02/09/2018 - 8:11am Sorry you’re just off base,

Osu didn’t get every kid from Ohio, there are 79 3*+ kids in Ohio.
Michigan got exactly 0.
Norte Dame, Clemson, FSU, MSU, PSU, Oklahoma, WVU, Wisconsin, MN, UK, Purdue, UVA, NW, Pitt and Iowa State all found time to get into Ohio. The fact that Michigan got 0 is mind boggling. They got 4 of the top 5 but there are 12 4*+ guys.

To ignore Ohio is a failing strategy for UM.

02/09/2018 - 7:49am You are correct.

It’s easy to turn down Bama when you don’t have an offer.

02/09/2018 - 5:01am He already

Coached at OSU and ND, I don’t think he’s at the point in his career where he is looking to build hi s resume, I think it’s more likely he didn’t fit with the MN staff or wanted to stop recruiting

02/09/2018 - 5:01am And I already

Posted.

02/08/2018 - 3:19pm you would kind of expect that...

if you're the top team you don't play yourself.

02/07/2018 - 8:57pm your use of "our" and "they" are interesting.

UM Is recruiting some of the best players in the country.  Shianno was Petit Ferer's coach early in HS, i don't think you can call him "our" recruit.

OSU is selling the kids on some things UM doesn't have right now.  As good as UM's NFL class was last year, OSU's was still close and better some every other year.  They sell championships, winning etc.  UM doesn't have that right now.  For UM to get to where OSU is there needs to be some urgency.  This class doesn't say urgent.

02/07/2018 - 1:23pm agreed

OSU also needed OTs so it was just as important for them.

01/20/2018 - 6:36pm .

01/20/2018 - 6:35pm Not sure how I

did a quad post.
My bad.

01/20/2018 - 6:33pm Not sure that

Warriner is the answer at OC, but with the OL he would be a great fit.

01/20/2018 - 6:32pm The online was great when he coached it

But wasn’t as strong when he changed roles. The rap was that he could call plays but was a great online coach. The recruiting is subjective.

01/20/2018 - 6:18pm He was great running the OL

He and Tim Beck were a failure as OCs. If he is the OL coach I would think he would do an excellent job. The OL were not very good in 2011 before he took over and sent a bunch to the NFL.

Oh and he inherited Bollmans horrible offensive line recruiting in 2012. Ie he did it without a 2014 type roster at OSU.

01/19/2018 - 3:58pm I have 5 zone players

connected to a 12 channel Sonance amp run to the entire house.

I've had it for maybe 8-10 years and love it.  I think the zone players are called the "Connect" now and were great if you had any existing stereo equipment.

The only "issue" i have with Sonos is that Pandora used to be commercial free when I first got Sonos, then around 3-4 years ago the commercials began but they aren't nearly as bad as the Pandora commercials on a phone app.

01/19/2018 - 3:27pm Hutchinson is 195 as of today (247 composite)

That would put him at 17th in Ohio State's class.  That's not competitive.

12/31/2017 - 12:55pm I see the B1G winning

all but the NW/ND game and possibly Iowa/ISU

12/31/2017 - 12:48pm The B1G will be better next year.

MSU returns 20 starters i think.

PSU returns McSorley but loses Barkley and Gisseki.  OLine should be better.

OSU loses lots but replaces them with younger versions of the same players.

Wiscy is Wiscy, the lose the TE but the RB, and 2 best WR's are Freshman/Sophomores.  Hornibrook is back.

Purdue is actually good again?

UMD will be good if their QB's can stay healthy.

Indiana will take a step back.

Nebraska is Frosty. 0-12 to 12-0 in 2 years is scary even at Nebraska.

NW is coming off a big win but lose the RB and the QB hurt his knee.

In short Michigan will play at least 6 ranked teams but as many as 7. (ND, NW, Wiscy, MSU, PSU, OSU and possibly Nebraska?)

12/31/2017 - 12:47pm Crazy...

To think UM will go 5-1 against ranked competition (or 7-1 if Nebraska is ranked) is a stretch.

There are a lot of tough games on that list but as mentioned above there a good "breaks" before each tough stretch.

12/31/2017 - 9:22am It will be a while before UM

Can really recruit against UMD, especially in women’s. The youth girls lacrosse in MD if light years ahead of other states. There is maybe one club team in NY and PA that can compete with the top 8 in MD. The boys are much closer State to state. Think MD trying to recruit football players against UM in reverse. There is a big gap on the field and culturally.

The new stadium looks great though.

12/31/2017 - 8:51am Nicely done

And rational.

12/31/2017 - 8:25am That’s the point...

Alabama doesn’t deserve to be there but neither does anyone else.

12/31/2017 - 8:09am Alex Smith disagrees

I think they were 12-0 at Utah

12/11/2017 - 5:01pm interesting the only thought

that comes to mind is that Alabama should be 1 not 1.25.  I don't ever recall them being 2nd.

12/12/2016 - 10:34am do you think UM will win at home next year?

OSU will return mostly the same team.  UM will be almost entirely new players, albeit almost entirely new Harbaugh players.

7-3 is pretty bold based on the current state of each program.

12/05/2016 - 7:55am Ohio has roughly

2x the number of division 1 recruits. They also don't have another p5 school in the state. To put in perspective the only other school with 100+ recruits and no other schools in state is LSU. UGA is similar since GTU has limitations and GA has +/- 200 recruits.

