Michigan and Penn State fan…

Michigan and Penn State fan as well.  Had the chance to watch Nicholas Singleton the running back from Governor Mifflin play last night (Committed to PSU).  Watched Chad Henne play in high as well.  While Blake Corum is Michigan's lightening -Nick Singleton will leave scares on the field as his running is blistering.   He ran for 5 TD in the first half.  He ended up with 326 yd.s and 7 TD's for the win over Warwick HS.  This was a 5A  Pa District quarter final game.

For the win l’ll take “D”

U can Robinson!

I believe Tom Brady was never recruited-

until his father sent in a film of Tom playing football.

Just run the no huddle offense-

Please! It will give our lack luster offense more time to put points on the board and keep our strength on the field longer. Why make this shit so cerebral-it's a simple game you play to your strengths and that's our defense.

Something has to change-

and in a hurry or this season is a cluster ----! My arm chair suggestion is run a no huddle offense. Coach Brown has this defense playing outstanding. That is Michigan's strength at this time. So-----, why not take advantage of our defensive strength. Who's the answer at QB you tell me. Let McCafferty learn 5 running plays and 5 passing plays-the same with Peter's, with O'Korn as your starter. Throw it out there and see what works. The defense had to deal with 5 turnovers last night-could it get any worse? At least running a no huddle offense gives our struggling offense more time to put points on the board and keeps our strength on the field longer.

O'Korn up-Peters better be ready.

Very important that Peter's be ready to go. With our defense playing so well, I'm more at ease with O'Korn at QB. I think this defense will be able to cover some of O'Korn's mistakes. But if the mistakes start to hinder this team-Peter's just might get "his" chance. I love O'Korn's swagger and with this defense, it very well could play out in Michigans's favor. Although years ago, just remember there was a reason O'Korn got benched and transferred. Good luck to O'Korn going forward, Michigan needed him Saturday and he stepped up and gave us hope going forward. Go Blue

Wow-

I think the playcalling is pathetic-not to be outdone by the lack of an offensive line. No quick slants-only a flanker screen-Harbaugh better grab the "reins" or this game is over.

Moe Wagner has improved as a player-

just has to stay out of foul trouble.  Wilson  needs some of Moe's energy because this player has all the skills to be great.   Still believe this team has the potential to be a very good team.

What's the Vegas line on

What's the Vegas line on Alabama Washington -enough said. Galloway is such a tool-The selection committee darling is still Ohio State-The argument to put Ohio State in and leave Penn State out doesn't hold water without putting Michigan in over Washington-The safety at Iowa was a spike in Michigan's hope to make the final 4. Would rather see top eight teams in the playoffs -more teams would be excited and a lot of these bowl games would start to have meaning-more conferences would get a chance (Western Michigan).

This looks like a MAC

This looks like a MAC game-The playoff committee really shit the bed when they put Washington over Michigan. Michigan should've stayed at number four and then with a convincing win by Washington moved up to four. Everyone watching this game knows neither of these teams could match Michigan. With a Washington win, the playoff committee implodes. The question is does Coach Saban run the score up to 100 points if they play Washington-one can hope. Th

I'd like to know at what

I'd like to know at what point you pull a quarterback and just sit him down for a series. The coaches design plays for Peppers to the point where it's obvious he is carrying the ball. With 2 capable QB's on the bench why not coach them to come in for a set number of plays for such a time when Speight is struggling or hurt. When you need to go deep send Morris in or you need 3 yards put in O'Korn to run an option. If your QB is struggling to hit the long ball have Morris go in with a second string receiver that he's been practicing all week with-Coach you got the players use them . Tell Morris and O'Korn each of you will be running these set plays in practice and in the game-be ready to go. In the event Speight does get hurt The quarterbacks on the bench we're already getting ready to go. It makes me think of how Ohio State used their QBs when they won the National Championship.

Redshirt Peters now!!!!

Redshirt Peters now!!!! OMG-What a"natural." The poise and talent this young player has will make Coach toss and turn at night with him riding the bench. Every National championship team has a great coach and a great college quarterback, Michigan now has both of these. Exciting times for Michigan football fans.

Bold move for Coach Harbaugh

Bold move for Coach Harbaugh to take an entire football team to Florida for practice. Risk vs rewards-I get it. I hope the players realize the biggest sharks they might encounter won't have fins but a press pass. Father Delaney approves this message.

Stone cold Speight!!!! Kudos to coach Harbaugh for having this player so well-prepared to play. These young incoming quarterbacks have to be excited after watching what Speight did coming off the bench.

Jabrill's moves makes me

Jabrill's moves makes me question if he shouldn't be playing offense. Pepper's elusiveness is amazing, not to mention yards after contact. Would love to see him with the ball in his hands on a screen pass or catching a slant pass.

Will be watching Sparty's defense-

without long time defensive coordinator at helm.

He was really complaining about-

how easy Auburn had it this week.

