Springfield, Ohio here... ...still no book ☹️ I'm guessing my proximity to Columbus must have led someone to believe I was trolling for kindling. I'm not.
I too would like to email you What is in fact the best address for you good sir?
Typo discovered And corrected quickly. Pet peeve.
Interesting info (1st time commenter) Allow me to say first that I've been reading this blog, and the boards, for years. Always good, sometimes great reading. Anyway, I must state that there will be some vagaries intentionally placed in this comment, at the request of the individual whom provided me the details. I live in Central Ohio, and my brother is an engineer in the city with which we were born and raised. Yesterday, while investigating old mapped info on sewer manholes, he and three coworkers were sent to a residence inhabited by a man, whom after some back and forth regarding the OSU hat worn by one of the four, declared that he had been friends with Jack Harbaugh since they coached together many years prior, and the two kept in contact quite frequently. After being told by my brother that I am a diehard UM supporter, he openly and freely stated that he and Jack had spoken just days prior, and that the family was not at all in favor of the chaos besieging the program currently. So much so that, at the finish of their collective seasons, and under the understanding from "friends" that an AD change is not only imminent but a foregone conclusion, Jim would be entering his name into the candidacy pool, and would almost overwhelmingly be chosen as the new HC. The only potential hiccup, as stated by the old man, would be the potential salary, which he said would take somewhere around $7m/year. My brother, always the pessimist and jokester, says he stated to the man that while he was amused by the story (and more than likely a bit frightened by the idea), he'd have a hard time believing the tale. That's when the man showed him a photo of the two from their coaching days, joined by the others on their staff. Once my brother arrived home, he contacted me, and through some interweb searching, were able to confirm the man had indeed coached with Jack, at the place and during the time he had described. Now, I'm sure I know what is to follow from many of you, considering the voracity I've seen directed at many whom have shared their insights on matters without declaring who it is that is their source, not to mention the fact that as you will see, I just officially joined tonight. Believe me, I know it sounds sketchy, and I myself would probably roll my eyes a bit while reading this, were it to have been shared by another. And that's fine. Trust me when I say that, while I myself wasn't educated at the university I care for so dearly, and have only had the pleasure (or displeasure, considering I brought my two oldest sons there for their first game just two Saturdays ago when I thought my wife and I had selected a sure fire winner of a game; both kids started crying at 27-7 and asked to leave BTW) of being in Ann Arbor a few times, I am in no way, shape, or form attempting to stir a pot that, quite frankly, doesn't need any more hands on the spoon. Thanks for taking the time to read my first contribution to the community. I hope that you all have a good night, and that we all have our day to celebrate this potentially fantastic development soon. Go Blue from Ohio P.S. Wrote this via my phone, so my bad if there are any blatant typos.
