Stupid speech to text. I hope that made sense.

Let me get this straight. Their basketball team gets a 5 star from us because they suck in we are to good? While their football team gets every elite recruit I am because we have not done well on the field and they are steam early. Sometimes being a Michigan fan really sucks

I don't know, I don't pay anyone to maintain my pool. I do it all myself. I use 2 bags of shock per week, and algaecide, and pH reducer, and stabilizer, and alkalinity reducer, and chlorine tabs). On top of that is the cost of opening (8-10 bags of shock, algaecide, etc) and the cost of closing. Overall I'm sure I'd spend less if I took my kids to a public pool once a week.

On the plus side, I do have a whole house fan, which is awesome. It is loud, but will cool the house down in a matter of minutes.

I strongly recommend a treadclimber. This is a cross between a treadmill and a stair climber (and an elliptical?). Check YouTube to see how it works. It's very efficient in terms of calorie burning and low impact.

Bells Lager of the Lakes.

The kids just finished a week of Spring Hill camp and they're passed out already. I've got the house to myself and I'm binge watching documentaries that normal people don't care about on Netflix.

Life. Is. Good.

I should clarify since I can't edit that just as others have said, it's perfectly OK to offer them refreshments of any sort.

No. Never tip contractors. And I would also advise waiting at least a week or 2 before deciding whether they actually did a great job.

After yesterday's podcast, I now put far more stock into 247's ratings than the composite. I mean they sh ok ould seriously consider demoting the composite to a side show thing.

People think I'm insane for saying this (in general that's probably a true statement) but I think Dan Leach would be a great play by play voice if he toned down the wacky expressions. If you've ever heard his Detroit Titans calls, he has an amazing voice for that sort of thing.

Oh and he's a huge Michigan homer who has been going to games with his dad since he was little.

07/09/2018 - 10:08am Couple thoughts: I was a…

Couple thoughts: I was a little disappointed to see Brian dismiss Vilain's chances of playing this year so readily. I had a lot of high hopes for him, considering he's not that far behind Solomon in terms of his recruiting accolades.

They've got a legitimate shot at having the #1 defense in the country, even by fancystats.

After reading this preview and seeing all the guys who are projecting to have a big, positive impact on this team, I really people need to step away from the "not enough starz" ledge that some seem to be on. So many of these guys who look like they're going to have a shot at all conference or better ratings were 3.5 star or less recruits. Even Devin Bush was a fringe 4 star yet he plays like a 5 star.

07/08/2018 - 10:10pm Maybe. But then again both…

Maybe. But then again both Har augh and Brown have an established track record of finding low rated guys who turn out to be elite players. I'm not saying that formula works for everyone, but even if 3 or 4 of the lower rates guys turn out to be big impact players that changes the complete look of the class.

07/08/2018 - 2:10pm I've heard him tell that…

I've heard him tell that story too, though I don't believe it. He said he wanted to play for Michigan his whole life. This was a common fact from the beginning of his career at Michigan.

07/08/2018 - 10:43am Since there's no point I'll…

Since there's no point I'll make one. You truly never know which recruit might be the next game changing player, regardless of his recruiting profile.

The one thing I will say, however, is that I believe the scouting is much more advanced, and camps more ubiquitous than they were back in 2003. While guys are still underrated at times, it's much easier for fans to get a read on what type of a player a guy projects to be.