"with the same sarcastic bent

"with the same sarcastic bent that serves me today"-thanks for the morning chuckle to go along with my coffee. The buzz in Ann Arbor must be crazy this morning, wish I was there.

When I watch Alabama play, I

When I watch Alabama play, I basically think of Michigan 20 years ago. Alabama has a huge physical offensive line and a couple of star running backs. They run to set up the pass. I don't see that at all with Coach Harbaugh. I see him running a balanced offense that relies on tight ends and slot receivers. He uses a fullback to ensure the running back gets through the line and around the end. The pass will set up the run in Coach Harbaugh's offense. That's why it's imperative that Michigan find the right quarterback. From what I've seen on film, I believe the quarterback visiting this weekend is the right one. This player has a fast release passing the ball and is a very talented roll out passer. Michigan for sure has the right coach but will need time to get the right players and that starts with the quarterback for Michigan. Go Blue

Davis Mills -great release on

Davis Mills -great release on the ball and passes well on the roll out option. Also noted that wide receiver has good size, great hands and runs nice routes-very impressed. Would love to see more of that player.

I've never been more encouraged after a Michigan Football

loss than I am now.  Reading that pressor gave me goose bumps-seriously.

Thank you for posting-

enjoyed watching Victor run.  Reminded  me of Derrick Alexander returning punts for Michigan.  Stay healthy Victor and God's speed to Michigan

Might be starting Sunday against Baltimore-

This guy has fan favorite written all over him. Nice post-thank you

Love reading this blog -

Simple shout out to Brian and all the writers that support MGoBlog. I enjoy reading about the players -coaches and various teams that play for the University of Michigan. Even though I live in Pennsylvania, I still feel connected to Michigan sports by reading your blog daily. This is coming from a fan not an alumni. The money I spend supporting Michigan athletics through tickets and apparel is directly related to reading this blog......!

Genius -no not by any means

And I'm sure Jim Harbaugh would be the first to admit it. But he does know what it takes to win. In my opinion, Jim Harbaugh is a gamer. Coach Harbaugh will find a teams Achilles' heel and exploit it every chance he gets. He's looking for players like Kovac's guys that want to get dirty and that are willing to set the table for the other stars on the team to win the game-some bloggers call that genius so be it- I call that a gamer. In my opinion not only is Jim Harbaugh one hell of a coach, he is one hell of a gamer and Michigan is lucky to have him. When I saw that picture of Coach Harbaugh with his shirt off -oh yeah he's a gamer. His enthusiasm for the game will become infectious with all these players on Michigan's roster-and as a fan, I can't ask for anything more than that.

Jameson's-

straight up.  With the weather being so damn cold, doesn't seem right drinking it on the rocks.

Can't force it with this defense.

Take what they give you and hope the defense can hold.  Brady is changing gears-it's what makes him great.

Harbaugh takes off the head set early-

Detroit  and  Philly win.

IMO-Michigan knows what Harbaugh is going to do.

Call it a smoke screen-BS whatever.  When you're talking this kind of money surprises are not   welcome by anyone involved.  At best for Michigan, Harbaugh is telling Hackett -I'm willing to come but you're going to have to pay market value++.  No one is talking about the possibility of Harbaugh staying another year in San Francisco-which really is a possibility.  Harbaugh's and Michigan's hands are tied for the moment. Hopefully for Michigan,  San Fran tanks this week and the "Harbaugh to Michigan" starts to roll.  Waiting for Christmas sucks just ask Hackett.  The longer this plays out(Jim's market value), the better Michigan's chances are for landing Coach Harbaugh.

Bo and Woody must be smiling-

with this guy's name  being mentioned.   Very impressed with OSU's ability to reload at the qb position.  If JH is not in the cards-would not hesitate to hire this coach.  Seriously, if you think Michigan is waiting for the NFL season to end so Jim can decide your kidding yourself.   The deal  with JH is either done or not happening.

I suggest you do a root canal on yourself without anesthesia-

atleast you'll be able to explain the pain when your done.  Seriously, put done the N20.  This season has been bad enough on all of us, don't make it any worse for  yourself.

Coach Mattison=Anne Sullivan

Coach Hoke=General George Custard (born  in Ohio)  but a Michigan Man.   Wikipedia-Michigan Brigade"The Michigan Brigade, sometimes called the Wolverines, the Michigan Calvalry Brigade or Custers's Brigade, was a brigade of cavalry in the volunteer Union Army during the latter half of the American Civil War."  The Ohio State University  will be Hokes last stand.

Rutgers game is a "Black out"

Somehow this seems fitting. This was the one game I had plans for attending a Michigan football game. While my heart is with Michigan football my reasoning and alliance go hand-in-hand with Brian's and Ace's. This will be my "no-show game." Congratulations to Dave Brandon and how you have been able to push away the Michigan fan base. Your arrogance has superseded your intelligence.
