Would you rather have 6 Super

Would you rather have 6 Super Bowl titles like Pittsburgh or 1 Super Bowl and 8 NFL championships like the Bears? That's an easy choice for me.

Not every coach cares about

Not every coach cares about the NFL. Saban has had plenty of chances to go back and he obviously would rather coach college football. Jim had a taste of success at the NFL level and yet he still chose to came back to college. I have a hard time seeing him leave if he has the same level of success at Michigan. With the CFP, he has a chance to become the first Michigan coach to win an undisputed national title. If he does that and maybe more, he could have a statue next to his mentor. That's something the NFL (you think they'll build a statue of John in Baltimore?) just can't match.

Yep

This is the sort of thing that completely justified Bacon's saying, "Michigan fans aren't happy unless they're unhappy".

I love that quote from JUB because it's 100% true. If Rudock was doing well, I'm sure we would find something else to complain about. It only took 3 games, but people are even complaining about Harbaugh defending his QB. Nothing surprises me... I remember when fans booed Chad Henne when he got injured in the 2007 Oregon game. There will always be idiots in our fanbase.

The only other time

The only other time Michigan’s played BYU you were the starter. Do you have any memories of that game?

“Yeah, I remember it was the Holiday Bowl. I missed it. Broke my arm in the fifth game, I think, and wasn’t playing, so I remember it. We lost. I remember that.”

Bo was really pissed at the refs and BYU...

That rumor was put to rest last season after the Holiday Bowl, where BYU beat Michigan, 24-17. After the game, Schembechler criticized the Cougars' offensive line for holding and, taking on another favorite target, criticized the Southwest Conference officials for allowing it.

"I think BYU should be outlawed," Schembechler said. "BYU is the worst holding team in the United States, and you have my solemn promise I'll never again criticize Big Ten officiating."

Michigan football has been

Michigan football has been making money and we haven't even won a championship since 2004. When we start winning with Harbaugh, the athletic department will be making more money than they know what to do with (especially with the new TV deal coming from the B1G). They could honestly match any offer from the NFL. It will never come down to money!

They just don't get it.
Dan

They just don't get it.

Dan Patrick Show Hour 3 (09-22-15) Dan and the Danettes are joined by Peter King and Tom Verducci.

DP asked Peter King (2:40 mark) today about the best college football setting and King responded with, "The Big House" by far. That's an NFL guy saying that on a national radio show.

So I go down and stand there

So I go down and stand there with him and I said, “Jimmy, you know what? This Warren Pierce comes on and talked about how big you are around here, and I told him, 'There's no coach, there's no player bigger than Michigan Football!'”

Jimmy looked at me and said, “Jon, don't they understand?! It's a privilege, it's an honor to coach for Michigan!” He said, “They don't understand. People don't understand. It's not that. We're trying to do everything we can to bring Michigan back. That's what we're here for.”

That's what Jimmy Harbaugh is here for.

I've worked for five coaches. I worked for Bo, Mo, Lloyd, then Rich and then Brady. And now, I told Jimmy, I said, “Look, Jimmy—I'll do anything you want me to do. You don't even have to give me a dime,” I said. “I'm just here to help Michigan Football.”

And he said, “That's right.”

Were many of you at the game last week? About three weeks ago, two weeks ago, Jimmy called me into his office and said, “I want to show you something.” So he shows me that video before the team comes out on the field. And I don't know if you all saw that or not but in that video he had me with the Little Brown Jug in it. And I cried!

I looked at him and said, “Jimmy! I appreciate that!”

He said, “Jon! You worked for Michigan Football for forty years! You deserve that!” And he said, “You deserve everything, and I'll make sure you get taken care of.”

That's the type of guy we've got for a football coach at Michigan. And I'm really proud of that.

From Falk's interview on 247sports. The NFL media will never get it!
