I'm surprised that no one is giving ibi a chance. I honestly think he plays over livers. Let's not forget that coach gave him non garbage time early in the year. the potential is there.

03/29/2017 - 3:50pm what does it mean

what does it mean to have a live arm? I believe I've heard the term before, but never had someone explain it to me. thanks!

03/19/2017 - 6:56pm I see you said

I see you said you posted it, but maybe a repost here would be awesome?

03/19/2017 - 6:54pm that's interesting

Would you mind posting a link to your study? I'm sure others are interested to read it as well.

03/16/2017 - 1:17pm to clarify

they have several top 100 players each year over the last 5 recruiting classes. Jalen brunson is their only 5*

03/16/2017 - 1:15pm one note

Do you and the board think of villanova as a basketball recruiting blue blood? As far as I can tell, the last few years they've recruited very well. But not nearly at the level of Duke and Kentucky.

03/15/2017 - 10:13am me neither

steadfast coach B supporter. Not every year is the greatest, but no matter the scores, he and his kids are easy to root for. The best coaches are able to navigate through adversity and improve the team. His ability to turn rocks into hidden gems is like a magic trick no one else seems to do at his level.

03/12/2017 - 7:05pm agreed

I thought the exact thing.

03/12/2017 - 5:00pm yes!

what a great win! did they even trail?

03/12/2017 - 2:46pm shoes

Those high top shoes have some potential. Nike should jump on a retro jersey that matches these uniforms.

03/11/2017 - 3:14pm great win

I'm so happy for this team. They need to eat a big cheeseburger, grapes, steak, Chipotle, and drink a glass of milk. Ice it up. Then sleep.

03/11/2017 - 2:37pm maar

looked like he lost his dude on that one. I'd like to see him drive it a little more.

03/11/2017 - 1:56pm haha

I seem to yell that same thing every game at one with someone on this team.

Just dunk it! You're super tall and can jump out of the gym.

I love DJ tho

03/11/2017 - 1:19pm wow

just nuts how we are rolling now

03/10/2017 - 12:46am scores today

all of the scores today we're blow outs interestingly. I don't think any of the other tournaments had quite the same type of disparity.

03/09/2017 - 2:35pm wow

what a demolition. This team can play D!

03/09/2017 - 11:48am harbaugh style

play shirts and skins, street ball.

03/06/2017 - 12:16pm wut?

you should not post for a while.

03/05/2017 - 1:04pm attrition

with the team currently skewed to the younger side, I'd expect there to be more than 3 players move on after two seasons where their playing time is limited. The natural competitive lines and playing time limitations at QB, wr, and OL might force some out.

With that, I'd believe the class will be closer to 20 than 18.

03/04/2017 - 12:54pm contributor

To clarify, they definitely didn't win any games for them. Maybe a contributor for several running plays being stopped shorter than they should have been. But I actually thought the pass pro was decent for most of the year (except against FSU!).

03/04/2017 - 12:51pm completely different

story line if refs call the 4th down stop, or the last Iowa interception doesn't freakishly bounce into the defensive back. Neither season/game defining plays had anything to do with the OL. They would have been (probably should have still been) in the playoffs.

Idk, you might still have the opinion that our OL needs to improve? I hope they do, too. But it def didn't cost them three losses.

03/04/2017 - 12:43pm luck factor

Underperform for the whole season? That's a very harsh hot take considering many people still believe we won the osu game.
And total margin of loss is less than a TD, having played several top ten teams. Not to mention, I think we were winning in each loss in within the last few minutes.

I would agree if you meant we had a relatively poor games against Iowa and FSU. Or if you meant, "this was the team to win it all. Literally a few bounces ruined everything".

03/02/2017 - 10:53am good coaching

has them at 30th in KenPom, a top ten offense, and the ability to turn no name athletes (Robinson, MAAR, and Wagner) into a squad that handed the top two teams in the league their largest margin of defeat. They also developed Walton into an all big ten performer. Its pretty dense if you quite literally cannot comprehend why someone might support that.

03/02/2017 - 9:21am should clarify

I am referring to Hoke and his staff, not just Hoke.

03/02/2017 - 9:19am Happy

Happy for them all! Normally I am supportive of the OP. The sarcastic dig by the title is a little unnecessary 3 years out. Hoke had dedicated much of his time to the university. Its not unreasonable to request that people not need to throw subtle digs at him anymore any time guys name is mentioned.

