Went back and watched the game. Focused on the oline, Poggi struggled big time in the first half. Missing assignments, running pass defenders. Had a couple of okay seal blocks in second half. I personally like him. I think he will be a good player. But don't think he is ready. Wish he had more time
Game has been pretty good too. A&M has a turn over the ball twice in their own red zone. also both teams dont huddle at all. fun fact. I like are typo, Even when we huddled. we got up to the line fast
Alot of teams dont answer after Bama hits them with a TD. Nice break with penalty , way to stay in the game a fight on that drive! Couple of nice throws, I dont know about you guys but wish our QB would make them throws 6/8 on that drive
It's not that shocking, the interior line has been bad the last couple of games. What to u see the UFR they repeatedly had blow assignments, penetration into the back field and not getting to the second level.. This was their worst game and it's becoming a trend

i want to wish conley luck with what ever he picks. hope outside people dont push him one way or the other. but this is the first time i seen channing stribling on flim and GODDAMN he can move, big hits, cover ground i see why he got the offer good job hoke & company. i think he just became one my favorite recruit.
Congrats.. hopefully u have a great career and stay healthy I don't mind taking a so called sleeper or underrated guy. If hoke & company. Like him and thinks he can get it done then so be it
I'm mad because it not like they where thrown some crazy defense at us, like something we never seen before Or have great talent "bama". Look at the zone read play, I should say lack of zone read play.one ILB Just like brain said if Schofield get the next level on the LB and Denard reads the end (which I have FULL confidence in him to make the right read) touchdown or at least hands it off and the LB would be blocked. And look at denards head on that play he was not looking at the end or the DT to read them so hit was a handoff all the way.. So WTF we are just going to had it off and not block the middle linebacker and say good luck?? We should be running the hell out of that play!! The coach's are not putting this offense in a position to win the games and play after up.. And its on the player too,they have to trust the coaching and execute the plays but if u don't put them in the position to win well u know
They did put lewan in a tough spot to make a play. Probably would been better to combo the other way. But look at play one picture 2 look where the WLB was I still think mealer could have got to him
Look at play 2 video at the 0:06 mark the fullback and mealer are doubling the MLB smh there are a lot of problems going on that play
Now on the first play, the blame is on Mealer he went to the safety. When he should have gone to the WLB. Omameh had one he'll of a nice block on the one tech. Now the Fullback has great head position, but does not keep his leg driving after point of contact. It's just a simple man on man blocking scheme mealer went to the wrong guy. Mealer could have drove the WLB aNd made a nice seal u could see the ally or wall of butts forming .
play 2 Now they double team The 1 tech and he split them smh, so there is no room for error on this play. Omameh never gets his head across his face so when mealer leaves, omameh loses the battle. Now U highlighted the LB again on this play the blame goes on Lewan he never gets to him. It looked like he got pinched from the 5 tech and the 3. But he was supposes to get a hand on the SDE cuz he was inside then go to the LB he could have made a block if he gets out there he could have push him into the wash but he never got off the LOS cleanly
All in all we should be playing better then this..I love o-line talk it's beautiful one wrong step, not driving legs, head position it happens in a matter of seconds, it really comes down to the little things
Great pick up, on this great weekend. Him and coach funk will be spending a lot of time together. Can't wait to see some video on him. And the best part is he has time to develop because of the GREAT recruiting classes before him

I think brown has great up side...he reminds me of george selvie and derrick harvey. Big lean and fast after a redshirt and sometime he could become a huge player for us
