10/11/2009 - 12:54am I don't know...

what happend to that post that was totally ripping RR earlier. BUt I had to go away and calm down before I replied to it. I have ... now whoever you are(or whereever that diary weny) fuck you.

Now, I get into the game as much as the next passionate fan, but I never thought this game was RR fault. He pulled Tate because he was not playing well. It happens. Maybe earlier??? Who knows. Could Tate have pulled the last drive off??? Not based on the previous drives - he was trying to do too much (my opinion).

This season, starting 4-0, gave us all great hope. But w/ a YOUNG team you take steps forward and backward. Even with the loss... I think they took steps forward. Hell, even Herbstriet was very complimentary about us at the end and throughout... Go Blue!

09/23/2009 - 8:23am UGA v. Auburn in Athens -

UGA v. Auburn in Athens - 2003

Best TAILGATE experince evr. They do it up in the SEC. But still does not beat the whole Big House atmosphere!

09/21/2009 - 4:59pm I was in that Section

18, row 68 seat 31 & 32... I did not see it but that is BS. I stood when everyone else did and did not have a problem. But on 2nd thought there were a lot of snobby older people.

One lady said: "BO would not have played this many freshman." And I said if they were this good he would, and she gave me a look like I could suck it. Her husband just looked at me like I was an idiot...

So I guess I could see that... for crying out loud it's not the opera.

09/15/2009 - 3:38pm I am a MI Nat'l Guardsman....

I am a MI Nat'l Guardsman.... How about you give them to combat veterans or someone that is home on leave from Astan/Iraq?

Not me, but the real hero's...

09/15/2009 - 2:14pm It happens in the media

It happens in the media everyday whether it's sports or not. But yes it is sad.

09/15/2009 - 2:11pm I saw a lot of stuff by ND

I saw a lot of stuff by ND during that game that was not called (unnecessary roughness, holding, mugging, grabbing, pinching, etc...). That stuff happens... A lot of times retaleation won't be called if the Ref knows both have a part in it (unless it's really bad). Weis is just getting his pudding out.

When I played DIII ball people were always doing stuff. I have had more bod hair pulled out during one game my Jr. year than I had when I had my back waxed last year...

Weis is trying everything he can to deflect heat.

09/15/2009 - 2:05pm Good point... no lost faith.

Good point... no lost faith. I just jump straight to the defense of RR. I think he is a great man on and OFF the field. The evidence is there.

09/15/2009 - 1:55pm Amen..... I agree 100%. Go

Amen..... I agree 100%. Go Blue. Man am I excited. After the last game I bought tickets to this weekends game because I need to be there to see EVERYTHING hands on. I want to see the Victors March, the excitement that has come, and the team play - in person.

Yes it is EMU, but who cares this is fun and we should all have fun w/ this no matter the record at the end of the year. It is, after all, a game!

09/15/2009 - 1:49pm He should see the ball no

He should see the ball no less than 20 - 25 times a game.. evident in the ND game... no way they are down by 3 at half if he saw the ball more. There was a time where they did not run a running back for a while.

09/15/2009 - 1:35pm So what we are all saying is

So what we are all saying is that Kelly is better than Rich Rod? Great faith!!!! Rich Rod is and will always be the man.

08/24/2009 - 2:31pm I was in H. S.

when I became a die hard fan of U of M. It was the summer of 1994... I grew up in a family where my Dad (sorry ladies, the man dictates the "Fandom") never had a clear cut favorite. I have pictures in my youth where I had MSU & UM clothes on. I went back and forth as any kid would... I went to MSU Basketball camps (never football thank God), etc. But when My HS coach selected me (it was an honor to go- he would not let just everyone go) in my Jr. summer to go to UM football camp I took it (my HS coach is very well known from the west side of the state - D1... Rockford.)He would only take ones that he thought could play at the college level (be it 1, 2, or 3).

I had the HONOR of hearing BO speak... and getting to run on the field from the tunnel, making an int. in MI stadium, etc.. I became hooked. I will always be a M fan... I will never leave them as they have never left me.

