01/08/2019 - 1:08pm The answer to this annual…

The answer to this annual question is always either Glen Rice or Chris Webber (maybe Trey Burke if PG is a huge void). For this team, I think Glen Rice would be most valuable given the team's inconsistent shooting.

03/14/2018 - 1:46pm Best Starting Lineup From Players I've seen (Not Best 5 players)

1 - Burke

2-  Stauskas

3 - Rice

4 - Glenn Robinson

5 - Webber

Coach - Beilein

(Burke, Rice, and Webber are no brainers)

08/11/2017 - 1:18pm Najee is special

This board has PTSD from the number of 5* RBs that have washed out for the maize and blue. Najee is a special talent. I would trade any current player outside of Rashan for Najee.

06/21/2017 - 3:46pm Jordan Morgan v DJ Wilson

I'm not sure how you define a center in small ball, but there's no sane lineup that has DJ Wilson ahead of Jordan Morgan.

05/25/2017 - 4:42pm Davis and Wagner

Davis and Wagner can play together. Davis solves defending the post and defensive reboudning problems. On offense, Davis can play the Jordan Morgan role while Wagner stretches the floor.

07/23/2015 - 12:58pm Obvious Choices

Brady ($3)

Wheatley ($2)

Braylon ($4)

Woodson ($5)

Harbaugh ($1)

09/26/2014 - 3:41pm John U. Bacon v. Dave Brandon

The former players are upset that Dave Brandon is only giving them two free tickets and limiting sideline access.

John U. Bacon is upset with Dave Brandon because he banished him from the press box after he wrote his book.

Alumns are upset with Dave Brandon because of the price gouging, this year's home schedule, and the team is losing.

Students are upset with Dave Brandon because of the change in the seating policy.

I don't think it takes inside program sources to predict that a change is coming...

07/16/2013 - 6:12pm Yes

We lost our two leading scorers and assists leaders. It will take a few games for the rookies to adjust to the college game and for the existing roster players to expand their roles.

07/16/2013 - 3:18pm VCU Good Matchup

We are going to have trouble scoring, so it's nice to have a bad defense like VCU who relies on the press in our bracket. It's going to take a while for GRIII, Walton, Irvin to take over the offense. Also, possibility of Stauskas breakout year.

07/08/2013 - 9:21pm Notre Dame

To hell with Notre Dame. 14 teams is enough.

11/24/2012 - 11:12pm Borges not to blame

I don't know what you wanted him to do in the second half:

  • The interior offensive line was horrible.
  • The running backs were horrible.
  • Denard was a fumble risk everytime he touched it because of the injury, but Borges still found him some plays.
  • Devin isn't completely ready yet as most of his throws were late.
  • Our average receivers were not getting enough separation

In terms of third and short, Borges tried the following (at least):

  • I-form run
  • Denard up the middle
  • Denard sprint option outside

We just need to admit that we were outgunned severely in the running game on both sides of the ball and needed to either win the turnover battle or get one or two more deep balls to win.

10/21/2012 - 8:03pm Thanks.

Link works

10/10/2012 - 11:25am Don't overrate RB

This team would have a good offensive line, Tom Brady and a good defense.

As for the hole at RB, the clear solution is the greatest running QB in the history of the B1G.

CB was like Denzel's train - unstoppable.

10/05/2010 - 11:48am 3-3-5 / Bend but Don't Break Haters

The 3-3-5 gives us the best chance to win.  Like it or not, college football offenses have a much harder time having to convert slowly down the field then when they have a good chance to make a big play.  Who in the secondary do you think can cover a real Big Ten receiver one on one?  Until we can employ lockdown corners, the 3-3-5 soft zone is the smart move.

Dr. Phillips Hambone, Branden Jackson, and Avery Walls will propel Michigan to #2

10/03/2010 - 9:15pm Dr. Phillips Bowling

We are about to get a Strike with Dee Hart.  Can we get a second, a turkey, or the Dr. Phillips Hambone?!?

09/30/2010 - 1:55pm Letter Grades for UFR

Good job, Brian, as always.  I would suggest that someone create a letter grade system for UFR by position given that a +4 from a linebacker is much different than a +4 from a defensive back.  Perhaps, someone could analyze past grades and come up with the appropriate curve for each position?

Example J.T. Floyd's +3.5 is much more impressive than Banks/Van Bergen's +3.5.

Potentially, Floyd would receive an A/A-, while Banks/Van Bergen would receive a B.

09/30/2010 - 9:11am ESPN Recruiting Coverage Sucks

Rivals lists Dee as the #1 All-Purpose back in the country and as possessing "Blue Chip Speed".

ESPN is too busy sucking up to the SEC and pimping ESPN3 to follow recruiting accurately.

09/29/2010 - 5:38pm Barkabatuka

09/29/2010 - 1:48pm Herron

Getting Carvin and Herron back is a much bigger deal than losing Shaw/Fitz for a week.
