12/10/2018 - 4:11pm I don't see how you can say…

I don't see how you can say this when he's played a total of 48 minutes. Yeah he does look kinda like a Doyle/Donnal type but, the jury is still out. People think he turns the ball over, 3 turnovers in 48 minutes is not bad. DJ looked like complete trash his first two years before blossoming in to a damn lottery pick (turns out he should have stayed another year but whatever lol). I'm not saying he will turn in to a lottery pick, probably far from it, but if there is anyone in the entire country who can develop a player, it's Johnny. He has taken far worse and made them functional, he will do the same with Davis as he always does.

Chill, I said it was a good problem to have.

12/08/2018 - 6:10pm Chill, did I not say it was…

oh boy!

12/08/2018 - 4:15pm Am I the only one worried…

Am I the only one worried that Pool, Iggy, and Matthews may all leave? A good problem to have but Jordan is lights out right now and so is Iggy. Matthews seems to be stuck kinda but I'm sure Johnny will get it out of him once conference play resumes. My only complaints are free throws and our pg can't shoot but at least he does everything else perfectly.

12/02/2018 - 7:04pm Totally agree, give the…

Totally agree, give the starters for next year reps, they need as much practice as they can get.

12/02/2018 - 7:03pm Yeah, gotta say, pretty sick…

Yeah, gotta say, pretty sick of this match-up. Florida is overrated, wish we got a better team to play, oh well. I hate how everyone (the media and announcers) thinks Harbaugh hasn't won a single "big game." Such BS, he has won a bunch of good games, just because he is 0-4 against OSU people say he sucks and hasn't won big games. Just this year, we beat Wisky, MSU, and PSU, all in a row, all ranked teams.  Yeah in hindsight they were all overrated but in the moment and at the time they were huge games to win. He also won against Wisky his first year which was a huge win and won the Orange Bowl his first year. He is a great coach and has won plenty of good games, get rid of Pep and we'll be elite.

12/02/2018 - 4:22pm Jahlil was the last player…

Wait are you serious, have you watched Zion, he can barely dribble. Jahlil was the last player from Duke who no one could touch, they blew him up to be the best player since Lebron, he was a stud on their best recent team (the one that won the national championship game in 2014/2015 in case you didn't know). Turns out, unlike in college, the NBA has bigger guys and knows how to guard, Jahlil has been garbage since year two in the NBA, the same thing will happen to Zion. Burly guys who can't shoot and don't have handles are not good in the NBA. Zion gets all his points at the rim just like Jahlil did in college because he is bigger than everyone, literally one of the biggest players in the college game right now. This changes in the NBA, Zion will be okay his rookie year, probably about 10 a game and then fall off, you'll see, you must not watch the big leagues.

12/01/2018 - 7:09pm I always wondered what would…

I always wondered what would happen if Beilein could get his teams to play in November like they do in March, well now I know, they just beat every team they play by at least 17. This team is incredible. With the addition of Iggy and the improvement on d they can match-up with anyone.  Give us dook, I wanna take it to Zion and RJ. Remember the last player dook had who everyone thought was unstoppable, Jahlil, well now he’s not even getting minutes in the nba, same thing will happen to Zion, not skilled enough for the big leagues.  Can’t dribble and can’t can’t just dunk it on everyone on the nba. Go blue, beat all the teams you have left to play.

11/18/2018 - 5:16pm Beilein is the damn best…

Beilein is the damn best coach ever.  I was just about to say how Teske has been quiet and it seems like he'll take a year to develop, yet this game proved me wrong. They looked flawless, I'd say if Z was three inches taller he'd be a top 20 draft pick. I'm worried Iggy will leave after this year but maybe that is a good problem to have, we'll see. Go blue beat UNC.

11/14/2018 - 10:16pm Incredible, end to end…

Incredible, end to end. Everyone played lights out. It shows what a mastermind Beilein is, how underrated this team is, and how overrated Nova is. The crazy thing is we're not even going at full speed yet. Definitely a top 15 team right now, Iggy is a star, I hope he doesn't leave after this year...