Go Blue. It is a part of who I became, and the values I will teach my children.

03/30/2009 - 1:47pm AMEN!

AMEN!

03/30/2009 - 8:46am And this is what we voted

And this is what we voted for? A man that can tell private companies how to run... lesson learned - do not take bail out money and keep gov't. out of the pockets of all. Hell, the gov't can't run anything (outside of the military) that works (ss, amtrak, USPS, etc...) Thanks no checks and balances having government!

If this is what people voted for then we have a seriously uneducated country!

03/20/2009 - 1:45pm if the campaigning was over

if the campaigning was over why was he on leno, and still doing town ahll meetings? that si all he knows how to do.

03/20/2009 - 1:44pm oh and the teleprompter...

oh and the teleprompter... heaven forbid he speak on his own.

03/20/2009 - 10:51am +1

+1 (that is all he has)

03/06/2009 - 8:22am College. They were recruiting

College. They were recruiting me pretty good. I actually could have won a ring if I went there (they won the MIAA in 97 i think). but oh well. Going to shcool in Chicago was a blast! Where did you play?

03/05/2009 - 2:58pm Concordia University... it is

Concordia University... it is about 7 min west of Downtown Chicago. Sister school to the one in A2. We were not very good. But when I went to Adrian and the players were like "we go to Toledo all the time..." I was like Chicago will be a nice place to spend 4 yrs.

03/05/2009 - 10:02am The HS players cannot

The HS players cannot participate in practices or be on campus unless visiting (for recruting purposes). I played D3 and the week after I committed I had the workout program in my mailbox, so it is safe to assume that the kids in HS have something similar (if not the same) to what the team is doing.

I believe (if I am wrong I am sure someone will corect me) that Barwis is not considered a member of the Football Team coaching staff per the NCAA so he can be with them when they are working out, and so on... The players do have unofficial workouts like 7 on 7, etc... that the coachs cannot be at (but they usually are "around"). I cannot remember the exact rules on contact but I believe that they cannot have any football type activities that they (the coaches) are running.

01/27/2009 - 2:53pm I get your sense of humor

I get your sense of humor regarding this, but please that is a disrespectful thing to do to compare the two (even in a comedic sense). What the men at Omaha did was unspeakably worse.

01/08/2009 - 3:21pm NCIS

What? An abomination? I love that show (I own all of the seasons). But I guess it's not for everyone...

11/21/2008 - 4:23pm Or maybe we could all meet

Or maybe we could all meet and do this! Yes, to this song!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9LhScThq84

11/21/2008 - 4:09pm Amen, there is this guy that

Amen, there is this guy that is in my Lion's Club, he is on my shit list for eternity. Especially if/when he starts all of a sudden changing his tune next year!

11/21/2008 - 3:43pm You are correct. I hear it

You are correct. I hear it everyday from other M fans that just rip the program. I have been mad, disappointed, and confused this year but I have still tuned in, wore my M stuff, and been a fan. I was at the WI game and my emotions went up from the bottom like everyone else's BUT we stayed and supported- that is what WE need to do!

This is why they play the game! If you look at all the games this year... we have been there. The biggest thing I take from this year is that nobody has quit, they fight. That IS coaching, and good coaching. Coaching is more than what we SEE on Saturdays. Go Blue!

11/21/2008 - 11:19am At some point you are not

At some point you are not what you were, and then you are nothing. It's at this point people start putting themselves together, once you have had that year where you do too much of something—drink, play video games, feel sorry for yourself, brick threes, fumble—feel terrible after, and then do too much of that something again.

This is me! At 32 I have decided I needed something to get me back on "track." Not that I am off, have a great paying job (that I don't have to do to much at), a great family (wife, 14 mo. old), etc... But something has been missing, so I joined the National Guard. We shall see what this journey brings!

11/21/2008 - 9:20am And allow extra time for

And allow extra time for traffic on 23 as you get closer to C-bus there are a ton of lights and the traffic is heavy, so for game day expect a lot more!

