As someone who’s only been a member since last year, and was not active at all especially once they started losing, I enjoy this because it’s new to me.

I saw an ND fan on twitter claim that they “manhandled” Michigan.

OSU fans may have met their match in ignorance

Edit: I saw a post today where an OSU fan essentially said urban Meyer was a comparable moral equivalent to Jesus Christ.

I’m sorry I haven’t seen Haskins make one throw that says he’s a heisman candidate. He underthrew the first TD to the point where the DB almost had the PBU. The second TD pass he threw behind a guy that had no one between him and the end zone. Could have put it anywhere between him and the end zone and it’s a TD yet he throws behind him. Every other throw is within 7 yards of the LOS to wide open receivers. Most are within 4 yards of the LOS. Most overrated player in college football. Nothing against the kid, just the analysts that think he’s the next roethlisberger. Lewerke held that title before the season but people have cooled on him.

Does anyone else believe the spot that red gave Weber on fourth? Man what’s worse is they didn’t even call down to review it. The red kept moving his spot up the field. Ended up a yard passer where he actually was down

The concussion rate in women’s hockey is higher than men’s hockey and professional football. There’s no hitting allowed in women’s hockey. It really is just bad luck a lot of the time. I’ve had about 4 or 5 concussions from hockey. A couple minor, a couple major.

10/10/2018 - 1:14pm This year’s Michigan team…

This year’s Michigan team can put points up, especially if Wisconsin sells out the run like most teams have, and all the of injuries to the UW secondary, Michigan’s passing attack will put up points that I don’t think the UW offense can match. And if we are to believe the players, apparently there is more in the playbook that could open it up even more. Even if there isn’t, I’m comfortable with Michigan covering.

If Michigan wins, which I think they will, it should be two scores at least. I’m fine with 8.5

10/09/2018 - 8:21pm Illitch needs to sell the…

Illitch needs to sell the wings and tigers. Mike was the only one who cared about them. Marian is too old to manage them and chris doesn’t care about the team’s success, just dollar signs. Obviously understandable but all great owners are willing to do a lot to give the city a winning team. Chris does not care to that level. I mean we also have the ford family who doesn’t give two s***s about the lions. Gores does care but I don’t think he knows what he’s doing. He did a good thing with Casey. But I still disagree with the move to LCA. The palace is all paid off, it’s not in great shape but so many arenas nowadays renovate instead of rebuilding, the seating is much better than LCA, parking is better, not an easy place to get to but sometimes, neither is LCA. Also any arena that doesn’t have a corporate name holds a place in my heart. It was the best name for any arena in the NBA. With them building a training center in Detroit, I know this won’t happen, but I hope when their agreement is up they go back to the palace. If attendance remains the same for those pistons games, they might be better off somewhere else. I’ll say I was much more willing to go to a game at the palace than I am at LCA. Seats are incredibly uncomfortable

This won’t be popular but Shea has reminded me of o’korn in one area: decision making. O’korn was always holding on to the ball and almost afraid to put it in the air at all. I see that with Shea sometimes. But then he goes and makes an amazing throw and I snap out of it. But still, I do think he is hesitant sometimes like o’korn was. He’s much better at working through his progressions though. With o’korn it was one read and then the play is over.

If they lose, I’m done with Michigan football. When does basketball start? You know the sport where our coach knows what he’s doing and properly prepares his players for games.

I would like to see the illitch family sell both the red wings and tigers. Chris does not give two shits about the product just the dollar signs, which is understandable but not the approach to running a successful sports franchise. Penny pinching will get them nowhere.

Also I've heard he’s a micro manager which pisses people off.

09/25/2018 - 1:32pm What’s kind of crazy is…

What’s kind of crazy is women’s hockey has a higher concussion rate than football and they aren’t allowed to hit at any level. Also I read this around the time it was published and it gives a different perspective into what the research and data everyone cites when talking about how dangerous football is, means: http://www.slate.com/articles/sports/sports_nut/2017/07/the_press_is_overhyping_the_latest_study_on_cte_in_the_nfl.html

Football is dangerous and so is hockey, they are inherently violent. I’ve had a few concussions from hockey but it didn’t stop me from playing. At some point, people need to realize that the players are choosing to play and participate. If a player goes out of his way tin hurt someone there should be a penalty but it’s getting to the point where you can’t hit anyone anymore. Find the normal middle ground

09/24/2018 - 3:34pm People scoffed at me saying…

People scoffed at me saying they were 2017 Michigan with a better offensive line. I think 2017 Michigan beats 2018 BYU at home. I thought Wisconsin, Sparty, and Penn State were overrated. PSU not as much as the other two. I thought Sparty would get bowl eligible but not much more. Wisconsin will have a decent record playing in the west, but in the B1G championship, they will most likely not stand a chance.

09/24/2018 - 2:41am Also, if we want to analyze…

Also, if we want to analyze qb play, Dylan made a read and throw to Martin in the end zone on third down, should have led him to the back of the end zone and didn’t, meanwhile if he just glances to his right instead of predetermining the throw, which I know happens but I’d rather not see it on a fade on third down, McCurry is more wide open than I’ve seen a receiver all year and can waltz in for a td. Yet he threw to the receiver that needed to make a spectacular catch to haul it in. But let’s chastise peters for making really the only throw he could but it was late and took a spectacular play by the defender to result in an int. Let’s just be fair with our criticism and have some perspective.

09/24/2018 - 2:22am Rewatching it, Dylan…

Rewatching it, Dylan definitely had great athleticism and made a good throw to Bell on the td. I do want to address how so many fans are saying he’s the next big thing and completely throwing peters in the trash. All of mccaffrey’s throws, the receivers were wide open, even the bell throw he had a step and a half. That was still an exceptional throw but on the one pass attempt peters had, no one was open except for a guy 1 yard from the out of bounds line, 20+ yards away for a hobbled qb to throw to on the run. It wasn’t like peters could lead him, there was no field left to lead him, and he made the read late but again, no in game reps. I also saw Dylan run the same play and had a receiver running the route Eubanks was and threw it directly at the receiver, if the dB covering him looks back it’s a potential pick luckily it was too high for anyone. The dB made a great play on peters throw. It also had shades of shea’s Pick last week where the TE could have come back for the ball but didn’t. His other options were absolutely blanketed. Dylan had receivers wide open and found some big running lanes to exploit when he did tuck it. There’s a reason peters was ahead of him before he got hurt. BP hasn’t had near the amount of reps since the season started as Dylan because of the injury. His first throw on a no win play while he’s clearly favoring a leg doesn’t mean he’s trash and has no chance to beat out Dylan for the starting job next year. Just like how everyone overreacted about week 1, I think we need to pump the brake on mccaffrey hype just a little. I could have made every throw he had except for the bell one. All of these guys have amazing touch on the ball.

09/22/2018 - 3:51pm It was both. It was late so…

It was both. It was late so he could try to get more drive on the throw and he couldn’t get the drive so it was short. Peters pre South Carolina game looked better than Dylan has this year and he had 1. A much worse line with a much worse o line coach 2. WRs running horrible routes 3. Horrible play calling 4. No run game. Dylan has the opposite of all of those this year.

09/22/2018 - 3:43pm Peters was limping…

Peters was limping everywhere. I don’t know why he was in and if you’re gonna put him in, why roll him out where he has to generate power on his bad right leg? That throw was short and he was clearly not 100% when rolling out?
