The 'Class Before March 22' heatmap is backwards. 5-stars need to be displayed in bold, beautiful green going over to yellow, then orange, then ... blue? red? At first glance I see much green and think: Did we have that many 5- and 4-stars?

DID EVERYONE SEE THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAY IN HISTORY?

M defense has been phenomenal over the past 3 years. Even with losses to the draft and a possible dip it's going to be a very good to excellent defense.
What is exciting is the offense. Assuming Shea stays around, you got:
1) Shea in Year 2.
2) Returning O-Line (most)
3) Ed Warriner
4) Returning TEs and WRs
5) A huge OL haul to continue fortifying
2019 should be another step forward for M with offense taking the biggest step and D the same as this year or maybe a slight step back.
If Harbaugh will adapt in the same way Beilein has adapted over his tenure at M to what he had and recruited, it could be a very good year.
Seth the quality of your Neck Sharpies is OFF-THE-HOOK. You don't assume that everyone knows the logic of keep vs. give on a zone read (for example), which is great. Your graphics and descriptions completely solidified of bunch of things I picked over the years, but was not sure about. Keep writing at this level. It's awesome.
Agreed. I turned the game off in the third. I cannot go through this again. Bryan is how I have historically walked away from the ledge, but as it turns out he was standing next to me on Sunday.
Only the second year under Harbaugh. As much as we'd like to think we are a molded team that is 'there' we are still ascending. More work to do. The direction is correct.
While I could jump on the bandwagon and lament plays that went over the top and the fact that we still haven't figured out the run game for whatever reason, Harbaugh as a creative strategist generally find a way to get the job done. In the end, you need the W.
If we combine this aspect with Harbaugh's relentless pursuit of daily improvement, we'll be okay ... We may not be 15-0 okay this year, but okay as compare with the past decade.
Read two other posts on other sites about possible DCs. Same list as you, but your logic on whether they'd move to MI and whether they'd be a fit is much more less-stupid and thoughtless. That's a compliment.
Never had the opt'y to play real (not flag) football in my life, but it's the greatest sport ever. It's like Gladiator Chess or Archon with football players ... or something combining visceral with cerebral. The analysis you guys do tweaks something in brain like the melodic tones of a slot machine to a gambler.
Whatever it is I can't get enough of it ... Stunts, 3-tech, the flat, pulls, Power O, Sad ghosts, Taco Pants ... thanks!

Agreed ... small classes don't need to be bad classes. This class doesn't seem very exciting or top tier. Not sure I get why.