11/21/2008 - 8:14am I used to live outside columbus...

Take 23 south, to 75. 75 & 23 are the same until Findlay. At the big sugar tanks there is an exit for 23 south to C-bus. STAY on that all the way into town. It will turn into High Street. From High Street you should be able to get right to the stadium. High Street runs right through (or next to) the OSU campus.

Have a great trip. I vowed in 2000 to never watch a game there again. I went to the PSU/OSU game and was disgusted by the fans. the ones I was with knew I was from MI and were cool with me. But my sister came down to see us in 2002 and went to THE GAME w/ her boyfriend at the time and was really treated horribly my the OSU fans. Plus 90% of the people down there are a holes when it comes to us vs. them. Not a surprise to anyone!

10/01/2008 - 3:50pm spot on

Spot on sir! I would like a hat made up ASAP! Brian, another item for your store? I have a promotional guy across the hall...

09/29/2008 - 2:09pm I think everyone needs to

I think everyone needs to take a deep breath... It is a game! Games are what we play to have fun, no? As I looked at my entry I noticed that I said "I was wondering why I paid for it..." All I meant was that I was stunned and I expected the team to be better than what they showed in the first half, and was disappointed. Yes disappointed. Who was not disappointed? If you say you were'nt you are lying.  I DO NOT BOO, AND NEVER WILL BOO A BUNCH OF KIDS - because I have been there and it sucks.

I never stop watching a game, or leave a game no matter what. I SUPPORT the people distracting my life for 3+ hours every saturday. I get into it too much and that is a fault of mine (my wife makes that clear every Saturday).

But what makes this country great is that we can have these arguments!

09/29/2008 - 1:39pm Well, I did not leave! It

Well, I did not leave! It was just an expression... I would love to stay for every game and go to every game, etc... just an expression. I would love to go to more than just one game a year, but that is my limit as of now!

09/29/2008 - 1:29pm I agree! It was a great one

I agree! It was a great one that will live on forever!

I was so glad I was in that stadium to see it in person!

GO BLUE!

09/29/2008 - 1:19pm I was...

also taken back by the booing. I was stunned, not by the booing but by the play of the team. I too sat motionless and speechless from the play. The booing made me even more "still." I kept thinking ok what am I going to hear on Monday and yadda, yadda, yadda... Booing is for the professionals not the kids... I AGREE WITH THE ABOVE ON THE BOOING!

I was wondering why I paid all that money to watch this... then 30 minutes later I was calling myself a douche bag because I did not DVR the game before I left GR. That was my "asshat" moment!

Oh and a side note - if you are fat... that is no reason those siting next to you have to feel like they are in a vice grip because your fat ass can't fit in the seat - "that I paid for" (like the rest of us got in free)- to you you are an asshat! You were nice though when i asked if I could sit in your lap... if my wife was not with me we would have had aome more words - you fat ****!

Not that I amstill mad though! Great TEAM win... I think we just saw a coming together for the ages! I am still speechless so that is a s good as it gets right now!

09/28/2008 - 10:32am after seeng that game in

after seeng that game in person and how W was loading the box... I would have to agree with you! The only way this o-line is going to get any movement up front is to take the other teams line the way it wants to go. Use their momentum against them. I

09/28/2008 - 10:25am It was..

the worst best game I have been to in a long time! The place was like a funeral parlor turned circus.. AWESOME> I think they gelled a a team during this game. And man the D looked like they were taking heads out there (except for afew plays).

The defense kept us in the game.  Just so proud to be a M fan today!!!!

09/25/2008 - 9:27am I would like this...

to be a stuffed head that I can hang in my M man cave above the big screen! I could see it being a little more agressive and mean! But all in all I think it is very cool! Hat and T-Shirt would be cool also!

