I can hear Fred Jackson saying...

He's J Morris but faster.

Woohooooo!!!

I really wanted O"Maury to be a part of the class he seems like a heck of a kid. Video highlights look great but I realize the competition is not that good. Good luck O'Maury we wish you the best.

I work with Sprint

I work in finance with Sprint in their headquarters. I saw your post and I'm sorry that you are frustrated with the signal inside the stadium. I don't work with network group but it appears that the signal in the area is excellent but just not penetrating the stadium. Much of what the previous responses say are true about the signal penetration. However, I have submitted a ticket to see if there is any way we can escalate the issue to improve the signal. Our network is improving substantially and it may be possible to improve the signal there now or in the near future. I hope we can help you out.

Patterson announcing a commitment on Tuesday, Feb 17th
Steve Wilfong tweeted that Shea Patterson is announcing his commitment on Tuesday, Feb 17th. It looks like Steve believes that Ole Miss is the favorite for now.

So sad to see his life to turn like it did

I remember going to see Michigan play at St John's Arena. During the game Roy got a rebound and with Ohio's bigs all around him he elevated and did a fantanstic reverse slam. The Ohio crowd just went "whoa". I loved it and I'll never forget him.

If we get...

If we get White, we could have a Green and White backfield... sorry

Sounds like we need to get

Sounds like we need to get our "Butt" in gear.

Welcome Andrew!!!

Remember.... Think BRUNETTES

I lived there 15 years

When I first moved there I still had Michigan plates on my car. I would find soda or beer bottles under my tires in parking lots, pop and beer cans with the refreshments still in them hurled at at my car while driving down the road, obscenities screamed at me, and my car vandalized. That was on the good days ;-) Just kidding. about that being the good days but the rest was true.

Once I got my Ohio plates things settled down some. Mind you, this was when Bo and Woody were going at it back in the mid 70s. Most of the people I knew were fairly civil and we were able to have friendly rivalries during the balance of my time there.

Columbus is an okay town and they have some good people there. Good luck if you move there.

My daughter had worked with the murdered girl.

My daughter introduced me to the now deceased girl a couple of years ago when she just started dating Belcher. She was very friendly and full of life. Too bad her life ended like this. We're all saddened by it here in KC.

KC Michigan fans

There is a alumni group here in KC and occasionally watch games locally together. I"M always looking for UM fans locally to hang with.

Steaks or BBQ

I've lived on the Southwest side of KC (Olathe/Overland Park, KS) for 20 years. I like Oklahoma Joe's for BBQ Chicken or sandwiches, Fiorella's Jack Stack BBQ for ribs or Smokehouse BBQ for the best burnt ends you can eat. Oklahoma Joe's is closed on Sundays and their burnt ends are good but only served on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

What part of town will you be coming too? Personally, I like Texas Roadhouse for a nice steak dinner but their sides are fairly small.

Marion Franklin High School

Marion Franklin High School is a part of the Columbus Ohio School District. I believe you are thinking of Marion, Ohio which is North of Columbus. However, Marion Franklin High School is on the South/Southeast side of the Columbus metro area.

Pipkins vs Boehm

I agree, I'm really lookig forward to Ondre coming to anchor the line. I live in the KC area and I'm going to try to make it to Ondre's game with Lee's Summit West this Friday. I believe that's the team that has Evan Boehm (spelling?) who is one of the top offensive linemen at his position (committed to Missouri). Ondre and Evan went at each other in in camp and Ondre manhandled him. It should be fun to watch.

Pipkins vs Boehm

I'm going to try to go to that Oct 7th game. A son of a co-worker wrestles against Boehm a couple of times a year and she said he's an animal. My money is on Pipkins though cause he's a beast..

BWC Nocturnal? Quite possibly!

It appeared his technique was improving in the ND game. If he can remember to play lower and not stand upright maybe he'll get the confidence to be the animal everyone believes he is.

McGary

I believe Mitch plans on announcing the first week of October, around the 7th.  I'm thiniking  that Zach is waiting until after his high school season is over, but maybe the visit this last weekend may change things, we'll see.

I just heard no commitment from Danny yet

The source is from someone we all know and respect.

Dymonte, Welcome!!

I've been waiting for your commitment. This is just awesome and we look forward to you being on the field ASAP!!!

Best of luck to you

Tom, I'm a relatively new member here, but a life long fan of Michigan. In the short time I've been on here I have seen the respect and appreciation the members have given you as well a the relationships and trust that have been developed with each recruit. You've represented this site and Michigan well. I've looked forward to your posts and they've been insightful and respectful. Keep up the good work, good luck, and we'll miss you.

Agreed

I'd love to see Danny and Ondre filling the middle for years to come. I can just see opposing coaches trying to figure out which one to double team. I know our LBs and DBs are probably excited. Coach Hoke and company is making their lives alot less stressful back there.

DGB

DGB is about 3 hours away from KC and I'm not sure they'd have an opportunity to get to know each other.

Finally!!!

I've been looking forward to this one for quite some time. From one Michigan fan in KC to another, welcome aboard. They say you can take the boy out of Michigan but you can't take Michigan out of the boy.  Go Blue!

Olathe, KS

Is there any UM club or UM friendly bar in Olathe, KS (Southwest KC area)?

Refreshing

Refreshing. Seems like a good kid and one that others can look up to.

Welcome to the family Kyle!

This is indeed great news. We've been anxiously waiting for you. Mr Strobel, thank you for encouraging Kyle to come with you. Now, who's next, Diamond, Peat, Pipkins, Wormly, or O'Brien? Why don't we just do a conference call and get this all taken care of? Oh, and thanks to Coach Hoke and crew for bringing back the enthusiasm for this great program.

Welcome to the family!

Jarrod, welcome to the family. We wish you every success in your athletic and academic efforts.

Pipkins sets UM visit

According to Scout Ondre has firmed up his visit to Meeechigan. Let's get it done big guy!

Last visit to ND

ND has a rather large class of quality DB's already. Jarred, if he's looking at that and I'm sure he is, realizes that his opportunity for significant playing time is better at UM. And a DB's best friend is a strong DL. Come on Ondre and Adolphus.

I commend you Mr Elmer.

That's great that you're researching the academic institution since that is what gives Steven the tools to succeed outside of a rather short football career. The success of UM alumni is phenomenal and they are respected by prestigious and high caliber companies everywhere. I know this first hand.

The UM football tradition is rich and will afford Steven a unique experience that few schools can match and instantly connects him with a line of successful contemporaries and predecessors. Finally, the new coaching staff offers years of experience in both collegiate and professional sports, a history of excellent instruction and building relationships with players, and they will intently watch over Steven's character development.

We'd love to have you and Steven be a part of something special here at UM. Best wishes to his future.

Grinning from ear to ear

Dang, it must be spreading West because it's happening here in Kansas City too! Go Blue
