Edit: Just read post above me and couldn't agree more. Joyce shouldn't get the blame for this because mistakes happen and to not take advantage of technology and willfully deny the right call is stubborn beyond reason. It's sad that Galarraga has to be cost a perfect game to show MLB what they have to do.

Yes, Congress should be working on health care instead of trying to fix the BCS, but its very hard to defend a system where a computer picks a bunch of matchups instead of letting teams decide it. And the "the regular season is the playoffs" defense is garbage because it doesn't provide a fair way to determine a champion.
The funniest part was they came out in the 2nd half up 45 and were running play action and throwing downfield with all starters in the game. Belichick loves every second of this.

I said that I believe Tate should have been in there in the last drive, but that by no means implies that I think Denard cost us the game. He led a drive down the field to make it a game and I definitely understand that. Do I still think Tate should of been in there in the final drive? Yes. But that's just my opinion and I know Tate could of easily thrown a pick too. As many people have mentioned, it's a miracle that we had a chance to win after committing 4 turnovers. In 2 years we win this game.
The fact is that based on what Tate has done you can't have him on the sideline. If the Patriots had Mike Vick they wouldn't throw him in there with a minute left...
Within a couple years he should be a Pro Bowl receiver again if he can get his act together and stop dropping everything in his vicinity. He was as dominant as anyone in 2007, no way to say it was a fluke. With a promising young QB on a good team he should return to greatness.
Haven't watched much, but he's already proven to be 104340 times better than Theismann and Paul Maguire, both of whom tempted me to put C4 in my ears. Kornheiser was bad but he was just awkward
Only if your current starter is Michael Vick, Derek Andersen or John Navarre. I want him to blow up as much as anyone but he won't be putting up numbers worthy of a roster spot. Then again, I hope I'm wrong and he puts up good numbers. Just don't see it happening

A PAC 10 team and a SEC team. The shame of college football is that there's so many awesome combinations of teams that only ever occur during bowl season. A different PAC 10 and SEC team every year would be pretty cool (not just for M but for all teams in big conferences)

Seeing Forcier today, I couldn't think of a good comparison other than Roethlisberger in his rookie season for the Steelers. He actually made plays, not just "managing games" like other rookie qbs. And while Henne was great as a freshman he didn't dominate games the Forcier did at points today.
Armando Allen could of been given the chance to win that game. I understand Weiss wanted to put the game away but there's no excuse for what he did, and it could cost him his job.
It won't hurt the conference that much because its USC. everyone loses to USC. if OSU has 1 loss against USC going into the game with us it wouldnt diminish a M victory. granted it would be better to beat an undefeated team but its worth it to see USC beat their teeth in
If I was him I wouldnt want to go to a school where there are currently two very promising true freshman. That would mean he wouldn't play significantly until most likely his junior year, which may or may not be something he could live with.
It was against OSU so of course we lost. Lloyd told me all sorts of stuff, unfortunately I don't remember most of it. I asked him about various players and he said great things about them. He said he thought Alan Branch will be great for the Cardinals and talked about how great of a player Braylon was

Even though he's clearly not as well rounded as Tate, I got very excited everytime I saw him under center. If he eventually learns to actually throw sometimes and defenses have to respect that he will be very very dangerous
Despite size and speed the guy can still run. It was obvious he'd never be a stud but there's gotta be a lot of crummy 3rd string backs in the NFL he could overtake