11/14/2018 - 5:07pm This is kinda tough to…

This is kinda tough to assess. They beat us, the #4 team in the country, Stanford and NW, both good but not great teams, and now they have Syracuse, another good, not great team...assuming they win, that is three wins against good teams and one win against a great team. Just subjectively, I see them as the 6th best team right now, we'd beat them in a rematch and I see Georgia, OU, and maybe WSU handling them as well.

11/11/2018 - 9:54am Yeah, thanks for summarizing…

Yeah, thanks for summarizing it for me. As the team currently stands, this is accurate. I'm sure Poole and Z will come alive at some point but right now but Poole has 5 turnovers to go with 6 points. Note how I also said they will eventually develop as they always do but if you have ever watched a Beilein team they struggle in the beginning of the season against good teams and will against Nova and UNC.

11/10/2018 - 11:13pm It will be difficult…

It will be difficult sledding against that Villanova team. I just don't see us with enough offensive firepower to keep pace with them or UNC, especially if we can't hit 3's. Come February or March and it would be an equal contest because you know Johnny B coaches em good but with only two reliable scorers in Iggy and Charles, we can't expect to make it a good game, especially away from home. I'm really hoping Poole starts to play better, he is not having a good start to his season. Go defense?

11/07/2018 - 3:00pm Not an off night, this team…

Not an off night, this team has trouble shooting. Of course they will be in the sweet 16 (as usual) but they also looked not good at the beginning of the season (as usual). I expect we lose most or all the our big games at the beginning of the season (as usual) and then smoke teams come the end of the year...just the way it always happens...Johnny B is the best coach, he'll make em good not bad.

11/04/2018 - 12:16am Great win! I think psu is…

Great win! I think psu is overrated but we really took it to them in this one, and the last one and the last one, incredible three wins in a row, not to mention 8. Is anyone else a little scared about what happens when we have to throw the ball though? We have multiple four and five star receivers and a 6 8 tight end and we can't get past 144 yards passing in a 42-7 blowout? I think it will be a bit difficult to just run the ball up the middle 40 times against the Alabama's of the world...any thoughts?

11/03/2018 - 12:02am Its hard to draw conclusions…

Its hard to draw conclusions from an exhibition but lacking outside shooting is going to make this team easier to beat than last years. We will realize how much having Mo and two seniors meant once the season rolls around. Hoping Iggy, Poole, and Charles can pick up the slack.

10/30/2018 - 1:25pm Sounds like a 100% Beilein…

Sounds like a 100% Beilein team, just what I love.  Can't find their rhythm in the first half of the season and beat everyone in the second half. Hopefully Iggy can be the true baller we all think he is, already looks strong and ready for the NBA, hoping he isn't a one and done.

10/19/2018 - 3:47pm I hope we rough and tumble…

I hope we rough and tumble them up.  This is a great game for Shae to get it going in the passing game. If we try to run it the whole game and don't succeed i'll be mad because you know it would be Harbaugh's fault saying, we're stronger than them we can run against these guys. Let Shae do what he's good at and throw for over 300, no reason not to.  On D we just have to rush 4-5 and drop back the rest in coverage, Lewerke isn't a good qb and they can't run. Go get 'em Shae!

10/16/2018 - 11:04am Definitely frustrating as a…

Definitely frustrating as a fan but you have to remember that msu assistants are watching his press conferences so he is not going to give any clue in to injuries or playcalling or anything like that.  He wants msu to not know if they have to prepare for Mason or Rashan, it makes it better for us and more difficult on them.

10/15/2018 - 10:18am Why don't we do more screens…

Why don't we do more screens plays!!?? We do a lot of bubble screens to receivers that never seem to get going or get many yards. Evans is so shifty and they are great plays for 2nd and long. Can someone answer this for me...

09/29/2018 - 10:50pm NW defense averages 380, we…

NW defense averages 380, we got 376, they are 1-2, now 1-3, if we're okay beating this kind of team 20-17 then we aren't going to get far.  The top programs are good because they accept nothing but the best. If we accept 20-17 as a "good" win then we will never get anywhere. Good win, bad win, whatever. My main point still stands, we have A FAR way to go to beat Wisky, PSU, and OSU, a very far way.

09/29/2018 - 10:49pm If you think our biggest…

If you think our biggest problem is not being able to defend slant routes then LOL.