It's a significant advantage.

12/02/2016 - 11:37am Why?

Doesn't that just mean he's a good gameday coach?  Or are you suggesting a conspiracy to make sure Urban does well?

12/02/2016 - 11:30am Browning is 16.

Assuming nobody goes pro early and nobody leaves OSU with 95 scholarship players next year if they take 20 in this class.

Assuming McMillan, Conley, Lattimore, Samuel and Hooker go pro early that's 90.  I'm not sure what "normal" attrition is at any school, but 5 seems reasonble.

12/02/2016 - 11:26am That's what they said

in 2014.  I think you underestimate the depth at OSU.

11/14/2016 - 2:40pm OSU Beat Wiscy

so I would be OSU would be in above Wiscy even though Wiscy will have a nasty SOS.

PSU vs. OSU would be interesting but I bet PSU would get in first.

03/23/2016 - 12:33pm Really?

He won a NC, Silver Football tons of awards, games vs. UM etc.

02/24/2016 - 12:51pm Street Outlaws

Love that show.

02/04/2016 - 4:51pm B1G will not take Iowa State

No way the B1G takes Iowa State.  They bring nothing and not having them further relegates them behind Iowa.

01/04/2016 - 12:36pm while I agree with your sentiment...

Sparty is replacing it's players with more highly recruited versions.  The guys today are 1/2 to 1 star high rated on average than the guys coming in 4 years ago.

I don't see MSU winning less than 9 games.  They have ND, OSU and UM as potential to probable losses, they should beat everyone else somewhat handily + a BTCG or bowl game.

09/16/2015 - 1:24pm way to simple...

Add yards allowed or YPP and I think you're good to go.

07/06/2015 - 10:42am its in the article

.

07/06/2015 - 10:37am Columbus is a little over the top

when it comes to Michigan.  Most of it is light hearted but there's an element that wants to prove their fandom by taking it to an extreme level.  You don't see that for any games other than Michigan in Columbus.  Maybe I'm too old (39), but I just don't get why you wouldn't use the letter "M", yell "Ann Arbor is a whore" etc.

The worst fans I've seen are by far Miami.  They were bad in Columbus and in Miami.  We felt physically threatened after leaving the stadium after we lost something like 26-10.  That was by far the worst game I've ever been to.

07/06/2015 - 10:29am how did they take your ticket?

Were you already in the gate when discovered?

07/06/2015 - 10:26am That's a good point

I think fans knowing they won't be able to get drinks in the stadium leads to some chugging right before the game and therefore being even more intoxicated when they enter. Of course I have no experience with this.

Iowa's list is gold.

07/06/2015 - 9:29am There's that little difference in the two...

choice.

06/11/2015 - 8:29pm Do you think OSU is going to have a

drought?  Certainly not on the field in 2015?

06/11/2015 - 8:28pm What does that say about

Michigan considering UM held the record for 16 years?

06/07/2015 - 10:09pm Did you miss OSU winning the national

championship by 3 touchdowns?  Are you really talking smack after a season where your coach and AD got fired?

I don't need an excuse, OSU beat the 2,4,5 and 13th ranked team in the country.  Oh and they beat Michigan.

Your argument boils down to "yeah but you guys didn't win the national championship by enough" and "you can't prove you'll beat UM forever".  Is that where you are at this point?  You're right, next year OSU will win by more, starting with UM.

06/07/2015 - 10:07pm that flyer says

"I can't give a list of quantifiable accomplishments, so I'll attack a position coach who sent 2 guys to the NFL last year, beat Michigan, won the CCG and won the NCG".

Keep talking trash, it will only making beating Michigan that much sweeter.

06/07/2015 - 9:57pm sure it did...

when that recruit was the one who forwarded the image to OSU coaches...

I hope UM keeps posting stuff like that, it will only serve to fire up the boys at OSU.  Hell I hope in 2016 you try to put a spike in the "O" in Ohio Stadium.  The outcome will be the same as it was in East Lansing.

06/07/2015 - 9:53pm wouldas, couldas

and shouldas vs. rings.

06/07/2015 - 9:51pm Maybe you should learn a little history before

calling someone names.

Bernie Machen brought Urban with him.  Foley was in the right place at the right time and was lucky Bernie brought Urban with him.

Foley also hired Muschamp and Zook.  He was the brilliant mind who is currently paying Muschamp to coach at Auburn due to the idiodic extension he granted Muschamp after year 2 at Florida.  He hung with Muschamp after being beat by Georgia Southern.  There was no excuse for that.  He's also paying CSU $20m for an untested coach like McElwain.  Imagine paying a early exit fee for a coach with a similar background to Hoke?

Foley also let UF facilities lag and they are now playing catchup with an indoor football field etc just to save face.  The new football facility looks like a cheap steel carport.

Next time do a little research before calling somebody a Moron.

06/07/2015 - 2:56pm In ice straw man.

i never said UM didn't matter. I will say the image created didn't matter either considering it blew up in your face when Mack committed to Ohio State.

06/07/2015 - 2:26pm It's not immature,

it's as honest as political ad. Like many political ads it backfired when the truth came out. Mack committed to osu which is pretty indicative of the fact that it failed.

06/07/2015 - 12:34pm Quantifiable accomplishments

like national championships.
