06/19/2018 - 11:10am Considering the shit show of…

Considering the shit show of an O line they ran behind I'd say both Higdon and Evans did well.

06/17/2018 - 11:16am But to leave a chance to…

But to leave a chance to live in A2 in favor of State College?

We should cancel this kid's sanity /s.

06/14/2018 - 10:42am There is some young talent…

There is some young talent there to be sure. I'm confident that with Warinner simplifying the schemes we should be fine this year.

It is perplexing as to why JH was running both zone and gap concepts last year. Makes no sense at all to me. Major f up.

Warinner did fine with talent levels like UM's at OSU.

06/13/2018 - 4:45pm This is just Harbaugh…

This is just Harbaugh motivating people at a time he can't personally work with them.

06/09/2018 - 1:23pm Pro style?

Things that make…

Pro style?

Things that make you say "hmmm....".

06/07/2018 - 5:49pm How much action is he going…

How much action is he going to get in jail?

06/07/2018 - 1:10pm And nooooobody would ever…

And nooooobody would ever consider the viper to be an extension of the LB corps, right?

Oh, wait, Al Washington coaches both LB's and vipers.

06/07/2018 - 12:47pm Was the horse doing him?

Was the horse doing him?

06/06/2018 - 7:31pm Let's see, then, that makes…

Let's see, then, that makes MSU a young adult day care center then, right?

06/06/2018 - 2:00pm Beilein's offense would be…

Beilein's offense would be incredibly effective in the NBA.

06/06/2018 - 8:40am That's pretty far from…

That's pretty far from campus.

06/04/2018 - 8:04am Not fixing the offensive line

has been a major chink in JH's armor. The issue has been one of recruiting, yes, but also the lack of improvement among the players.

Yes, a lot of that might be put on Drevno, but, combining gap and zone shemes with Frey last year was a major F up.

There might be something to Dan Antonio's comments about UM having run 35 different sets in last year's game. The O line looked confused a lot of the time.

Hopefully. Warinner will repair the issue. I remember thinking a lot of years that OSU's line would suffer due to youth but they always came through. It all starts with the O line IMO. UM's lack of offense over the past two years has hung the D out over and over again.

Some might blame Drevno for the issues we've had but this is big boy football and it all rolls uphill. Drevno, IMO, is an example of why the "meritocracy" line is somewhat bullshit. He got three years which was at least one year too many.

I have similar doubts about JayBaugh.

06/04/2018 - 7:44am I've spoken to a number of guys from the '97 team

and there seems to be a thread running between them of not liking Harbaugh so much. They don't seem to like his antics.

There was beer involved so take it for what it's worth.

06/03/2018 - 9:50am Izzo had a chance with JJ

The few times I saw him at the top of the key with the ball while covered by an opposing team's center he was almost unguardable. His ability to hit the 3 and put the ball on the floor at 6'11" is pretty devastating.

Think of what Beilein would have done with him

06/03/2018 - 9:43am Yeah, should have just linked to the article

Tried to delete the extraneous stuff but it is resistant.

06/03/2018 - 8:34am The subject matter was clear in the subject line

And you could have chosen not to click on it.

And you could have chosen not to be a douche, too but noooo!

06/02/2018 - 12:36pm Yeah, an argument can easily be made

that Dan Antonio outcoached Harbaugh in all three games thus far.

06/01/2018 - 8:37pm My 5 year old nephew

knows JB would never go to the NBA. I'm sure recruits know that, as well.

06/01/2018 - 8:34pm My 5 year old nephew

knows JB would never go to the NBA. I'm sure recruits know that, as well.

06/01/2018 - 8:30pm A very good example of why property developers aren't cut out to

be AD's at major universities (among other very important jobs in the US).

06/01/2018 - 5:32pm Great PR for Beilein and the program

He's not going anywhere but it elevates his prominence in the minds of recruits.

And pries a few dollars loose for his staff.

Win-win.

06/01/2018 - 12:17pm Don't forget the Matador and Hornet

which were also really terrible cars.

06/01/2018 - 9:48am I rented 200's a few times while on biz trips

Very quick but made strange noises.

Junk!

05/29/2018 - 11:33pm That's a pretty ridiculous condemnation

as by all accounts he is doing well in school.

Ever think his goal is to play professional basketball and that the window for him to do so is limited?

05/29/2018 - 7:23pm His offense seems to be limited to junk around the rim

I'm not sure that Tillman will be much different -- just looks like the typical Izzo banger with a limited offensive skillset.

05/29/2018 - 10:11am Igudala has been a big loss for the GSW

No, he's no Chris Paul but he would have lent a hand in tightening up their defense.

Guy is underrated.

05/28/2018 - 10:11pm Ty Wheatley was never expected to be here for more than a few

years as he wants to coach in the NFL.