09/29/2018 - 10:48pm NW defense averages 380, we…

09/29/2018 - 10:30pm They have an incorrectly…

They have an incorrectly assessed nfl QB who probs won’t see any playing time in the pros and mind you, nothing else, literally but one good d-end.  They are not a good team, if you think NW is a good team, you gotta watch more football buddy. I give them a bit of cred for having two weeks to prepare but this game should have been 30-10ish.  We got ALOT of work to do to have a change against Wisky, PSU and OSU.

09/29/2018 - 10:23pm Not the best game :/ We are…

Not the best game :/ We are still struggling against inferior opponents for some reason and I can’t figure it out.  I think Pep isn’t all that great and we are bogged down a bit by the fact that harbaugh is so insistent on his ways and refuses to change but I still believe in him though not in Pep. We need to be WAY less conservative. Where was DJP, we need more from a sophomore receiver who was a 5 star. Higdon was his usual awesome self and the refs sucked but what’s new? Hopefully we improve greatly in the next two weeks because that three game stretch is gonna be difficult. Hoping we get 2/3 but we’ll see.

09/22/2018 - 5:56pm Incredible outing, poor Mr…

Incredible outing, poor Mr. Frost, he seems like a nice guy.  The only bad thing from the entire game if I'm being nit-picky was the small amount of throws Shae had. I think that when we play some good, good teams like PSU, Wisky, OSU, we are going to need to sling the ball a lot and will not be able to run much against them.  I think and want to see Shae use these games to throw 30 times a game at least and practice getting dimes to his receivers. Plus our o-line still needs plenty of reps to be able to protect Shae from good big-ten d-ends.  Other than that, great game.

09/16/2018 - 12:00am It seems like our defense is…

It seems like our defense is not as good as it was chaulked up to be preseason.  SMU got us for 300! yards? Wtf boys? Shae looked great throwing those balls to dpj and Gentry but we have a long way to go, osu looked ridiculously good against a solid tcu club.

09/03/2018 - 2:28pm Very incorrect prediction lol

Very incorrect prediction lol

09/03/2018 - 2:21pm So what do we make of it? I…

So what do we make of it? I was actually impressed that we were somewhat close at the end, there were one or two things that needed to go right in that second half for us to be completely in the game.  If we didn't go down two TDs immediately this would have been a close, close game somehow. I think the offense is just wayyyy to complicated and Pep needs to go.  There is no reason he should be here, everything else I'm fine with I guess except the o-line.

08/09/2018 - 6:29pm I have such a difficult time…

I have such a difficult time deciding if this team will be better or worse or the same than last years squad.  I think they will be easier to guard because Mo just made it hell for teams.  At the same time, Teske's defense is an upgrade from last year.  Losing two seniors is always difficult.  I think the team will have about the same greatness but not put up the same record or go as far in the tournament, a tiny downgrade but still nasty at playing d and a great, fun team.

04/10/2018 - 7:44pm I know this is too simple

but why has our offensive line played poorly in the past two years?  They practice against one of the best d-lines in the country, doesn't this make them better?

04/04/2018 - 1:58pm Z seems to have command.

I don't see Z losing any of his minutes.  Dejulius may take some of his time but as we all know, unless they are incredible, no freshman PG can work Beilein's system very well.  There is an exception to every rule but my guess is Dejulius passes Brooks in backing up Z and then starts next year if Z leaves.  My guess is Brooks transfers or settles in to a back-up, back-up.

03/28/2018 - 4:46pm This is a very odd game.

I'm sure just like most of the other teams who got Loyola thought it would be a great match-up and they would come out on top...all four teams who thought that were wrong.  Of course Michigan is a WAY better team than these guys but Chicago is still riding the wave.  Take this as a regular season game in the beginning of the season and we win by 20 but march madness is wierd.  We have to go in to this game thinking that this is going to be the best team we've played all season (even though it's not).  I would play Wagner and Teske at the same time and just pummel them with post-ups...when they double, kick it out.  Can't wait to watch.

02/23/2018 - 3:00pm I have been saying this for a year, finally!!

Great job.  Now hire a great offensive coordinator.  Pep should probably go too but we'll save that for another year, at least he has a lot of experience at the next level.

