At least our Risk play is being consistent with our actual football team

if you're not already worn out from banging AFWolverine, i could use a little love too. i'm closing in on 3 star status and could use all the help i can get.

I'm so sorry you're embarrassed by your sport blog of choice. May I suggest trying RCMB where you can focus on more meaninful OT threads like titties and beer?

05/07/2018 - 3:55pm So this is the real

So this is the real problem:

"And from what my eyes told me watching the game, OMs OL may have also been slightly worse than UofMs. Idk, hard to compare bad to bad and declare a "who's a little better" of just eye test and no metrics, but it's possible they were slightly not as good."
It doesn't matter if our OL is a little better than Ole Miss's, it's probably still in the same range.

05/07/2018 - 2:05pm "Initial reviews of the Bama

"Initial reviews of the Bama and LSU indicate that the Ole Miss OL fell apart against top-end rushers and Patterson spent a lot of time running for his life."

So given our OL situation, those games should be pretty informative for games we're actually interested in?

04/04/2018 - 8:50am Doubtful. Bunting was clearly

Doubtful. Bunting was clearly passed by Gentry and McKeon, so this is more like a 2/10.

He could be a solid contributor at another school, so I hope those skillet find more pig skin to fry at Cal!

I dunno, seems like he'd happily fluff our rivals if they were in the Final Four.

Other way around maybe? You just described a typical Kentucky team... or MSU this year!

shorts aren't short enough. it'll take another 3 years before they'll be adequately short for the NBA.

02/12/2018 - 1:25pm I'm a nuclear engineer, so if

I'm a nuclear engineer, so if I screw up, I am ABSOLUTELY endangering children.

Anyway, see my other comments. I have no issue with what Schlissel is saying. I do have an issue with the OP's attitude.

02/12/2018 - 12:28pm Maybe my reading

Maybe my reading comprehension isn't up to snuff (possible, I'm an engineer), but I thougt the main thrust of the Freep thing was that there's a lack of transparency. They didn't explicitly say there was shady shit going on (though they may have left that as the logical conclusion), but they made the valid point that there could be shady shit going on and better transparency would prevent that. Schlissel is basically just saying "everything is on the up and up," which I do believe. But that doesn't mean more transparency to keep it that way is a bad idea.

Also, I mostly just object to the original post's blanket dismissal of the Freep's position because of a decade old grudge.

02/12/2018 - 12:26pm Again, I wasn't arguing

Again, I wasn't arguing against Schlissel, but rather against the OP's blind dismissal of the issue.

02/12/2018 - 11:59am Cool, let's blindly trust

Cool, let's blindly trust Schlissel in this matter. I'm sure he has no vested interest.

I'm not saying the Free Press isn't full of shit, but if you need an example of why it's a bad idea to just believe whatever your school's president says, maybe look a few miles west...

02/08/2018 - 9:03am The B1G tried to create a

The B1G tried to create a level playing field-- remember the Leaders and Legends divisions? (Totally understandable if you blacked that out, actually.) We all bitched about it. Either we have divisions that make geographic/rivalry sense or we have an unbalanced schedule. Pick your poison.

02/07/2018 - 11:14am I'm sorry, but these comments

I'm sorry, but these comments are always so dumb. Of course it's hard to imagine choosing South Bend over Ann Arbor when you're a dedicated enough Michigan fan to be on this blog. I can't imagine choosing a pale ale over a stout, but that doesn't mean I can't imagine someone else doing so.

This rage isn't directed specifically toward you. These kinds of comments appear all over the board and I've finally lost it.

02/01/2018 - 3:32pm Right, I saw the link. But

Right, I saw the link. But that link doesn't provide any source for their list of "facts", which quickly and clearly delve into opinions labeled as facts. I don't necessarily disagree with the opinions, but if that's fact, it need to be supported.

The very next page from the website provides sourced statistics (http://riseaboveabuse.org/child-sex-abuse-statistics/), which doesn't include that outrageous number.

02/01/2018 - 3:24pm sorry for the small squabbles

sorry for the small squabbles but...
"The average number of victims a pedophile has is about 250."

I just have a really hard time believing that's anywhere remotely true. Which then make me question the validity of anything else being said.

01/24/2018 - 1:52pm So you're contending that

So you're contending that championship teams require NFL talent at every single position? Maybe I'm wrong (I'm not going to take the time to look it up), but I would be shocked if any (non-Alabama) teams had NFL players at every position on even one side of the ball.

01/17/2018 - 9:45am I've never posted in here, so

I've never posted in here, so not quite sure how this works, but can we please get rid of Boner Stabone's MSU joke in the WSU QB suicide thread?

02/23/2017 - 2:13pm Spotify's user interface

Spotify's user interface isn't always the most friendly, but it's not too bad. I'd recommend giving them another try. Their music library runs very deep; you will not run into the problems you're describing with Amazon Unlimited.

They also used to be more restrictive (for example, you couldn't play a particular album in order on the phone, only shuffle), but that seems to have disappeared.

And even for the $10 a month full price, totally worth it. It has a totally comprehensive library and let's you play anything from your phone with the membership.

02/15/2017 - 11:12am Well said. I absolutely

Well said. I absolutely loathe the 1 and 1 while I'm watching Michigan. I know that Michigan is stastically a good free throw team under Beilein. I know that means that the 1 and 1 has almost certainly been beneficial to us. These appeals to reason are completely overwhelmed by a memory bias that insists no team has ever missed the front end of a 1 and 1 and Michigan misses half of them.

So the 1 and 1 is terrible. And for that power to toally override logic, to stimulate panic in the fan, it is fantastic.

01/25/2017 - 9:19am Definitely a valid point, but

removing my comment because i'm a goddamn idiot and confused frey with funk. former o-line coaches under failed head coaches with four letter names that start with f. (can i at least get an upvote for alliteration???)
