I’m looking at this like the situation with Cade. Won the Big Ten for Michigan and wasn’t guaranteed a starting gig the following season. Maybe McCord was just too soft to compete for the spot again.
Maybe we are learning our lesson? Didn’t Harbaugh basically tell them to piss off with the burger thing? Not sure whatever happened with that situation but seemed like nothing.
Flew out on a Sunday at 7AM. Over an hour to navigate the two lines to just check a bag (one to get the self service sticker and the other to drop it off). Felt like holiday weekend travel and it was just another Sunday in the summer. Security was also about a 30 min adventure for non-TSA pre-check.
I mean there are some real life unicorns on here who are just here for the content, commentary, comedy and don’t feel the need to add their two cents every time an argument gets recycled... just saying....

I vaguely recall during the deconstruction process some students stole the huge university seal and rolled it down the street to their house. I think they ended up returning it. Too bad as it would've made a nice addition to someone's man cave.
Agree - the Michigan social media and PR people and this whole board needs to get about making this a story. The worse this looks, and the more coverage it gets the less likely the NCAA decides to look like the bad guys in this and are more likely to let Ole Miss wear that badge. Then again, it’s the NCAA so who knows...
Was all sour about it the rest of the day. Then watched my 7yr old daughter's soccer team lose by 8 goals, saw them all congratulate the other team, get excited about post game snacks, enjoy snacks together and not one of them gave a damn 20 min after it was over. Made me realize sometimes it's better to think like a child....
Speculation...Wasn't Gary wearing his backpack on both shoulders on the Inside Michigan show? I'm sure it could've been light but assuming it wasn't empty wouldn't someone likely avoid doing that with a dislocated shoulder? Have no idea but maybe an iota of hopeful indication it isn't too bad...
Kutcher is one of the best in the country. Saw him after taking a decent shot playing beer league hockey. Ended up with my 6th concussion as a result. Guy is as good as they get (was team Neurologist for the US Winter Olympic team, head concussion doc for NBA, etc.) and is a really nice gent as well.
If you need to see someone and are in the Brighton area, highly recommend him. Hope your girl gets on the mend.

When I tossed a comment into a huge thread with my lowly point total about some historical perspective, I never once thought it would lend itself to something as fantastic as this analysis. Kudos to you good sir and your efforts!

Chip Kelly suspended LaGerrette Blount for the whole season for his sucker punch to the Boise State player after their game ended. While play had just stopped in this instance, it's still just a cheap shot after the game is basically over.
We just had our third kid and moved my six year old's car seat back to the third row of our Acadia. Apparently she has been telling people at kindergarten now that we have three kids we ran out of room and she has to ride in the "trunk." Bit of an awkward conversation was had with her teacher.

The whole "we own the series" stance is tired. There is no question they have dominated the last decade for reasons we all know. That said, acting like Harbaugh has no room to say anything because of the last decade is equally dumb. He personally has lost once as a coach and won as a player. Hopefully it becomes a mute point when he has a winning record as a player and a coach against them.
Everyone posts what is currently showing up in their banner ads....one of the more driven posters can tally it all up and summarize just what this blog audience really looks like.....on the otherhand...we may not want to know....
Is there as much chatter about Nick Saban's unfinished business in the NFL with every possible NFL job opening? I get maybe not Urban and assuming he's just a college guy, but Saban did the college -> NFL -> college thing too? Maybe I'm just not paying attention to the non-Michigan stories out there....
That is likely who he is referring to and it isn't some sort charitable/disability situation or anything. He's very involved with the program, has been for years, graduated from U of M and works for the university. He's a good dude.

Totally off topic but my buddy was at the UA Gym today in MD and saw a bunch of UofM UA gear. Thought I would pass along in case you wanted to look into it (odds are you already have pics though).
(Not so) Fond memories of drinking all day there waiting for the rare Michigan night game and then watching Donovan McNabb run all over Michigan in a night game against Syracuse
Had a sick dog who got prescribed Flagyl and wouldn't take it to save her life. Drove me crazy. Got prescribed the same thing for Cdiff and totally know why now. Tastes like dining on powdered metal.
Low taxes and all the benefits of being in AA. Two mile jog from my place to the stadium. Traffic isn't bad now that the construction is done. Grew up in South Lyon - kind of apples and oranges to AA. Ann Arbor is very different from other places like SL, Chelsea, Dexter, etc. My reco would be decide if you want to be in a smaller community like those, and then go from there.

Probably could've pointed out that those weren't "Durkin's guys" who hung 51 points on Texas in his second year as the coach.

I think Michigan is in the top 10 for total assistant pay? It's not like they are bottom of the barrel for college teams anyway.