02/19/2018 - 1:37pm Was wondering

when this praise Rahk post was going to come.  Rahk has gone from a consistent player to an even better consistent player and go-to guy.  I love when Belein finds players like these.  It take sa huge burden off other players when we have two go-to scorers in Mo and Rahk.  Great team win, these guys can make noise as usual in the tournament.  Hopefully Charles gets out of his slump, he is often times one of the top two or three players on the court.

02/16/2018 - 2:35pm Totally agree.

Our offense is a hodgepodge of coaches who aren't very good and have proven they aren't very good.

02/16/2018 - 2:18pm Bad hire.

If we have gotten to the point of "can't do much worse" then that is a problem.  The shark humper has given plently of reasons he isn't worth it and not many reasons to think he is worth.  Michigan really can't get an offensive mastermine to lead the offense?  Hamilton and Drevno are both bad (see the past three years), and so is Shark Humper.  Harbaugh can do better than the Browns coordinator and a fired Florida coach who is a public relations nightmare.

01/25/2018 - 10:07pm I take one BIG thing from this game:

We are just as good as the 3rd best team in the country.  No one will want to play us in March!  If Charles gets rolling we'll be unstoppable. This team can go 8-0 in it's last 8, that puts us at 25-6, not worst, probably 23-8.

01/15/2018 - 1:21pm One of Beilein's best wins

as a head coach, and he is starting to really rack them up.  There is not a coach out there who gets more out of his players.  Dantonio actually does a good job of this I think but lets praise nothing about MSU ever because I hate them.  Not worried about the FT, if anyone can teach a 20 year old kid to shoot a FT, it is johnny.

01/02/2018 - 10:50am So how long do we hold on for?

Harbaugh is a great coach and I think he is a great fit here but he has made plenty of questionable calls in recent games and this season.  So given that, he needs to make significant changes this off season.  What he has done with this team is good, maybe great, but not the best.  10-3,10-3, 8-5, and no starting QB heading in to a 4th season looks like the wrong direction to me.  If you want a program like Alabama or Clemson, then you have to have high, high, high expectations.  If our expectations are 8-4 then you will continue with a mediocre program whose best win with a 3rd year coach is Purdue who barely made a bowl game.

01/02/2018 - 10:10am The only thing left to do

is fire the entire offensive staff and give the new people a go next year.  If we don't at least win the big ten then Harbaugh is gone and our rebuilding ends up being 10+ years.  I still really like Harbaugh and I think he is a good coach but he doesn't quite seem to be making the perfect decisions.

11/18/2017 - 5:17pm I'm using your logic, not mine.

Hoke also turned around two programs.*  Do you post like 100 times a day or are you another unrealistic fan who doesn't realize that we haven't been good since 1997? You have wayy too many mgopoints lol

11/18/2017 - 5:05pm excuses

any more?

11/18/2017 - 5:04pm By your logic

We should have kept brady hoke, he won 26 games in three years and thats only two less than 28 so he was pretty good too?  Wrong.  He has not won the games he should.  He deserves one more year, if it is not good then we should get les miles.

11/18/2017 - 5:01pm more excuses

got any more?

11/18/2017 - 4:50pm because anyone can do better than okorn

11/18/2017 - 4:48pm There is a lot going wrong.

I actually think that game was winnable with Peters in there but that is besides the point.  Our backs can't run, our recievers can't catch and we are getting outcoached.  The only thing that makes sense now is for Harbaugh to do a complete rebuild of the offensive coaching staff for next year and if they don't at least go to the big ten championship game then he needs to be fired.  I'm sorry but 4 seasons is plenty enough time to get a team with that good of recruiting classes to the conference chapionship game.  He is not getting it done and also, O'korn is one of the worst QBs I have ever seen.

Bottom line is a bunch of people are going to make excuses like injuries and inexperience like they have been saying for three years now and you are just fooling yourselves.  Everyone has injuries and inexperience.  We haven't been winning important games and we haven't been to the big ten championship game and those are both facts.

11/17/2017 - 7:31am Well, you could watch it but

didn't care enough about the team to pay 10 for a month.

11/17/2017 - 7:30am Alarmingly gun-shy?

He has taken (and made) the most shots on the team so far at 49%, for a guy who has only played three live action games in two years I'd say that is probably not gun-shy.  Averaging 12 field-goal attempts in college is above average.

11/14/2017 - 10:36am Correct.
