Let me start by saying that…

Let me start by saying that the NCAA is terrible. Investigate, gather evidence, construct a case, and then divulge your findings. What they are doing now is complete BS! They did nothing about the Alabama doping scandal, or the recruiting violations, or the fact that osu was accused of the same infractions that Michigan is being accused of 4 years ago. Duke paying Zion Williamson. UNC and all of the class and fake results. KANSAS!!!! Clemson's steroid issues. The actions of the NCAA are dangerous and reckless. Have they not set themselves up for the double whammy of libel and slander? I know enough evidence has been presented for something to happen, but I am disappointed about the process  versus other schools aligations. All of this points to things being just money under the table.

2005 Rose Bowl vs Texas…

2005 Rose Bowl vs Texas. Shawn Crable gets a piece of the game winning field goal and it still goes through the uprights. Sadness.

Develop....do you know what that means?

A few college coaches run the same style, preach the same defensive hustle and runs an openCourt. That doesn't means he develops players. Since you did not mention a well developed player he has coached, I think my point stands. Learn to not be a dick.

Calipari Does NOT Develop players!!!!

Name me one. He takes NBA ready players andgives them high exposure. He books tournaments wgen noone else is playing. He lets players pad stats with cupcake games. How does he do when he doesn't have the most talented team? He loses. What is his excuse when he has the most talented team but doesn't win? They are young. He is the basketball equivalent to Nick Saban. Nothing more than a holding tank for players. The same playerscould benefit, or get their wweaknesses exposed, at other places. Calipari is a vacuum salesman. No disrespect to vacuum salesmen.

Temp Control = Historic #s

1,2,11,47,48,77,98 and current stadium capacity. Just a thought?

It Doesn't Mean A Thing

He can still take another job. All the extension does is make hime more money. He is leaving. He is a serial competitor. He mauy not be going to UT but the Houston Texans and Washington Bravehearts have to be appealing. At 62, you are probably tired of recruiting. Money talks, BS takes a trip down the street on the uneven pavement.

Hand Him Over

Saban, he gone. If not to Texas, then maybe to the Washington Bravehearts but I think that is Jon Gruden's job to turn down first. Muschamp is out at Florida. They might be waiting on Franklin from Vandy. Narduzzi will get either the UConn or the soon to be vacant Vandy job. Boise has a vacancy that Dennis Erickson can probably fill.

This is all speculation but doesn't it make sence? Also, it is so much more fun to speculate about other teams' uncertainty. Hand, McDowell and Ballage....let's complete this class and focus on a B1G title and a trip to the playoff. Word to engineering majors, 6'2" running backs putting up 4.3 forties and killer DE who can play in three different spots. Oh let's do this.

Fluker

He is putting in work for the Chargers.

Thanks For Making My Point

"to the NFL realized he couldn't hack it and back to college. "

Also, there is always a bit of truth in a rumor. Houston, Austin, tax beneficial state, etc. Alabama had only a few wins in his first year. The Big XII has a "easier way to the national championship game" per experts.

The writing is on the wall. Saban? He gone.

So what happens when...

Nick Saban leaves for his next job? I'm a little tired of this whole "coaching situation being brought up as an excuse for indecision. I get it, they are 18 year old kids. It is time for us to take off the kid gloves and bare knuckle fight for our recruits. Saban has not come out with a statement, a la Brandon, regarding his status with Alabama. The time is now for us to start playing by the other guys' rules.

The Problems I See

1. Our OC was happy to not have Denard Robinson but calls situational plays that are for his skill set and not Gardner's.
2. Said OC is predictable.
3. Our QB needs to finish runs (dive forward, slide, lower a shoulder, Sprint out of bounds, jump, etc.).
4. The offensive scheme utilizes unnecessary QB footwork/fakes/faints/fluff.
5. Our TE need to work on his hand strength, speed, and transition to WR to be the next Megatron, not a tweener TE.
6. The blocking scheme sucks. We are catching DL on run plays, looking people to block on pass plays, missing when they blitz, zero push, and too many switches.

I....

Am William Wallace! Copp has got some skill and passion for the game. He has that hate to lose switch.

Nope!

Sparty put up big numbers on them. Nuff said.

hmmmm

So what does that say about you? Stop the chastising on this board. Sparty has one for that sort of crap. What are you doing up? Stop being a dick if you havenothing to contribute. Sorry other posters. I rarely chime in because of dBags buy we generally have some great participants.

A Bunch

Started off with some Vuve and mimosas. tranferred to some Corona. Washed that down with a margarita. i capped it all with a bottle of Chard.

You Can Teach

You can teach speed. You can't teach height.

Mix back

He comes in with a full back, you stack the run. He motions out...you're screwed. He is going to stir the pot.

Nope!

As I said on the other post. He is Vincint Smith 2.0 or Darren Sproles 1.2.5. Funny how I got no credit for this. No need. I am  not a glory hound. Good pick up.

But I Passed To The Left

Puff puff pass man.

Well, maybe

Well, maybe it could be him as a upcoming walk on since GRCC no longer has a football team,

Dennis Norfleet

Vincent Smith 2.0/Darren Sporles 1.2.5 LE

I peed

just a little and I am not talking about Isiah Pead.

D. Bogard

Sorry for any mispelling but what about Devon Bogard? Him and/or Dennis Norfleet. Shane's Darren Sproles.

T-Mac

Taylor McNamara? Hmmmmmm. Doubt it but just bouncing off of your idea. Good thought. I was thinking. Someone local, TE/WR/OL or someone like Dennis Norfleet.

Red Grange

Duh.

At Last..

Hendricks and tonic, Macallan 10, Joel Gott and Long Board Lager...rough week gents.

I'm sure he meant...