TJ has been snake bit by injuries. He's a great athlete but might have outgrown a position where he is going to catch a lot of passes. I'd be more than happy to be wrong about that. But with McKeon, Gentry, and Eubanks we have some guys out there who can really run.

05/28/2018 - 6:41pm I have an old friend who's now 96

Known him for 43 years and only found out five years ago that he fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

05/28/2018 - 4:12pm Do it again

and we dock your pay!

05/28/2018 - 12:38pm I think "Tyrone Wheatley, Jr."

is currently a TE on UM's team.

That's what the "J" in "TJ" Wheatley stands for.

05/28/2018 - 12:34pm Doesn't UM already have more highly rated DL

committed and/or targeted?

Color me not concerned.

05/27/2018 - 12:24am Lol -- not at all

Did you ever see the Bad Boys play the Bulls? That was hand-to-hand combat.

Tonight was nuthin'!

05/26/2018 - 1:44pm This might be the dumbest thing ever here

and that's saying something.

05/25/2018 - 8:50am Could Rich DeVos possibly

be that stupid?

05/23/2018 - 8:18pm I think that completing 47%

of 80 yard passes is pretty good.

Ya gotta think BIG!

05/23/2018 - 8:16pm I was at that game in SB

Seemed like there were four TD's scored in the last five minutes.

UM fans absolutely owned the post-game in the parking lots arounf=d the stadium.

05/23/2018 - 10:56am I traded in my '72 Cutlass

for a '74 Super Bug when gas spiked to a dollar a gallon in ~'79 or so.

The VW always ran (even without oil, in fact!). It also got great gas mileage but was brutally cold during Michigan winters as the hot air channels that ran forward from the engine compartment invariably rusted -- really poor design. I had to scrape the ice off the INSIDE of the windhshield.

My parents had previously purchsed a 1968 bug which they put studded snow tires on in the winter -- thing was awesome in the snow!

05/23/2018 - 10:33am Lol -- we used to call those Gran Ams

"secretaries' dreams".

05/22/2018 - 9:09pm Until he

commits 切腹 I won't think he has taken responsibility for his actions.

05/19/2018 - 1:40pm Cooool!

Weed's gonna be legal there soon!

05/19/2018 - 10:39am Never seemed logical for him to go to OSU

in their power spread offense.

He does look to have a pretty good arm (of which LSU surely won't avail themselves).

05/17/2018 - 9:03pm I've easily flown to Tokyo thirty times

and done connections to Guam, Honk Komg, or Singapore a half dozen times as well.

That is one bitch of a trip and the jet lag is horrible. Love Asia but would never go for five days unless someone put a gun to my head.

05/17/2018 - 7:24pm St. John and St. Thomas are still toast

and will be for some time yet.

05/17/2018 - 7:19pm Hey, we're about to get a president for life

here so who are we to throw stones?

05/17/2018 - 2:55pm Kilauea

ought to be nice and toasty that time of year.

05/16/2018 - 7:33am Yeah, so I just ordered my own personal

neutron bomb.

Cuz, you know, the right to bear arms and all.

05/15/2018 - 9:37pm The "left"?

Dude, I'm a successful independent technology consultant and am no "leftie".

However, having now seen the excuses for the proliferation of guns now for over five decades I'd say they all fall very flat.

To wit, I lived in Japan for a decade and have a thirty year history with the country. Japan was a very dangerous place dominated by armed fascists (sound familiar?) in the years leading up to and during WWII. The US military spent the bulk of the occupation disarming the country.

The violent crime and death rate is now infinitesimal there...thanks to the US. It is so safe the cops have literally nothing to do.

BTW, Nixon wanted hand guns outlawed and hated the NRA. That ought to be very demonstrative of how far to the right this country has shifted.

And, as it relates to this thread, there would not have been any time for a knight in shining armor or a cop to swoop in and save the day. It happened just like that -- I was there and you weren't -- your dogma falls very flat.

05/15/2018 - 9:22pm You mean, this John Lott?

"women's suffrage coincided with immediate increases in state government expenditures and revenue and more liberal voting patterns for federal representatives, and these effects continued growing over time as more women took advantage of the franchise."

"Lott finds that when hiring standards are lowered in the process of recruiting more minority officers, the overall quality of all officers is reduced and crime rates are increased".

He's the king of junk science.

Lemme guess, UM - Dearborn, right?

05/15/2018 - 9:01pm When did I say "own gun"?

I'll help you out a bit -- I didn't.

05/15/2018 - 3:02pm I thought you were joking before

absolutely f'n crazy.

I couldn't see from my vantage point if any cars were blocked in but it appeared the truck was in the right turn lane and not up against the curb. The truck driver could have pulled up in front of Panera -- there were no cars parked in fron of it.

Crazy that the guy will go to jail for attempted murder over this.
