I ran midline in high school, I ran midline in high school, though it was out of the i-formation. Assuming it is ran the same, the hardest part is not the read. The tailback has to block the play-side linebacker. If he does not make the block of the ILB rushes the line, the play is squashed.
I wish I got the big ten I wish I got the big ten network through my cable provider. I'm so stoked for this year man--any word on the kickers though? That is a big concern for me
Sooo am I the only one who thinks we are going to upset Penn State at home this year? I personally think its a trap game
Walk-ons help but I hope they don't start in the major positions. If a walk-on could make a major impact on kick-off or kick-return and allow a recruit to redshirt, I dig it.
You have to admit sometimes people are so dumb sometimes they make you laugh out loud
I don't think he would leave for anything in the south. That is too big of a change and away from his midwest comfort zone. He is also turning the MSU program around a bit and is doing the job at recruting. However, if Weeble-Wobble Weis has a bad year and Urban Meyer says no, I think he would be a candidate for the ND job. In my opinion he would have to consider that.
I love Michigan's tradition but it can't help us book those big named teams. Lets face it-2008 took away some of Michigan's luster. I don't think many teams are jumping at a chance to play a 3-9 team when they don't know how they will play in 2009. While I personally think 2009 will be a great season, other people are less optimistic. We will just have to wait and see how this plays out.
It comes down to speed and UCONN never had any. They couldn't match up with the speed RR was putting on either side of the ball. Pat White and Slaton were too much to match up against. If UCONN stopped them, they had to deal with Brock Lesnar playing fullback. Damn freak.
uconn This if my first post so no one attempt to kill me please. I am from CT and believe me UCONN is a program on the rise. They hired a new offensive coordinator from Akron, I believe his name is Moorehead. He runs a fast paced, pass happy spread which is going to be controlled by Zach Frazier, a transfer from our beloved ND. This year they are going to be down because it is a brand new offense and the kids are younger than last year. Their defense usually ranks in the top 30 of most major statistical categories so come 2010 they are going to be better than most people expect. I realize UCONN is not the ideal opponent but it is what it is.