1) Because I would love playing along side @erikmagnuson77, he's my bro and 2) I hate ohio!

He Will b/c Meyer

will paint him as the next Percy Harvin. Remember Diggs, Desmond Howard got all the hardware (Heisman, Bilitnikof, Super Bowl, SB MVP etc....) not Percy. Go Blue!!!!

Boycott the BCS Rematch Game

I am on a mission to do away with the BCS aka the SEC Ponzi Scheme. Your help and support is appreciated. If you have a problem with it, please don't watch it and tell anothers. I can't support a system like that. If no one whatches, the revenue won't be there and they will have to change to get viewers. let's force their hand.

There Is No Need...

to have automatic bids if there isn't going to be a playoff. It doesn't make sense to do that but they continue to do so.

Remember Urban Meyer Saying...

Remember when Michigan and ohio were 1-2 and we lost the last game? Urban Meyer made the argument that "they already played and had their chance", this referring to Michigan. People also made case that Michigan didn't win their conference. So, I say to the scenario above, HELL NO. If Georgia wins the SEC title, no SEC team should be in the BCS Championship game. The unwritten rules can't change to tailor to the SEC. I'm tired of that shady conference. I would rather see Houston vs Boise St.

You are correct, howeva...

you need to provide proof of residency with substantial evidence. In state DL, property taxes, utility bills, etc.

He's Mike Hart

Only faster, 6 inches taller, 10 lbs heavier....

I Expect To See

Borges run some pass plays that will roll DRob out of the pocket. Illini have some pretty good pass rushers. I also would like to see some tailback ISO plays. I would like to see more curl routes by our recievers. If the Illini go man-to-man in the secondary, I want to throw it deep. Koger should have a good game. I like bacon. Random thoughts.

What's Missing?

The bread and butter. TB ISO plays (with a FB). Curl routes by the WR and TEs. Is something wrong with Denard? He looks slower and less explosive this year. What is Borges doing? Call plays that Gardner can complete. On the last drive, move the pocket and give Drob an option.

BBB

Booze, Bud and Bitches.

I See Your Drink

and raise your four more. We were out coached. This goes back to my MSU loss reply. We did not throw enough curl routes. We did not run enough ISO plays. They doubled out inside DL and our DEs got minimal pressure. Robbed on a few ref calls. PI, TD and some interior holding.

My Guess

44 - 16 Michigan

He Would Be....

A 2013 recruit.

Whaaaaaaaaat?

I think he takes it. Some roots there as the OC and it is in the south. he will take it if the money is right. Tulane will be a school that may look to move conferences too (IMO). The job is tailored for him. An unsuspecting team where there isn't much pressure, a place where he can insert his system without the pressure and he will be able to scrape from some really good JuCos.

Really?

I think something else is going on there. He is a name that is never mentioned. I think he is a better fit at 3 if he can't beat out Black and Roh.

What Has Happened To...

Wilkins? I remeber during his recruitment he was referred to as being physically college ready. what happened?

I Agree, However...

Denard needs to be 100%. We really need to focus on our base running game (running backs) and blocking. Denard can get us 125 yards on broken plays. Imagine how many yards throwing he can get if (insert back here) can get 125-150. He needs to be healthy, the line and coaching staff need to be discipline in their techniques and the WRs need to catch the easy/semi-easy balls. I would take Devin starting if it means Denard is healthy for ILL, NE and ohio.

Today Is Why We Need...

Will Cambell to become/develop his game. RVB needs to be anchoring down opposite of Roh. Roh needs to become Gholston-esque (minus the cheap shots, and protein shake rage). An I-Formation running play with our running back that can produce 4 yards...this is Michigan ya know. We need to have some play calling confidence in our running backs. I still want to see Denard, Smith, Shaw and Fitz in the back field. Motion two of them out and now you have LBs on them. Mix-match...all day. Was there something wrong with Denard today? He didn't look as quick and fast. More hesistant to run than normal? We also need some players to step in soon. Here are a few ; Demar Dorsey, Josh Garnett, Zach Banner, Ondre Pipkins and Jarrod Wilson.

Even though I am fustrated with the loss, it will help our team put some issues in perspective. ISO running back plays. It will open up the I-formation play action. Thanks Borges. Tackiling. It is something we still need to work on. Footwork and catching the ball. Blocking, both pass and run. Finally, capitalizing on field position and opponent turnovers.

Oy!

Oy!

Containment

We lost outside containment a few times but we were out flanked each time. Counter Tre left and right and our backers were still being blocked. We were out coached today. we needed better play from our QB(s) too.

From My View

1) We did not finish tackles. We hit a guy and he and the he gets 2-4 more yards. Sure we are hitting and wrapping but we weren't hitting, wrapping and driving through the player. 2) the corner blitz. Dude! Really!!! 3) Gholston or should I say anyone coming off of our RT. I don't like calling our players out but C'mon Man! 4) Play calling. You are killing me here. What happened to Man Ball? 4 inches and you call play action? 5) denard did not look like Denard the whole game. He looked not as fast, not as quick and hesitant to run...on a windy day. Whomever is in his ear....GET OUT OF IT!. Ya killing me Smalls. Lil Bro is becoming Peyton Manning while we are sitting here like Cooper.

Block This

No. The refs at the college level have a hard time at calling it. They are, however, easy on the illegal man down field (for screens and pass options).

Nothing will happen..

There will be a small, if any, penalty. It is an SEC team. Boise St. was dealt with schollie losses.

Is there a need to?

NW and Ill are in a situation where it makes sense for them to do that. The only way I would want Michigan to play at Comerica or Ford is if it counts as a Spartan home game. We have an iconic stadium. We fill the seats at every home game. Our alumni and fan base is massive. IMO...no.
