Crawford averaged16.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals in his freshman year in only 17 games. He was totally electrifying while playing on a not awesome team.
Boobs in your avatar are like sexy naked girls on the mudflaps of your truck.
You can defend your DIS IS AMURICA right to have them, but please know that every respectable person around you thinks you're a jackass.
Simple question: Does your right to have boobies under your username somehow trump everyone elses right to read mgoblog without having to look at boobies? Should we have to put up with ANY amount of risk that clicking a link on mgoblog will cause problems at work?
Its not about "censorship" or whatever you personally define as "misogyny".
Its about making an inclusive community rather than an exclusive one.
If I had to choose between sharing this community with either
A) women
or
B) dudes who can't shut up for five minutes about boobs
Its a pretty easy choice.
Having boobs on your avatar adds nothing to the content or community of the blog, taking boobs off your avatar DOES add to the community and therefore the content of the blog.
I'm seriously disappointed in so many of you right now. Call your mothers.
I want to be able to enjoy one amazing moment of Michigan football history without Turn Down for What or an Eminem song blasting in my ears (or Cherry Pie or Sweet Caroline or anything)
I get that it makes wasted people feel really excited and it's a "wow experience" for first time or occasional attendees. I even like rap music. When you go to every home game it gets tired really quickly. This goes double for basketball games.
There were some outside sec 44 this year on the outer ring of the concourse. Washtenaw Dairy donuts too. Were the only good thing about some of the games this year.
In the article the writer attributes much of the early success of Harbaugh with Alex Smith at SF to reducing the number of sight reads and simplifying the decision making process on passing plays.
Not only should she have known how to spell it but her parents that surely supplied her with markers and brought her to the game should have caught the mistake. Totally fair game. If she is sad she has only her parents to blame.
My favorite part of this story which you don't often hear is that on the previous play a UM player was going to get tackled inbounds and would have ran out the clock. Except he lateraled the ball OOB and straight into the hands of Lee Corso. Clock stopped. Michigan won on the next play. That play is now illegal.
Our offense is missing an inside game so badly. I feel like I haven't seen pick-and-roll pts all season. Maybe if Bacari and Ricky Doyle can figure something out we will still have a shot at a tourney.
Agreed. If we can all step back from being the huge Michigan fans that we are we would realize that it wouldn't look good for his "flake" image, nor his future NFL prospects if he would have signed with M the day after his team got knocked out of the playoffs.
Whether he is truly considering other NFL offers or not he kind of has to act like he is sticking around until he's not anymore.
I posted this on another thread but I think it makes sense here too as everyone is speculating on motivations and timing. Forgive me if you disagree.
Food for thought:
Perhaps Jim really wants to come to Michigan but is trying to burn off some of his "flake" reputation by finishing the season and also by creating the impression of (or actually) considering NFL offers.
I imagine he would get tired of hearing that flake shit, and that given his personality (desire to win a superbowl, insane competitiveness) he would not want to look like he just gave up on the NFL and fled back to college tail between his legs. This way it paints a narrative of something he did for his family and for pride in his alma mater and doesn't look like he ran away after a disappointing season
Honestly if the 49ers got eliminated from the playoffs and he signed with Michigan the next day we would have all been dancing in the streets but it would have had some negative implications for his overall character, and perhaps damaged any chance he might have at returning to the NFL before retirement.

Disagree. I've been to nearly every home game for 25 years (I started when I was 6, so this is not a get-off-my-lawn post) and the experience of all the noise nowadays is maddening and annoying. Believe it or not it often actually prevents the crowd from making any noise. When there is silence students and fans and the band will come up with ways to fill that silence but they can't even start doing that when every dull moment is clogged up with shitty music and announcements from the press box. The students used to be creative and come up with their own cheers but now they just sing along to Sweet Caroline.
I sit in row 17 and people behind me are constantly pissed that I stand up, always have been, and while that is annoying it is not a good reason to pipe in constant noise.
It used to be nice to enjoy a fall day outside and a marching band and hopefully some crowd-noise. I'm even reluctantly in support of when they ring the hells bells to get the crowd jacked up on 3rd down, but the volume (as in quantity/frequency) of the noise interruptions is really awful these days.
Ultimately it makes us a boring, generic sports experience. It may not be as much of a WOW experience and it may be labelled as "boring and posh" to outsiders but it creates a community and a deep loyalty that you don't get by playing to the flashy, noisy, pro-sports experience crowd.
I believe that is a blinky LED bracelet that were given to fans as part of one of the UTL game promotions. Part of the WOW experience. Depending on who you ask its either sort-of-neat or annoyingly stupid, much like the man himself.
This x 1,000. Having a winning team allows you to sell tickets without having to make an effort attract "families of four from grand rapids who go to one game a year". Win games and try not to ruin the gameday experience and you will have no problem pulling in revenue from all over the place.
All the advertising and scheming (and hiring a whole office full of marketing folks) can't replace winning in terms of cash-flow.
I really enjoyed this hot take. A resounding and well-deserved burn for the guy who was the face of all the stupid bullshit that has gone down in the past few years. Good riddance.
The case is going into an appeals hearing in January. Will be tried on the grounds that the lawyer was negligent (she ended up being disbarred in 2001).

Anybody know what the halftime show will be? I was really hoping to see Quick-Change.

Thats my e-pinion for the day.
Being repeatedly ignored by Brandon is surprisingly better than having him respond. Keep fighting the good fight.
