09/25/2009 - 4:40pm No Worries!

Usually I don't say this about a Michigan game but Michigan will crush Indiana this week. Indiana is the Big Ten's worst team and Michigan is rolling along right now with all the momentum they have and I don't see them having one problem this week. It will probably Michigan's easiest win this year but still they shouldn't look at Michigan State until they get the W. I predict Michigan scoring around 40 or 50 points and I see Indiana squeezing in a couple of touchdowns. It will be nice seeing Michigan at 4-0 and them being their old selves. Great review Brian as always. You should be working for ESPN or something like that because you know football quite well. GO BLUE!!

09/23/2009 - 1:21pm I Agree

That top ten is really good for right now and that top 5 is perfect. Its great that they put Michigan at 19 and if Michigan wins this week and next week they will really move up on how crazy of year this has been in college football.
GO BLUE!!

09/21/2009 - 8:18pm alright

Florida should be number 1 because I don't see any team really that can beat them with all their speed on both sides of the ball. Michigan is in the right spot for now but if they are undefeated going in the Penn State game they deserve to be in the top 15. Other than that everything looks good maybe a few teams could be moved up like Cincy.

09/21/2009 - 7:22pm Great running backs

Michigan has some really great running backs but the starters are still from the Loyd Carr era. I can't wait to see what Kind of Backs Rich Rod has to offer.Go Blue!!

09/21/2009 - 12:12am Great for Carlos

Carlos is a hell of a running back, maybe not as tough as Minor but he is faster and has better moves to burst out into the open like Saturday. Every team should worry about Michigan's run game as they have Minor, Brown, Robinson, and Forcier not to mention some of the other great young backs that played later in the game. I just can't wait to see how they do against a really good big ten team like Penn State or Ohio State. The scary part for opposing Michigan teams is that Michigan is only going to get better as the year goes on. And if the opposing team stops the run Michigan can just throw it up to their great young receivers.
But Michigan has a lot of work to do on the defensive side of the ball. Hopefully they can fix that so they can be contenders for the Big Ten.

09/18/2009 - 11:27am Nice Block and Great Catch

Minor is one hell of a player and what a block that was. He blew that defensive end right out of the way, that is how you block and some of the lineman should watch him. That was a great catch from Odoms and I am glad he fought like hell to get it or the game would have been over. So many key factors in that game.

09/18/2009 - 12:20am Ok

Thanks for sharing that to us and that is pretty cool that you actually know the guy. As you say he is a good leader that is probably why he is a captain this week but I never actually heard his name until now.

09/17/2009 - 11:16pm Go Tate!

Yea I was going to post about Tate Forcier as the player of the week but I figured that I was too late and there is probably a lot of them already. But yea he deserved it as he is a freshman and beat the Fighting Irish his first time playing them which is really great. Can't wait for this week against Eastern Michigan.

09/17/2009 - 11:03pm Jon Conover?

Who is Jon Conover? but the other captains make sense and I hope I see Graham make some big plays this week. As for the injury report Hemingway, Moosman, and McAvoy should stay out for the next two week to get ready for the State game unless they are 100% ready to go. Anybody see that Tate Forcier got voted as the All-American Player of the Week this week. I just seen that watching the Miami game. Pretty neat on how much people are really starting to notice him.

09/17/2009 - 5:27pm Nice

Nice Pics but refs can't call everything.

09/17/2009 - 5:16pm Agreed

Yes I agree with you ND defense wasn't all that great and either was Michigans. They looked the same the whole game. Michigan will face different and better defenses this year so they need to step it up a little but so far they are doing a good job.

09/16/2009 - 1:19pm Pretty Good

I really like your top ten but Ohio State should be in there some where as they played really tough against Southern Cal who is number 2 on your list. I think if Michigan wins their next 4 games they will bounce their way to the top 15.

09/15/2009 - 12:31pm clearly out

I was wondering why Michigan called a timeout and when it came back on I then realized why. I felt it was better to call a timeout then using a review because they might have needed it later on in the game. It was so close but he was out and Notre Dame fans need to stop crying.

09/15/2009 - 12:17pm I like the "Grand Slam"

The "Grand Slam" idea is the best I think from the comments. 4 great things happen on a Saturday. We win and are rivals lose.
Also I think through are next two games D.Robinson should get more reps than he has been getting so he can get more practice in.

09/14/2009 - 7:13pm That is sad

It is really sad for this guy to have to through this at that age. That was a very clutch kick and will easily go down as one one of the greatest memories in the Big House. I hope he pulls through this and best wishes and good luck.

09/14/2009 - 6:36pm Nice

I love the picture of Forcier because right now that is what people think of him right now. May a Forcier be with you!

09/14/2009 - 1:19pm They have time to get healthy

With these two games against Eastern Michigan and Indiana they will have plenty of time to get this injuries healed up. I think they should rest Hemingway next week unless he is 100% ready to go. They need to get all their good players nice and healthy for the State game as that is going to be another big game. I don't think these games are really easy wins but they don't have to be as serious as the Notre Dame game.

09/14/2009 - 1:06pm Wow too many drop-outs

I really do not agree with this at all. I agree where Michigan is at but if Notre Dame is still in it then Michigan should be placed above them. Ok. State should still be in it and Houston is ranked way to high because they had one of those lucky games. Florida should still be number 1 because their last game was sloppy because of the weather. But as the rest of it I kind od agree but there are some better SEC teams that deserve to be in it instead of Cincinatti. I don't know why Georgia is out of it.

09/13/2009 - 6:09pm New Videos

Been looking for some highlight videos to put in my blog but now I see that youtube is got them up so I am going to post them in a bit.

09/13/2009 - 9:41am Cool

That is good to hear and I hope when December comes he picks the Wolverines.

09/11/2009 - 8:17pm Yes make plenty of noise!

Yes all fans going to the game make as much noise as possible to get the game going. Do anything you can because this is a big game.

09/11/2009 - 8:09pm Great Stuff

You definantly know what you are talking about with that breakdown. I completely agree with you that Tate made many mistakes but hopefully he fixed those errors and is ready to go this week. I can't wait for this game. Go Blue!

09/10/2009 - 11:18pm Maize and Blue Beating the Irish

I believe that there will be a lot of scoring with Notre Dame's okay defense and Michigan having a really young defense in some spots especially the cornerbacks. The Irish have really talented receivers that will make some big plays which in the end could hurt them with how good clausen is. But Michigan is at home this year with a lot of momentum from last week with that being their first win in their opening week in 3 years. Look for Michigan to come out strong and make some big plays with Forcier and Robinson with an addition of Minor. On the defensive of side, I think Graham will make a few big plays this week because I know he wants to beat Notre Dame in his Senior year. My prediction is Michigan winning 38-31. Close game but Michigan will find a way to win. GO BLUE!

09/10/2009 - 10:37pm This isn't good but at least Minor is back

Well this ain't going to help Michigan out very much as he was the main target last week and I thought he looks like the best receiver this year. Hopefully Stonum steps up this week and Minor runs really good even though Carlos Brown looked pretty good last week.
