|10/31/2013 - 10:42pm||I didn't go to Michigan...||
But I may get my grad degree from there if I ever feel I can handle the debt of tuition for the executive MBA. I have lived in Michigan all my life and my grand parents were alumni thus I was raised by Michigan fans to only become a Michigan fan every since I knew what a football was. Not just a fan of Michigan football but a fan of the school...die hard Michigan through and through! I am proud of that regardless of how it looks to Sparty or anyone else for that matter. Go Blue Beat MSU.

But I never bought tix to watch Chauncey play but definitely would have to see Trey. Maybe I represent a small minority due to my Go Blue obsession.
|07/30/2013 - 6:04pm||While I agree they could have done much worse...||
I have one question. Do you think Jennings will help sell as many tickets in the state of Michigan as would have the drafting of our beloved Trey?
|07/30/2013 - 5:48pm||This was my first thought as well..||
Then my second thought was at least Jennings is still young and has shown flashes of ability at the NBA level already. That's just me trying to rationalize the perceived lack of competence this front office has shown lately in my humble opinion. Still feels like a borderline playoff team at best.

Does anyone know when tickets will be mailed out? I feel like they have been here by this time in the years passed.
|01/26/2013 - 3:31pm||sorry if already posted||
You can watch the announcement live at www.timesdispatch.com. That is all.
|07/24/2012 - 7:15am||I kind of like them||
Plus it wasn't all DB and Adidas. If you read the article, the seniors helped design this uniform. I like the traditional jerseys too buy its fun to switch it up from time to time. No matter what the jersey looked like, many of you would have disliked them simply because it was another new design. There is nothing wrong with a little change up from time to time IMO, however maybe we are doing it a bit too frequently lately. I still kind of like these.

Stonum just tweeted that he just graduated and is getting ready to play his last year of college ball. Commence arguing about character, rejoicing, speculation and everything else. Go!

Troy Woolfolk is listed among players trying out for the Detroit Lions! I hope he makes it! Someone who can start a thread should post this.

|04/14/2012 - 4:54pm||Please remember that...||
Please remember that only a handful of our incoming class was on display today. Those that enrolled early were able to participate. We are making evaluations on an incomplete team do keep that in mind. Guys like Pipkins, Darboh, Jenkins Stone, Norfleet, Richardson, Magnuson, and others have a chance to step up and become starters or provide the depth that many of us saw as lacking today. I was most impressed by how unhappy Hoke seemed with the team in general after the practice. The coaches are not satisfied, as they shouldn't be at this point, and the Michigan standards are still extremely high. To me this is a good sign considering this is year 2 of Hoke's program and culture change. I'm guessing the standards were a bit lower in year one with the understanding that the entire team didn't know what to expect last year. I think we will be just fine and our defense will be better than last year.
|03/24/2012 - 8:19am||The difference||
To me between Burke and Morris is that Burke seems more like an NBA point guard, especially one with great upside in comparison. He could certainly use another year to get better but I don't blame the kid for checking into his draft status. Look at Sullinger, he didn't go when he was hottest and his stock dropped. Burke has to consider this as something that could happen to him so he needs to monitor his status and strike while the iron's hot. He also needs to consider the possibility of injury if he were to return. Bottom line though, if he hears first round pick, he's gone. I think if he hears second round he stays. Morris should simply tell him "you have a chance to win something special at Michigan or you can end up in the D league like me"

If he can play WR as good as he looked in the video posted earlier I am all for it!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=5BAdmLPyVIo
Dude looks like a beast and we should have used him at WR long ago! Some of those catches make him look like he is a better WR than QB. Anything to get our most talented athletes on the field at the same time. He doesn't have to be blazing fast to be a decent wide out with his size. Just go up and get it big fella!
