the 8-4 Carr years.  We lost, but outside of 2007, we were rarely embarrassed as we were tonight, and probably will be against OSU.  I dunno man, I want inner peace, but something is wrong here, you can see on JH's face.

10/21/2017 - 6:36pm I'm so scared

10/21/2017 - 4:26pm 31-10 Penn State

I think this gets ugly. Michigan looses the field position battle on 3 and outs, turnovers and special teams miscues. The overworked defense can't defend the short field the offense keeps leaving them and Penn State blows it open in the late 3rd quarter.

11/13/2016 - 1:08am Meaningless Game

Mighigan attemped to out Iowa - Iowa today and suceeded magnificently.  At least it happened on a game that turned out not to matter.

11/12/2016 - 11:58pm Yea, I thought JH was all

Yea, I thought JH was all about the "meritocracy", so its a bit surprising that Smith has seen so much playing time.  Especially with this struggles to hit open holes.

11/12/2016 - 11:51pm Get the fuck out with that

11/12/2016 - 11:45pm This sucks, but given what

This sucks, but given what else happened today, its meaningless.  We are still right where we started at 8pm.  If we win out, we go to the playoffs.

Those play calls after the last interception were straight out of the Carr/Debord/Hoke/Borges playbook.  I had really hoped I'd seen the end of that ultra conservative bullshit.

11/12/2016 - 10:01pm Eh, making bad teams look

Eh, making bad teams look good has been a Michigan tradition since 2008 or so.  Looks like it's dying off with Harbaugh, but like a bad STD, flare ups like tonight will happen.

11/12/2016 - 7:29pm Clemson is playing like

Clemson is playing like toasty hot garbage, and at home no less.  Good for them.

11/12/2016 - 7:24pm I wish I could be as

10/29/2016 - 8:32pm The general consensus around

The general consensus around here (backed up by the stats) was that Michigan would completely dominate MSU.  So its understandable why some fans are in such an uproar over the team's performance.  I don't understand why someone can't be happy with the win and also look critically at how the team played.  Terms like "fluky" and "iffy" to describe what happened is rose tinted glasses nonsense and even more ridiculous when your 1st team defense is still on the field.  These weren't garbage time points.  They were genuine and somewhat concerning defensive breakdowns especially considering how dominate we were supposed to be.  I'm happy with the win, but it was far from the beatdown most (including myself) thought it would be.

11/21/2015 - 9:49pm It's nice to see a coach

It's nice to see a coach freak out like Harbaugh did.  I'd have to go back and watch it on DVR, but I'm pretty sure after at least two of those huge freakouts the defense recorded a sack or negative yardage play.  They really seemed to be feeding off of his energy.  So much better than blank stares and golf claps.

OSU's tears of unfathomable sadness taste delicious, but they will bring their A game next week.  Michigan has a legitimate shot, but I'd sure feel better with Glasgow out there plugging run holes.

11/21/2015 - 9:21pm Hopefully.  That is still a

Hopefully.  That is still a very talented team and I can't see them making the same mistake with Elliott twice, especially after watching the Indiana tape.

11/15/2015 - 5:16pm Michigan has been terrible on

Michigan has been terrible on the road for the last several years against anything remotely resembling a quality team.  The last quality win?  Sugar Bowl?  Capital One? Notre Dame 06'? Ouch.
