05/10/2018 - 10:54pm Kareem

I hate to compare players, because it lessens others.  I think Harbaugh said something to that effect.  They are both great players, but I really think that Kareem gets overlooked as a great player of his era.  LeBron is the best currently.  MJ was the best in his time.  They are both different, and both great.

Kinda like the Tom Brady vs. Joe Montana arguement.

03/28/2018 - 9:38pm I picked up a full kit a 2

I picked up a full kit a 2 years ago, it 's great.  But the design this year, just not my thing.

For anyone wondering about sizing, just get a tape measure and follow the sizing charts.

02/02/2018 - 8:03pm Depends on what you like.

Depends on what you like.  Founders is generally solid across the board.  M-43 and Boss Tweed are both great from Old Nation.

01/31/2018 - 7:24pm Think back to the Fall of 1981

Neither one of my parents went to college.  In fact, I was the first in my family to graduate from college (Hope '96).  We would watch sports on TV, sure, the Lions and Billy Sims on Sunday, Tigers baseball whenever it was on, especially at my grandparents house.

However, back in the fall of 1981, I was in First grade, and one of my good friend, Derek, was a huge Michigan fan.   I still remember to this day, our First Grade teacher was a Notre Dame fan.  Derek was egging her on about the Michigan-Notre Dame game coming up, and the bet was for a dozen cookies.  I wanted in on that action, so I said I was good for cookies as well.  I honestly don't remember if I even watched that game, but on Monday morning, a dozen cookies were sitting on desk.

I've been a fan ever since.  Didn't get to a game until Lloyd's last year, and didn't get to the Big House until RichRod's first year (The Snow/Sleet/Rain game against Northwestern), but am still a fan.

01/02/2018 - 10:58pm Never get too high, never get

Never get too high, never get too low.  Give yourself 24-48 hours to celebrate a win, or be pissed off about a loss, then move on.

10/13/2017 - 8:07am In.

08/11/2017 - 8:30pm No mention of Peters?  O'Korn

No mention of Peters?  O'Korn looked lost vs. Indiana...

08/11/2017 - 7:13am Finally Friday

Short day at work, and a semi-long weekend!

07/29/2017 - 8:00pm Yes

About the only thing that would cause me to lose my fandom is if similar things happened at Penn State with Sandusky and if they hired someone that did with Hugh Freeze did... I've always appreciated Michigan as a school/team that did things right.  I'll also add the Tressel firing.. the team needs to do things the right way.  That's the way Michigan has always been, and always should be.

06/14/2017 - 6:58pm I went with white, because I

I went with white, because I remember Harbaugh wanting to bring those back prior to his first game, against Utah.  Give Harbaugh whatever he wants.

05/04/2017 - 8:41pm The Moth Radio Hour is great

The Moth Radio Hour is great for stories.

I like DecodeDC for a behind the scenes look at Poltics.

Art of Manliness for general stuff, some I already knew, some I was able to learn.

10/12/2016 - 8:17pm Great Lakes Jersey

Love it.  Hope the sizing is close to accurate.  Ordered the Great Lakes jersey and some bibs

10/02/2016 - 9:52pm I'm not an expert

But it seems alot like golf.  I've heard that for every guy out on the PGA tour, there are 20 guys with the physical skills to golf that well, but don't have the mental toughness to putt/chip/drive in front of crowds when the pressure is on.  A good friend of mine is a good golfer, but he chokes every time we put a single dollar on closest to the green on a par 3.  It's much more mental than physical.

09/02/2016 - 8:19pm What I tend to do is park

What I tend to do is park near 7th st and Scio Church road.  I then take Scio Church road out to Zeeb, and then North on Zeeb to 94.  I am heading West though, not sure where you are trying to get back to.

12/02/2015 - 9:02pm Hmmmm. can't get the MGoStore

Hmmmm. can't get the MGoStore code to work.

11/18/2015 - 7:15pm There are games already

There are games already scheduled, what, like 10 years out with Texas and/or Oklahoma.  There would also be a need to figure out Home and Home, so that was split.  Or do they re-shuffle the rankings every other year?

11/08/2015 - 9:36pm Yes, thank you... too many

Yes, thank you... too many Mad Hatters watching football today.

11/08/2015 - 8:29pm Basically, MSU does control

Basically, MSU does control thier own destiny.  If they win out, they do have wins over UM and OSU at that point, and OSU does control thier own destiny.  UM needs OSU to beat MSU and then UM needs to beat MSU.

11/06/2015 - 10:08pm We will try to stop by!!

We will try to stop by!!

10/14/2015 - 9:49pm Nope.  Feburary is the worst

Nope.  Feburary is the worst month for sports, at least when the Superbowl doesn't fall in Feburary, even then MOST of Febuary is horrible for sportswatching.  March has March madness, and April has the start of Baseball.  Some may argue that Baseball is dying.. but March Madness is a sign that Spring is just around the corner.  Nope Nope Nope.

10/10/2015 - 8:03am I'lll be there.  It'll be the

I'lll be there.  It'll be the wife's first trip to the Big House.  Happened to find tickets on the website on Thursday.

09/08/2015 - 9:40pm I still see an 8 win team.

I still see an 8 win team.  Maybe 9, if everything falls right.  I picked 8 wins at the start, and will stick with it, NW could be tough, but it's at home, and PSU should be easier, but that's on the road.  I see 3-1 going into conference play.

09/04/2015 - 12:33am First D-1 college game--

First D-1 college game-- Halloween 1998, PSU-Illinois.  A good friend of mine was getting his Masters at Penn State, so went out to watch a game.  It was a shutout, 28-0.

First Michigan game-- 2007-- after the Horror, Michigan at Northwestern.  Henne came in slightly injured to save the day on the road.  Little to no tailgating.

First game at the Big House?  11/15/2008-- Michigan Northwestern.  I've never been that wet or cold.  Cool to watch the Victor's march, but it was a bad game all the way around.

09/04/2015 - 12:25am Much better than last year.

Much better than last year.  Michigan scored on Offense against a good team.  TWICE!  Have to learn and coach up from mistakes, and I'm more convinced that'll happen more this year than it ever did last year.

08/16/2015 - 3:51pm I'm probably the most excited

I'm probably the most excited to see the Running Back.  Is Ty Issac all that?  How healthy is Johnson, he looked good last year until the injury.  Probably 2nd most excited to see who is at QB.  My gut says Rudock.

07/10/2015 - 12:48pm If you've tried the Brewery

If you've tried the Brewery Vivant burger, I strongly encourage you to get to Fennville, MI and go to Salt of the Earth and get ther burger there.  Amazing.

07/07/2015 - 10:08pm SEC Non Conference Schedule

SEC Non Conference Schedule -- 40%. Come on, Alabama playing Presbatryian Blue Hose and Western Carolina?

MSU-- 25%

OSU-- 25%

Oklahoma-- 10%

10/07/2014 - 10:29pm I'll do my best to be there.

I'll do my best to be there.  I try to make one Michigan game per year.  $20 at the door is a deal to meet those Michigan greats.
