Is that picture of X's…

Is that picture of X's terrifying face at the top just a different angle of the same one in Noah Neidlinger's right picture? Or does he just always make that face?

To be fair, we were ranked…

To be fair, we were ranked lower in all those previous games.

You know what dream is dead?…

You know what dream is dead? My dream of having Kareem Walker and Tyrone Wheatley, Jr. on the field at the same time. The unstoppable "Kareem of Wheatley", that's what dream is dead.

Still embarrassed, but it's

Still embarrassed, but it's not occupying my every thought. I am predicting 11.5 total wins next year (yeah, yeah, not enough of a spine to pick a solid integer).

Well, worst thing in terms of

Well, worst thing in terms of the embarrassment I felt. I did consider the game of which you speak, but ultimately everyone knew it was one (really, really) bad play in an otherwise good game. Yesterday and App State had extended periods of bad playing.

I don't believe Harbaugh is

I don't believe Harbaugh is perfect, but his history is that of a decent coach and I trust he will make some appropriate changes.

People are frustrated because that second half sucked more than anything since App State. Bad plays happen. Rarely do we see the cluster of crap we saw in the span of about 20 minutes. Fumbling 3 yards from another TD? Handoff to a TE? Punt return off a facemask? It's frustrating. Let the people vent for a little while.

I kind of like the way people

I kind of like the way people brawled in 1942. They did it in such a way that nobody would really get hurt.

100% agreed with this post.

100% agreed with this entire post.

Nothing humble about it. And

Nothing humble about it. And I have no problem with that, so long as the statement is true.

Thank You!

I came here to say this. This stuff used to be classified as hazardous waste. Now we just throw it on turf and children's playgrounds.

Michigan wins a hard-fought battle

25-15 Blue (and I mean real Blue, not that pansy-colored Florida hue)

Agreed with this last point,

Agreed with this last point, as it sort of goes with one of my posts.

And as a related aside, I've been saying for several years now that real tax fairness (not the flat tax or fair tax ideas) would be to tax wealth not income. Very difficult to implement, however. But if you look at how this would change incentives, it would be a beautiful thing.

My own post ignores one

My own post ignores one important issue. In addition to any number of things, Ann Arbor is also desireable due to the people. And plenty, if not most, of those cool people are not rich. If they get priced out, we lose a significant something.

I suggested there was no way around this, but there is. It has to do with subsidized housing, and the people who receive it. I believe it's kind of a difficult issue when you get into the implementation, but it is certainly a part of a possible solution. Still doesn't require massive ugly buildings blocking all the light.

Although I have an Ann Arbor

Although I have an Ann Arbor address, I am not an Ann Arbor voter. Still, I work downtown, love Ann Arbor (hell I was born here and was never far away) and have an opinion.

I enjoyed Brian's thoughtful piece but simply disagree with the overly pro-development point of view. Ann Arbor is good BECAUSE of the green spaces, BECAUSE you can walk around in the summer without being in the shadow of some monstrosity, etc. If you want to live in Livonia or Troy, for God's sake move there.

If Ann Arbor continues to be good, it will ALWAYS attract rich people. There's no way around it. And those rich people will price out other people. I don't see how this is avoidable. Get your mortgage now before it REALLY gets out of control.

This is surely an incredible

This is surely an incredible disappointment in this young man's life. I can feel the pain as he apologies to Coach Harbaugh even though he doesn't need to. I wish him the best in growing from this experience and achieving his other goals. Go Blue!

So excited that everybody's

So excited that everybody's okay and with this trouncing of Illinois. I'm hoping the adrenaline can keep flowing for another day, but I wouldn't be too surprised if a presumably bad night of sleep catches up with them at some point during the tournament.

Thank you jabberwock, I

Thank you jabberwock, I needed that. Saved it on my computer.

Oh, and the whole interview was gold. JH entertains me.

"Carr tested out something

"Carr tested out something like shield punting in 2003 then scrapped it when it cost him a game against Iowa ... In 2015 Harbaugh brought in special teams guru John Baxter and the spread was once again installed, presumably for good."

As I recall, it might have cost us a game in 2015 as well, but that part of my memory is partially blocked out.

Maybe I'm not a proper homer, but ...

If you lose two games, you simply can't complain about not getting in the playoff. And yes, I mean that even if there are other two-loss teams that get in that you think you're better than.

Furthermore, Bo was all about winning the Big Ten first, and we failed to do that.

THIS

Why don't we just trade this year's non-call on Bush with last year's BS call on Bolden and be done with it?

Dauber?
Anyway, did anybody

Dauber?

Anyway, did anybody besides me think the targeting call on the PSU linebacker was complete BS? Honestly, it was worse than the Bolden call last year. Then compare it to the play in the ND-Texas game where Torii Hunter Jr. got a concussion and there was no targeting call, even after a review.

I just don't understand the random application of this rule, and honestly it ruins games when people lose the ejection lottery like that. How is randomly throwing people out of the game making it any safer?

Regarding the collision

Regarding the collision between Peppers and Colorado's athletic trainer. Watch it again and keep your eyes on the trainer's hat. The way it is spinning in place where he used to be is like a frickin' cartoon.
