I bet he's also a real "student of the game", "another coach on the field" or "heady" qb.

"We're going to play 13 games and your travel partner twice, which would be Western Kentucky for us," said D'Antoni. "Then they are going to seed the schools. If you finish in the top five, No. 1 through No. 5 will play each other for the next four games to get 18 games.

Since when is MSU's football coach involved with CUSA basketball schedules?

05/08/2018 - 11:00pm Yep. This time of year late

Yep. This time of year late arrivals to MLB games will sometimes result in cheap tickets. Check out minor league baseball games, if you’re in a small town.
Bad weather? Don’t be afraid to see a movie by yourself.
Always more work to be done, pounding out spreadsheets and emails I’m the hotel room, or from a quiet bar somewhere.
Hit up current or former colleagues to join you for dinner. That’s always good networking.
You can always spend a half hour by calling your parents/kids/significant other.

Often times, yes. I think this level of sports is sometimes different, in that regard.

If Hill is hurt by public comments about his toughness, though, he may want to skip playing at the next level because they won’t hesitate to call out a player’s toughness in the media, if that player appears to be unwilling to play through a couple dings.

"Does this probably cause a few white guys to slip through the athletic cracks because of stereotypes? Sure. But overall, the stereotype holds true and that is why most CBs, WRs, RBs, etc. are black. "

Are you okay with a few black guys (QB's) slipping through the cracks because of stereotypes?

I'm probably being a little unfair, so I'm sorry.  But I think you get where I'm coming from.

Stereotypes are inherently unfair.

Right.  It's the equivolent of expressing suprise that a black QB scored well on a wonderlic test.

White people can run fast and black people are smart.  Stop buying into stereotypes.

I believe the guy he's referring to is a Co-OC.  I think the idea (although it sounds like it's too late) is that giving the guy full OC duties here would be the reason he would come.

01/03/2018 - 8:56am SF was also playing in the

SF was also playing in the NFC west, which had St Louis, Seattle and Arizona.  If I remember correctly, those teams all had pretty good to great defenses during Harbaugh's time in SF.  Running on Seattle and St. Louis, especially, a total of four games a year (25% of his schedule) couldn't have been easy.

01/03/2018 - 8:50am There's also the old saying

There's also the old saying about whether a team really wants to be at that bowl game.  UCF obviously wanted in the CFP, but the slight put a big chip on their shoulder.

Auburn likewise wanted to be in the CFP, but having had their chance, that bowl was a big disappointment.

Those teams approached that game from two very different perspectives, with the definite advantage sitting on UCF's side of the field.

I've only ever caught his show a few times.

I'm actually almost 100% sports talk radio free.  Boycotted Valenti 3 or 4 years ago, which was probably 3 or 4 years too late.  I don't even listen to Karsh and Anderson anymore.  They were probably my favorite.  They seemed pretty objective, unless you pissed off Anderson.

I might only listen to about 30 minutes per week, usually when I tune in to Sam in the morning.  His show is even pretty hard to listen to, getting past all the commercials, live reads (commercials) and updates on sports and/or teams and/or cooking/restaurants I don't care much about.

I'm split on this.  It sounds like it was athletically motivated.  It sounds like he was going to Clarkston to play with the PG that's also committed to MSU.

However, if the kid legitimately moves, why can't he play.

I'd have to know more about his living arrangement before making a final decision, though.  What exactly is his rent?  Who is his landlord?  Did he actually, on his own, find an apartment or is he renting from the PG's family or from an MSU booster?

Need more facts, man.  Lol.  Either way, sucks for the kid.

Never rely on the MHSAA to do the right thing.  That is one of the worst run organizations ever.
