People are trying to slam Michigan and the Wolverines can't defend themselves. Michigan gave Enis an academic plan at the start of the year. It didn't work out. The same can be said for others in this class. Regarding Swenson, Michigan told him to camp, Michigan wanted to see him workout at his school, none of that happened. He never official visited to Ann Arbor. I certainly understand how people could initially view all these decommitments, but I believe there is a justifiable story with each one. My opinion.

Eagles secondary is the worst in the league. He's projected higher than Fitzpatrick.

12/13/2015 - 10:09am Jordan Reed isn't a bad

Jordan Reed isn't a bad backup option at TE. I had him and dropped him after he had concussion a while back because o didn't think he would return this year with all the concussions he's had.

12/13/2015 - 10:05am Current lineupQB - Tyrod

Current lineup
QB - Tyrod Taylor
RB - Matt Forte, Chris Ivory
WR - Sammy Watkins, Danny Amendola
TE - Austin Jenkins
Flex - Todd Gurley
D - Carolina
K - Justin Tucker

QB - Drew Brees, Ryan Fitzpatrick
RB - Giovani Bernard
WR- Jordan Matthews, DeVante Parker
TE - Gary Barnidge

With Gurley getting limited carries the last 2 weeks, do I start Parker or Barnidge over Gurley or leave him at flex? I don't like Manziel throwing to Barnidge but it's an option.

I picked up Parker today in case Amendola can't go tonight. He's may be a good flex option though.

Pick 3...Amendola, Stevie Johnson, Sammy Watkins and Jordan Matthews. I have Amendola, Watkins and Johnson set right now. Only questioning Matthews because Sanchez is playing and he loved him last year.

08/29/2014 - 12:42pm Distance?

I thought distance wasn't a factor?

According to Roseboro, location won’t factor into his decision. “My parents, they’re going to come wherever I go,” Roseboro said. “We’ve already talked about that. They said, ‘Don’t go somewhere just because you don’t think we’re not going to make it. We’re going to be at every game.’ They’re in a position where they can do that.”
11/17/2013 - 9:38pm BTN right now

The game is on BTN right now. BIG Game of the week.

02/20/2013 - 9:32pm Really,

With the following quote "it seems that you just suck at reading, or are being intentionally misleading" Why even post the first part of that sentence? I'm not the only one who was having trouble reading this article. That's one of the reasons the original title had a question mark.

But I hope it makes you feel better that I probably "suck at reading" since the article was so well written.

02/20/2013 - 7:41pm Title change...

There you go sweetheart!

02/20/2013 - 6:58pm That's why I posted it here.

That's why I posted it here. I figured if he was visiting, someone on here would probably know.

I just don't see it anywhere else. That's why I put a question mark.

01/17/2013 - 10:24am Play like...

01/17/2013 - 10:20am Te'oing....

04/16/2012 - 8:50am Huh?

You have the wrong Richardson!  Trent Richardson played for Alabama (prom date), Terry Richardson signed with Michigan this year.

04/05/2012 - 3:49pm B-I-N-G-O,

You took the words right out of my mouth with the leverage.  Watching Howard and Nelson sitting outside the team huddle during timeouts makes me want to go through the TV.  I don't give a shit if you "think" you are better than the team, the coach or the organization, THIS IS A TEAM SPORT.  Last time i checked, I've never seen one or two players win a 5 on 5 basketball on their own.  Get your ass in the huddle with the rest of the team and be a good teammate.  You make MILLIONS of dollars and you can't spend 30-60 seconds in the team huddle a few times a game.  RIDICULOUS!

This crap would never happen in college, you think Bobby Knight would have allowed Chaney to chill at the end of the bench during a timeout?!?!  Chairs would have been flying.  NCAA > NBA

01/20/2012 - 11:28am Curious...

Can a recruit just to a coach "thanks but no thanks" when it comes to a visit? I think Dymonte will stay blue regardless but if I was totally blue, I would tell Urb not to waste his time. Kind of like Kyle Kali's did.

