The thing about that 2017 MSU game was that all day anyone that bothered to look at the radar knew that it was inevitable that heavy rain was coming. The coaches must have been the only people unaware of the storm, and they apparently did not trust our offense enough to throw the ball downfield in the first half while it was dry. Then being down 14-3 they realized the short passes weren't finishing drives and started running longer developing pass plays. We cut the lead to 14-10, but then the monsoon hit and persisted the entire 4th quarter.
Once the storm hit that would have been the time to switch to quick hitting safe passes and a more run focussed approach to grind out at least one more solid drive. Instead we threw INT after INT in horrible conditions as MSU completely turtled trying to kill the clock; they had a total of 35 yards in the second half. We didn't need to keep trying to pass the ball being down only one score, but for some reason we kept running risky routes over the middle with MSU sitting back waiting for floating balls.
If our coaches had just run the entire offense in the first half, we could have had a lead and played keep away or at least forced MSU to try to throw in the rain to score more points and our defense could have capitalized. We still had a chance to win that game, but it should have easily been a win if we didn't decide to let Mother Nature be MSU's 12th and most valuable player.
The fact that our gameplan completely ignored the weather situation was mind-boggling. Hopefully the coaches learned their lesson about Mother Nature, and someone please advise Gattis that it would be beneficial to factor it into his plan tomorrow!
I have the maize ones and I really love the quality. I think I paid $70 at the mden, which is a lot, but I take care of my clothes so I expect them to last a long time
Well the first one he fumbled he tried to pick it up and kick it almost fumbling again. I never thought it would be an issue again but apparently it may be
This may be a game where DJ Wilson plays some stretch four to cover Swanigan. He played some earlier in the year but always against small cupcake teams
This has been my bedroom since I was 9 years old including the paint, borders, giant rug and pennants. Once I went away to college (Currently finishing my last semester at Michigan) my dad let me take this Michigan theme to a whole new level by giving me iconic memorabilia for every birthday and major holiday.
Classic Bo, yet to be hung.
Piece of yost pre-renovation signed by Red.
1969 Ohio State game picture with lots of signatures including Bo's.
Tre's signed shot against Kansas
1997 Rose bowl pic with tickets from the home games
Classic Bo screaming at Harbaugh yet to be hung.
Signed Desmond striking the heisman pose. This one is probably my favorite one out of all of them but its hard to choose.
Isn't that the same kind of thing that Moeller said during his incident? I've been told if he hadn't been running his mouth about Michigan he probably wouldn't have been fired, but he was giving the university a bad name by flaunting that he was the head coach
I have been able to watch almost every game the last two years with on the Internet using someone's cable login and pass. It has worked great, I know not everyone has access to someone else's cable though
"either you’re getting better or you’re getting worse, you’re never staying the same."
For some reason I really like this idea. Helps to fight complacency which no doubt would be hard to ignore as such a successful athlete to go to a big pond like Michigan and not contribute right away.
As long as the transferred ticket is scanned you got credit in 2013.
My friend couldn't make it to a bunch of games so I always took different people. When we went down to Atlanta there were different priority groups based on how many games you went to and I was worried we would be in different groups since I went to all the games and he didn't. That was not the case though and we were put in the same group with high priority.
Is there any other school with a better combo of basketball and football coaches? We are truly blessed to have both of these guys running our programs the right way.
