05/10/2018 - 12:12pm LeBron

I'd take Lebron any day, but I'd also take Bird or Magic before Jordan. Jordan was great, but these guys make the game fun and everyone around them better. Jordan is in the same group with Kobe, Russ and McGrady. Great individual players, but not my type of player. I did look up all of their regular season and playoff stats, very similar and not much room for argument there.

04/09/2018 - 6:37am Agreed, I was expecting more

Agreed, I was expecting more from Jim Harbaugh. He never got my juices flowing and he seemed to have a disconnect between his him and his players. FWIW, I'm a big JH supporter.
I wasn't a fan of Pep, but I am now. I like how he interacts with the players and coaches.

I've been coaching for 15 years at different levels in multiple sports and milking a boo boo has become a real struggle for coaches, especially in programs without a winning culture.

01/25/2018 - 5:45pm 2 Girls and a wife

I've got two young girls and a wide who has no interest in football. We spend or Saturdays at Cedar Point and going to do things together. I spend every fall Saturday in a bubble and watch the game when they go to bed around 9pm.

I feel like this team is not mature enough to handle big swings in emotion. It didn't look like anyone got off the mat once Peters went down.

Well done, this story brought a smile to my face on a day when a genuine smile was hard to muster. Thank you

08/08/2016 - 9:19pm I was a college freshman

I was a college freshman in'97. It seemed like every game was at noon. I'd shake off my hangover, pour myself a beer and listen to Bob Griese and Keith Jackson call out names like Sword, Ray, Renes and Woodson. Football had never been any better than that.

He is easily my favorite UM player of all time. He player D and made everyone around him better. #25 was my Magic!

07/14/2016 - 1:54pm Keg Party

I was at my 1st high school keg party and I was hammered, stumbling around outside a barn. I stumbled and fell backwards, flat on my back. When I looked to my right a pitchfork was laying on the ground, forks up. If I would have stumbled 1'-2' that direction I could have been on 1,000 ways to die.

02/25/2016 - 6:45am With my own eyes

I'm only going to choose who I've seen with my own eyes. Gary Grant, Rose, Rice, Webber and tournament McGary. Although I'd have no argument against Howard or Tarpley

02/21/2016 - 7:36pm The 92-93 team was better

The 92-93 team was better than the Carolina team on paper too. Just not the better team. Quit comparing professional credentials. Who played the best together?

02/21/2016 - 7:09pm I LOVED the Fab Five, but...

I think the '89 championship team wins over all comers, but I think 12-13 and even the 85-86 team led by Tarpley and Grant were better TEAMS. Just not as talented.

11/15/2015 - 8:28am Talking hard to achieve

The defense is a unit and '97 was the best I've ever seen, by a longshot. On top of that they had the best player in America.

08/18/2015 - 11:27pm FWIW. He's right, UM football

FWIW. He's right, UM football will exceed expectations this year. Show me a glaring weakness. I feel the WR is a question mark, but we are playing experienced guys who will be better than what they were, which is inherently better than 36/473/2.

09/20/2014 - 11:15pm next year

I don't think Hoke will be around next year, but whoever the Coach is, Hoke or the Next Man Up will be BIG Coach of the Year. This team will be ready by next fall. Stout front seven on D and a maturing O line. Ty and Green in a backfield with a game manager, Speight or Morris will do. The DB's are solid as will be our playmakers on the outside. As long as the new Coach plays power football the players will fit the scheme and get 10 plus wins. If we change back to spread tempo, we will be doomed for another 5 years.

08/16/2014 - 8:27pm funchess

Apparently Funchess just had an amazing one handed catch!

01/28/2014 - 1:25pm Wymer bump

Coach Beilein was upset because he felt the referee Terry Wymer bumped him with his nose. I watched it several times to read his lips and when the 2nd official came over, that's what he told him, "he bumped me", and kept pointing to his face. Wymer is a NW Ohio guy and an arrogant pile.

10/06/2013 - 8:09am about time

Do you think the Ol' Ball Coach doesn't know exactly how hurt he is? I'm sure the trainers are working on Clowney around the clock and reporting directly back to Spurrier. Clowney has been pulling this Julio Jones garbage since fall camp. You may see this problem as the exploitation of college kids?, but I see it has a societal problem, "do it all for the money."

04/05/2013 - 10:53pm Mexican Wrestler

I was 19 and in a bar in Windsor. We were playing shot challenge with our friends across the bar. It started nice, Washington Apples, Vodka, whiskey, but it got ugly quick. The last shot of the night was sent to my friend and I, a Mexican Wrestler chased by a Cement Mixer...I filled my draft glass with vomit and it spilled over onto the bar, my friend was lucky enough to make it outside before he spilled his guts. That was shortly after a 1997 UM National Title, oh what a night!

04/04/2013 - 6:50am More than ready

I would love to see the Fab Five show up in the ATL together, but I can't imagine it happening. For me and most who watched those teams they revolutionized the college game, much like Larry and Magic did for the NBA. I knew it was something special and I was only 15. I actually wore my CWeb jersey out in public last year for a fan day at work, I got some crazy looks

03/31/2013 - 8:14pm That's the one and only.

That's the one and only. Should probably reproduce some short shorts too!