01/09/2012 - 3:19pm Larkin

Living in Cincinnati my whole life, I obviously grew up a Reds fan.  Watching the games at a younger age, I just loved how Barry Larkin played. I tried to get #11 in every sport for my number to be just like him. He was and still is my favorite baseball player of all time. Well deserved Barry and congrats!

01/06/2012 - 9:19am Heresay...

But it was mentioned NUMEROUS times on this thread starting from the 3rd post...

01/06/2012 - 9:13am Question

Is Stonum still on scholarship?  If they were to let him go after this, wouldn't that have opened up a spot for Arnett since they told him they were full?

01/05/2012 - 8:36am All of them...

All of them minus Boren but does he even count?

12/15/2011 - 8:07am I agree,

but not only that, he's not 'limited' to be just a RB, this young man can play multiple positions.  He does lack the top end speed but how many guys at 6'2" 230lbs are going to have it?  Not very many.  SIgn this young man up!

12/13/2011 - 12:21am Better?

How about no dots? Is that better? ...smh...

12/13/2011 - 12:18am Colerain

The only other notable recruit at Colerain is S Andre Jones and he's committed to Cincinnati.

I guess Hoke could make his rounds to Caleb Stacey at Oak Hills and AJ Williams at Sycamore (all commits).  Colerain, Sycamore and Oak Hills are all in the same league so they are pretty close to each other.

12/13/2011 - 12:02am Yes, they do...

Michigan's had 3 guys that came from Colerain over the years, BJ Askew,Cobrani Mixon and Mister Simpson.  They've had 4 kids that I can remember that went to Ohio, A few kids that went to Cincinnati. A few that went to Miami University, Kentucky, and the Bobcats.  Another recruit last year was committed to Wisconsin, then was looking at Michigan but ended up at Kent State. I believe grades had a factor in that decision, FB Trayion Durham.

NOTE: i grew up and still live 10 minutes from Colerain High School.  They were one of our rivals throughout school and had numerous family members that went to school there.

12/12/2011 - 9:07am Living in Cincinnati,

I can tell you that there are several sides of the story but this could have been avoided if the referees would have gotten control of the game. I'm not a big fan of either team but Cronin warned the referees NUMEROUS times that they needed to step in and start T'ing guys up.  Well that never happened and we saw the end result.  I thought Gates would be kicked off the team but apparently UC felt differently.  The big difference between Gates and Blount was Gates didn't go after the fans too.  I think Blount would have gotten a lesser punishment but when he attacked the Boise fans, that was the icing on the cake.  Much like the Ron Artest and Detroit Pistons fans.

The part i don't understand is, how does Tu Holloway only get a one-game suspension?  Is it because he's an All-American candidate?  He did A LOT of the provoking throughout the game and his post-game interview was just sad..."People have to understand that this is like Duke-Carolina," Holloway said of the Crosstown Shootout. "I don't think people get that."  No Tu we don't get it because you'd NEVER see a 'bench clearing brawl' between those 2 schools.  They have too much class, respect and DISCIPLINE.  They aren't "gangsters" like you..."That's what you're going to see from Xavier and Cincinnati," Holloway said. "We got disrespected a little bit before the game, guys calling us out. We're a tougher team. We're grown men over here. We've got a whole bunch of gangsters in the locker room -- not thugs, but tough guys on the court. And we went out there and zipped them up at the end of the game."   Okay Tu, maybe he'll be on the new Godfather movies...smh

09/29/2011 - 8:53am Golf Course...

I don't mean to hijack your thread but we are traveling up from Cincinnati, OH and had a question.  What time does the golf course open?

I believe in years past, it was 8am but I just wanted to make sure.  We are leaving around 4am...

09/19/2011 - 9:51am I know...

But there have been plenty of times where someone has thrown out some brief bullets on paywalled stuff.  Just thought the "Brionte told him to take a Michigan visit" was pretty interesting and was hoping to hear a little more about it.