Hopefully they will give him a chance to be successful.

03/01/2017 - 9:26pm no

Win at all costs, amirite?! New coaches grow on trees! Grass is always greener!

Haha this is such a bad opinion. You people don't talk when the team is running the train on other opponents. Let's forget that our offense is one of the best in the country.

And then if you defend him, you're an apologist. Which is also another dumb opinion. JB is an elite coach. He's a great fit, develops one of the most advanced offensive teams in the nation, runs a clean program, identifies and develops unlike any other coach, and wins A LOT.

03/01/2017 - 8:53pm thank you

thank you big ten camera crew. wtf

03/01/2017 - 8:42pm one and one

anyone feel that nw got a break for only a one and one?

03/01/2017 - 8:23pm I repeat

Walton is fucking nasty.

03/01/2017 - 8:22pm Walton

Walton is fucking nasty

03/01/2017 - 8:16pm because

big ten...

02/26/2017 - 8:30am agreed

the DBS may not be as talented (yet!) as last year's team with its experience and athleticism, but you're right. They'll still be fine. maybe not top ten unit, but probably more like top 30.

02/25/2017 - 5:20pm yeah

wtf was that? I thought that was super odd as well. And honestly, I also thought the foul called when MAAR drove on the fast break didn't look like anything either.

02/17/2017 - 4:37pm agreed

This opinion doesn't get shared enough. Good of you to speak up.

I love having him as our coach, too. And I like that he's able to identify quality D1 talent that others fail to see. And keeps our program clean. I dispose the win at all costs mentality.

02/15/2017 - 12:50pm yeah

me too, with elite length and speed. I can only imagine he'll get picked up in the 5th round at least.

02/12/2017 - 2:36pm haha agreed

It's a wonder how he attracts SO many weird-ass phantom calls. And we def suffer as a result bc he's such a key part of our offense.

02/12/2017 - 2:20pm hooking

That's the second blatant hook that Indiana has gotten away with. Could someone describe better when it becomes an offensive foul?

01/29/2017 - 4:19pm not your thread

I appreciate your thought. I meant the board post in general.

01/29/2017 - 4:17pm Walton

Walton is not average. And I say this respectfully, in many ways he's above average to elite. Low turnover to assist ratio, top ten big ten ft percentage, above average three percentage, and a top five rebounding point guard in the country. Having flaws may not make him dominant, but it sure doesn't make him average.

On another note, this thread is very unproductive. I know we hate losing, but let's be serious, we are not a terrible team. And we are also trending up in several meaningful ways, including defense. We have the ability to beat any team in the conference, except for maybe Purdue or Northwestern.

01/11/2017 - 7:45pm Son?

Son?

01/03/2017 - 1:36pm yeah agreed

loved watching him. it was nice having such a fun athlete after the denard era. go do your thing dude, get paid! and good luck

01/01/2017 - 4:31am one thing to consider

they were both professional athletes. it's a very different practice situation between collegiate athletics and professional.

12/31/2016 - 11:40am all of those

are team achievements.... he did help his team have back to back top ten seasons...

12/11/2016 - 1:21am actually enjoyed

I actually enjoyed this loss, if that's a thing. They aren't going to win the title, but they really did hang tough and played well. When the other team is sinking shots five feet from the three point line, there is not much you can do with that. I mean UCLA shot lights out. Michigan played well enough to win most of their games.

11/18/2016 - 8:57pm whoop

it's that whoop whoop!! that was awesome.

10/23/2016 - 11:26am agree mostly w you

I can't imagine a two loss Wisconsin is above a one loss osu, who also beat Wisconsin.

10/16/2016 - 9:03pm and also

just in case, I didn't think you were whining about it. I was just commenting on the idea that dantonio ran up the score.

10/16/2016 - 9:02pm *in all honesty

*in all honesty

10/16/2016 - 9:01pm don't blame him

I'm all honesty, I don't blame him. IMHO I don't think there needs to be a reason. If they had a good enough team to beat us by 50, that's exactly what they should have done. And that goes for any team. People who whine about teams that "run up the score" are worrying about the wrong thing.

10/09/2016 - 3:28pm boom

I see what you did there
