Does anyone else find these board posts shitting on our rivals' draft prospects embarrassing? As if we've had a slew of first rounders over the recent years...
Resident at Hopkins currently, though not in radiology. Went to UofM for undergrad and JH for med school and now residency. The program is top notch with approachable, professional, and collaborative faculty. People who shit on Baltimore have likely never spent much time in the city and around it's people. Great beer, great people, and some great neighborhoods. It is vastly different from Ann Arbor in terms of safety and patient population, however.
The bottom line is that Baltimore is a public health disaster and some parts are actually worse off than a third world country. For better or for worse, there is no better place for a resident to train. I'm guessing radiology residents in Ann Arbor aren't going to be seeing as much TB, OI from uncontrolled HIV/AIDs, and the occaisonal patient whose neck radiograph has 30+ broken needles from trying to mainline...
That being said, you could likely go anywhere or do anything from both programs.
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Harbaugh pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
There are dozens of different arrhythmias. Some are genetic or congenital, while others are due to degenerative changes in heart muscle tissue. He probably has an accessory electric pathway in his heart that is short-circuiting his normal heartbeat. She will undergo an ablation procedure which should simply eliminate that pathway.
We would do custom jerseys, but anytime a name was involved, we checked it against the current roster (the rule applies to current players only). We were pretty careful because, as the official retailer of the athletic dept., they could get in trouble if we sold something like that.
That being said, i'm sure other non M-Den businesses would put the name on.
