...a ticket to the game on the 10-yard line. Wiscy games are a ton of fun and if you haven't caught a game at Camp Randall you should really try.
UW has a habit of slaying dragons and has knocked off a ranked OSU a few times. 2010 comes to mind when they knocked off a #1 OSU team here. The weather may be a concern and if W can get a big day out of a running back like they used to then I see a Badger win. UW20--OSU17
Since I live in Madison, it seems all of my friends are have a connection to UW in one way or another. The Alumni who are, say, older than 26 remember all the bad/crazy experiences that UW had in Ann Arbor. To quote my buddy Matt "we've had some pretty hard times in Ann Arbor". They too are being very reserved about their chances.
However, those younger (and I'm around a lot of students) seem to remember only the last time we played and that was our lose in Madison in 2010: 48-28. IF they even remember that game, So they are very, very optimisitc. Wisconsin has upset many teams over the past six years and they think they can pull this one off too. Heck, they don't think it would be an upset as they think UW should be ranked higher than M as they have defeated two Top 10 teams.
It's been a fun week for me here being the odd man out. 99% of the Badger fans that I interact with are very fun and cool people. Go Blue!
Glad to know that there is another kindred soul in Madtown. I would agree about "Sconnie" being the go to local slang. I have been seeing an uptick in Wiscy though in shirts worn around town and for sale on State Street. Seems to be a recent phenom as the first time I encountered the expression was on a coworkers shirt a couple of years ago.