Mods can delete this thread if they want.  It won't hurt my feelings, since I already got negged for just asking a question...

09/01/2011 - 12:39pm Not far fetched...

16. ESPN commentator Urban Meyer punches a Clemson linebacker in the throat while standing on the sideline of Clemson's bowl game against Ohio State, and then smiles a menacing grin at Luke Fickell.

06/17/2011 - 9:59am Rittenberg

With the "They're the best helmets in the Big Ten." comment, it really doesn't do much justice for the winged helmet.  He should have said "they're one of the best helmets, IN THE COUNTRY". Compairing them to only 11 other helmest (including Nebraska), is a slap in the face to best helmets in college football IMO...

06/17/2011 - 9:55am Combination helmet...

I like it but  I still think Michigan's are the BEST in college football as is and don't need to be changed, EVER!

03/28/2011 - 2:58pm Michigan Man,,,

I totally understand your 'Michigan Man' statement.  I don't care where the coach came from as long as he's winning football games.  Unfortunately, not everyone feels that way and the fact that RichRod wasn't winning just made everything that much harder for him.  Then the 'practice gate', WVU buyout, real-estate scandal, bitter players leaving, Detroit FreeP, 0-6 vs. Michigan's 2 biggest rivals, bowl streak snapped, crushed in his only bowl appearance.  RichRod didn't make it easy on himself BUT he handled it like a man and I have all the respect in the world for him.  I will root him on anyday as long as he's not matched up against Michigan.  He didn't throw anyone under the bus, made excuses here and there but who wouldn't.  You get paid to win games and it just wasn't happening under him.

The people that called him a redneck, hillbilly should be ashamed of themselves.  He's was climbing uphill since day one and just couldn't get to the top.  DB had to make a decision and he went a different direction.  I have no hard feelings towards RichRod and his tenure here.  He brought us a Heisman Trophy Candidate and Record Breaking QB in Denard, how could you be mad at that?!?! :)

03/28/2011 - 2:19pm My problem...

With this whole thing is i didn't direct anything towards RichRod.  I was one the BIGGEST RichRod supporters left after everything went down until he was let go.  I was saying that Hoke 'gets it' because he was already here and understand te tradition.  He doesn't have to learn the Victors, Tradition or anything like that.  He's had former players and coaches come out in public with their full support.  RichRod never had that luxury and it didn't help matters at all.  Hoke's already won over a lot of people, fans, alumni, etc and he doesn't have to make that uphill battle from the start.

Hoke knows all about the rivalries, past championships, fight song, and so on, so he's a step ahead of RichRod in that aspect.  That was the point of the email, he doesn't have to learn these things, he's already been through them and he can just recruit and coach football...

03/28/2011 - 1:59pm Avatar

You have 'room' talking about someone's avatar with that FREAK SHOW on yours...Hahaha! You could've put a clown as your avatar and it would have been the same thing, some people have the nerve...smh!

01/25/2011 - 8:04am My guess would be...

Michigan does not have a true fullback on the team.  Moundros was pretty much it but he moved to LB. Why?  Because RichRod had zero use for a FB and when Michigan did use one, we know how that went.  Now that Moundros has graduated, its time to get a 'true FB' on the roster.

Living in Cincinnati, I've seen this kid play.  He is a man-child and Colerain plays against some of the best teams in the state.  You aren't going to see a lot of blocking because Colerain plays the triple-option.  He's either getting the ball or getting hit, hardly any lead blocking.

For being a Wisconsin commit earlier in the year, he was obviously doing something right because we all know how they run the ball.  This will be a big pickup for Michigan, he's a  B.J. Askew type player...

01/21/2011 - 11:25am +1 to the avatar

that is all...

01/21/2011 - 11:17am Obviously...

You've never ridden with my brother, when i say 'a little', that could be an exaggeration! :)