08/29/2008 - 1:45pm she has more experience ker

she has more experience ker right thumb than obama has in his whole life. could SOMEONE somewhere tell me what he has done? I really want to know! Hope and change are great, but I believe that Castro ran on that also...

being a LEADER of a state is more than being a senator for 141 days, and not showing up to his own committee meetings. THAT IS WHY IN YEARS PAST YOU DID NOT HAVE A CONGRESSMAN/SENATOR win the WH. They are not leaders yet they are followers and that is on both sides of the aisle.

08/26/2008 - 5:06pm LMAO

That may have been the funniest thing I have read since obamas last speech!

Great find...

08/13/2008 - 3:51pm if you're too stiff it is

if you're too stiff it is hard to get off of blocks and such. if they play loose and get good movement under them they can get off or beat the block before getting beat - but at this point in camp it is not surprising to see this... they have to get used to the pads again

07/31/2008 - 1:07pm I will be looking forward to I will be looking forward to the aid stations - you bet! I am looking for a 4 1/2 hr finish... or really just to finish!
07/16/2008 - 11:44am Obviously blue the people you Obviously blue the people you are going to vote for are extremely competent in how to do things... have we been attacked since 9/11? Oh, and how is that MI economy doing under your party; how is the city of Det. doing under your party, and how about New orleans under you party. But you guys have the answer's don't you! Blame it all on Bush - even when we have the power we will say it is all his fault. They get away with it because morons like you sit there and fall for it. When you get out of college and have a real job - let me know if your taxes are too low. How about all of the FREE people in Iraq and Afg? I guess they dont matter to you do they... i love how the Dem party in this country feels they know the best. you are all (not all - just the ones i know) elitest snobs... YOUR PARTY - and ALL government - is the problem. Getthe hell out of our way and let us prosper.
07/16/2008 - 11:24am grow the F up... I do not

grow the F up... I do not know where you think %20 of anything is a large majority...

Bet you think that democrats in power since 2006 have no control over the gas prices either.... it's always somebody elses fault not theirs... they have good intentions...

Grow up...

07/15/2008 - 4:07pm Pretty messed up!! They

Pretty messed up!! They really edit well don't they!

07/12/2008 - 5:09pm Tackel, Tackle Tackle... All they need to do is have their head up, and put their head on the ball, wrap their arms, and drive the legs.. Fundementals that for some reason seemed to be lost... Oh and yes pursuit (proper) angles would be nice. Although after last year i would just be happy with getting somone on the ground!
07/12/2008 - 3:08pm The sports writers are The sports writers are becoming no different then the rest of the print (and tv for that matter)media, it is always America that is the bully or the assclown or what have you. No different than someone ripping M all the time in the paper.. whatever BS they can get away with they will right. For instance USA Today has at least 10-15 negative articles to one positive (regardless of section). Where has the optimisim gone...?
07/11/2008 - 3:44pm What about clearance

What about clearance williams...? good for three plays a year

I stand corrected - somebody beat me to it

07/11/2008 - 3:16pm I heard Chris balas of I heard Chris balas of thewolverine.com on the huge show the other day saying the rumors were that he was going to stay on the team but that he would be suspended for half the season and meet w/ barwis EVERY morning
07/11/2008 - 3:01pm I think if newsome decommits I think if newsome decommits Tate will be here in a heart beat. Plus the beav is coming (that sounds good huh)so that could be good. Anyone think Feagin will be good. He seems to be like the diamond in the rough! tate looks superb as well, plus I heard Newsome has not had some good camps...
07/11/2008 - 2:56pm Very good post! I loved Very good post! I loved reading the Shonte Peoples post... I remember he was great on field. off of it WOW...!
07/10/2008 - 3:37pm I believe that isreal iis the

I hope you mean that he is the one being railed against

07/10/2008 - 12:18pm You are all correct... this is a rotting business. They don't just do this in sports. It is in everything, politics (please show me the evidence they are not propping up a certain candidate), business, hell even movies. You always enjoy the movies that reviewers say are horrible, and vice-versa. Ths means we have the right coach! I hate the media when they sensationalize everything and then leave out the FACTS and evidence to the contrary...
