Agreed.

Agreed.

Oh I agree that 11-1 is more Oh I agree that 11-1 is more likely than 6-6, but I also think 9-3 or 8-4 is far more likely than either. The schedule is brutal and there are still questions to be answered at QB and on the OL.
It's kind of funny that he It's kind of funny that he and Anthony Zettel ended up on the same pro team - in Michigan.
Pretty much.
What will be

Pretty much.

What will be lost in all of that is that 9-3 will be a solid result given the circumstances. 11-1 could happen, so could 6-6. Neither probably will.

Ehh, gassing or drowning an Ehh, gassing or drowning an animal when there are better options available is pretty fucked up. Just shoot the damn things.
Oops. I borked the page. Oops. I borked the page. Sorry folks. Edit: And then locked it in by replying to it instead of just fixing it. I think I might need to stop drinking and go to bed.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I was hoping she would have lost her voice from the other night. No such luck it seems.
Damn Loyola, you scary. Damn Loyola, you scary.
That's just confirmation bias

Re: Your edit - I did further explain what I see as the difference in other replies in this comment chain, if you're interested.

I took your off-hand sarcastic comment for what it was and wasn't bothered by it any. There's certainly no reason for you to be downvoted for it.

Sorry your weekend drinking Sorry your weekend drinking is more important than the 10,000 people who died in alcohol related accidents last year. How many innocent lives is it going to take for you to reinstate the 18th amendment? See how disingenuous you're being?
I absolutely agree with you I absolutely agree with you about handguns. It's insane to me to see all this focus on the AR15 when rifles of all types kill less than 300 people a year while handguns kill 6,000 annually. While I'm all for restrictions on magazine sizes and increased scrutiny on purchases, I worry that any ban on "assault weapons" will be so nebulous so as to make all semi-automatic rifles illegal. I personally would not want to try taking out a pack of feral hogs with a bolt action, for example. Rifles, even the scary looking semi-automatic ones, have legitimate uses that go beyond shooting people. Handguns do not.
And without alcohol we lose And without alcohol we lose nothing as humans other than the convenient ability to get drunk. 10,000 people die in alcohol related road accidents every year. That feels like something we could live without. Would I be arguing in good faith if I asked someone why they love alcohol more than they love their children? That's no different from the argument anti-gun people make. I agree with you about the arguments pro-gun folks make about cars and knives FWIW. They're terrible points.
There absolutely is a

There absolutely is a difference between some sick piece of crap saying "I'm going to shoot the 4 kids who were mean to me, and then go classroom to classroom and shoot 30 more because fuck them too" and a different kind of sick piece of crap saying "I'm going to shoot my parents when they show up to my dorm to pick me up for spring break." They're not even close to being on the same level.

The distinction is randomness The distinction is randomness versus being specifically targeted. Someone intent on killing whoever they can is scarier to me than someone intent on killing a specific person. Obviously they're both tragedies, but one is more of a danger to the public at large.
The distinction, to me at The distinction, to me at least, is randomness. A "school shooter" in the traditional sense targets anyone who happens to be in a particular place at a particular time. Whereas in a case of a shooting that just so happens to have occurred at a school, a specific person is the target. While the deaths of those killed are no less tragic - the incidents are (or should be) less terrifying for the public at large because the victims were not subject to "wrong place, wrong time" randomness. A shitty situation either way, of course.
So this sounds more like a So this sounds more like a shooting at a school instead of a school shooting. That's something, I guess.
So...send the band, too? So...send the band, too?
While it's certainly okay,

While it's certainly okay, it's not often the reality. Men "marry down," women typically don't. A male physician marrying a waitress is more common than a female lawyer marrying a janitor. While that's something that could change and one could argue it should, what's more likely to happen is a glut of sucessful women who are single at 40 asking "where are all the good men?"

The "mens rights movement" The "mens rights movement" such as it is predates the recent rise in white nationalism, but you're right that the Venn diagram is nearly a perfect circle these days. They sought to address an issue that others won't even admit exists, disaffected men flocked to their ranks, and we're all worse off for it.
