About Justice Hayes as he ran out on the field this year in The Game? Often times we all say things and our players do the same thing. What's the difference?
Pick, I cannot believe with all the needs this team has but at the same time how close they could have been with a great draft and Mayhew takes a receiver? Are you fucking kidding me???
This year will be, we'll go stretches where we hit the shit out of the ball and stretches where we slump. A lot of long swings on this team, not a whole lot of manufacturing...

Burke needs more time in college, I hope he is an all-star but unfortunately I think he will end up like other recent UM guards who leave early, drafted late and barely hanging on.
I know this is Michigan fergodsakes but dayyyyummmm! When the hell did this program do any of those before! What makes you think we can do all of those? I'd take B1G titles and a final 4 every 6-8 years...Go Blue!
First, as mentioned several times, if Trey does in fact leave, no way he is a 1st round pick, horrible, horrible move, in fact whoever advises these kids need to get a clue because a lot of kids need to stay on school, Burke included. JB isn't going anywhere unless something is going on behind the scenes that we aren't aware of. For Christ sake, he just won a share of the B1G title.
But talk about a game that symbolizes RR's tenure...I think this is one of the most embarrassing games I remember...from the lack of defense, the final score, and how we paraded around like we just won the Rose Bowl even though it was only a won against Zook and Illinois and a bowl eligible one....
If RGIII ISA star this will be a 'win' for the 'skins. I'm no scout but I just don't see him being a star in the NFL. If that is the case, Washington is behind another 5 years.
Denard has struggled mightily against top defenses. This is his 3rd year as starter so I'm sure he will improve but I wouldn't anticipate an ND performance, probably more along the lines of VaTech but without Hemingway.
For a great season, I can't wait, I just question whether they are going to live up to all the hype. Defensively, they could be dreadful. Who will be the clubhouse leader???

The guy was given a penalty, paid the price...long over due. He was an absolute beast player, most of my memories of Michigan basketball evolve around Mr. Webber. I don't think the University and him will make amends anytime soon...I don't see Brandon bringing him back to the arena/game for a long time. I think there will unfortunately always be a black cloud around Webber and UM...
they would have signed a QB for 2012, I think it is going to be hard to convince a kid that he has a legitimate chance of playing when you have Gardner, Bellomy, and Morris in front of him, especially when Shane is a 2013 commit. Although, who the hell am I to question this staff...they know what they are doing.
had me thinking of something more newsworthy...really, what's the big deal with Urban offering guys we do...isn't the objective to try and recruit the best players?
at this point like many have said it is best to have a good combination, tough to find one who can do it all, that's why we only hand out the #1 on rare occassions. Having larger receivers, 6'3 or taller is a bigger weapon than what we currently have, seems to be more options, as well as better production in the area of blocking...sans Tay Odoms.
I know he liked the short and speedy type receivers but my question is...where are they? seems like Hoke has gotten more that type than RR...Hayes and possibly Norfleet. To me, it seemed like RR recruited a lot of slot ninjas but really none of them have/had blazing speed.
too tall to play where he is, his technique has seemingly improved but too often this is his problem. For me, he needs about 3-5 sacks, take up some double teams so our linebackers can get stops, after that, I don't care about any honors, play with good technique, get a few tackles for loss, help the team win!
If they don't want to do a November game then that leaves Notre Dame, Akron, Indiana, Minnesota??? Out of those, looks like Notre Dame. Nebraska is November 9...why no November game?? To me, Nebraska would be the one.
Relax! Signing day is a year away! Feel better about what? We just got a top 10 recruiting class and have 2 good players who have verbally committed next year. Let Logan make his visits...
The other day mentioned this, I can't remember who but Diamond has visited many times, tight with Chris Bryant, said the right things, etc. But hasn't committed yet? Why not? I just think it would have happened already...not even thinking about him, if he comes, great, if not, oh well...
That but if a kid ends up flipping how can anybody be pissed? If he flipped then he wasn't ever committed...why would you want a kid who could be convinced to switch on a dime.
Anything more than recruiting guys that are verbally committed, who cares. One of the few things RR said that I agreed with had something to do with, "until they sign their LOI, they aren't committed anywhere."

We get Penn State again in 2014. I don't understand why the Big Ten doesn't want night games in November? Just plain dumb.
