|04/07/2012 - 4:06pm||whats the||
|04/03/2012 - 10:44am||Scout indicates||
he has offers from us, MSU, and Ohio
|03/11/2012 - 4:56pm||I know we beat||
Memphis already this season. However, this isn't exactly a cupcake 2nd round matchup. They are long and athletic. That's the type of team that can and will give Michigan problems. Although I believe Michigan could beat them again if this matchup does happen, this is far from a dream match up.
|02/19/2012 - 7:17pm||and||
|02/18/2012 - 3:28pm||He is also||
a four star and a 90 overall to 24/7. I don't understand why so many people are saying Dawson is unranked.
|02/03/2012 - 9:31pm||yea...||
How dare he have fun with the recruiting process...
|01/22/2012 - 10:54am||Per TomVh...||
Stonum's departure does not effect the amount of scholarships available this year.
|01/10/2012 - 7:50pm||O'Brien is not coming to michigan...||
Our good friend TomVH has said as much and stated that without going into too much detail that if O'Brien did decommit...he still wouldn't choose Michigan
|01/10/2012 - 7:38pm||It isn't O'Brien...||
TomVH also stated he was a 4 star recruit. Espn has O'Brien has a 3 star recruit.
|12/18/2011 - 6:30pm||nope...||
they're like anyone else and are just trying to get the best possible recruits. Besides, you take a kid a highly touted as Spence whenever he wants to commit.
|11/25/2011 - 9:35am||for anyone with scouting knowledge...||
and who is adept at breaking down film, I was wondering who looks like the better prospect, Diamond or Garnett. I know the scouting sites are higher on Garnett, but with both visiting, I am just looking for additional personal opinions about which one appears to have higher upside (Ace heres looking at you).
|10/11/2011 - 10:24pm||Can anyone compare||
the strengths and weaknesses of Payton, Darboh, and Powe, i.e. what type of receiver they are?
|10/07/2011 - 11:25am||Garnett visit date?||
Has Garnett set up a visit date?
|10/02/2011 - 10:10am||http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/natl|
|10/02/2011 - 10:03am||I like them as well...||
and did the btn annoucer say that Hoke choose to keep them because the players wanted them?
|09/03/2011 - 10:38pm||it wasnt||
an injury that happened in the game. He was out prior to the game.
|09/03/2011 - 10:13pm||i was disappointed||
in the lack of a pass rush by our front four. I was especially hopeful/excited to see Roh apply constant pressure all day. However, much of the game I didn't even notice him on the field.
|04/22/2011 - 4:33pm||thanks for the info...||
Regarding Deon Bush, ESPN has him as a strong florida lean FWIW.
|04/22/2011 - 2:33pm||Magnus, or Tim...||
at the bottom of the post it talks about taking a safety or two. I haven't heard much of anything regarding Michigans recruitment of the safety position. Could either of you two shed any light on where we stand with any safety recruits?
|04/01/2011 - 1:24pm||Just outta curiosity...||
who do u feel is a better prospect...Biegel or Ringer?
|03/20/2011 - 3:52pm||A 6'4"||
NBA power forward who's career averages on 22 pts and 11 rebounds fulfilled his potential. He's also recognized as one of the 50 best NBA players of all time. What is your definition of reaching potential?
|03/07/2011 - 1:47pm||Tennessee as a 6 seed?||
They are 8-8 in the SEC and 18-13 overall with numerous bad losses. Unless I missed it, Lunardi doesnt even have them making the tourney.
Edit: nevermind, Lunardi has them as a 9 seed...still seems high.
|02/18/2011 - 3:32pm||do u have the link||
that has his dad saying that?
|02/15/2011 - 11:54pm||Not so sure||
theyll nosedive next year. If the recent college basketball trend has taught us anything, that is the trend that began after the rule that stipulated everyone had to go to college one year before entering the draft, its that freshman can have a huge impact on a college basketball team. As of now, St. Johns has 5 4-star recruits signed to LOI's, four of whom are ranked in the top 21 of their positions. They also have another 4 star and a 5 star (the number 2 ranked center overall) who have yet to sign their LOIs. St. Johns could be a major player next season.
|02/10/2011 - 4:55pm||because||
plagarism is never a big deal.
|02/06/2011 - 11:30am||also...||
espn has MSU ranked higher than our class yet our espn avg. is higher than little brother's.
|02/02/2011 - 11:31am||Does that mean UCF||
actually swayed him?
|01/24/2011 - 12:23pm||agree...||
I dont understand why people bash Miles as a coach. Are his ethics questionable? Sure. But all the guy does is win games no matter how ugly the wins may be, but to insinuate that the guy isn't a very good coach is ridiculous.
|01/24/2011 - 11:34am||speaking of Countess...||
whats your feeling on him? Do you think he stays with Michigan?
|01/24/2011 - 11:14am||you think||
we steal cooper this late in the process? I hope you're right.
|01/23/2011 - 9:12pm||thats what i was hoping as well...||
but it's still a very scary comment. After hearing that Cooper may be back in play following his meeting with Mattison, he may be the most important possible additon to this class.
|01/23/2011 - 2:01pm||I believe||
its been reported previously that he is having academic issues and wouldnt qualify.
|01/23/2011 - 1:59pm||Who||
else is in serious contention for McClure?
|01/23/2011 - 1:28pm||hopefully||
we get more than just one more from this weekend, would love to have both McClure and Willingham.
|01/23/2011 - 1:27pm||agree...||
although it would be great if we secured both of their commitments, if we get one of the two I would be happy. And of those two, I'd rather have Willingham only because LB is a bigger need and we have a few db's already committed.
|01/22/2011 - 12:59pm||agree...||
but if Hoke and company are able to get pull commits from McClure, Raven, Willingham, etc this late in the process...I'd say thats a pretty good indicator that recruiting should/will be a strength of this staff in the future.
|01/22/2011 - 12:55pm||um...||
I'll take McClure and Raven with that group as well
|01/21/2011 - 11:27am||One of my best friends||
is a sparty fan (commence the neg bombs) and he feels the same way you do about them being better next year although their record probably wont show it. IMO, the bow game revealed the real sparty team as they needed the greatest amount of luck to beat ND, NW, and Purdue. However, Ill give credit where credit is due.
Next year, I feel Illinois will be improved. Their qb (I wont even try to spell his name) is going to be a good one for the next few years. OSU will again be the team to beat as they return their 5 best following their 1st Big Ten game. I also see Nebraska struggling. They had the 106th (I believe) rated pass offense and in the big ten you cannot be one-dimensional.
|01/20/2011 - 10:50am||Has there||
been any rumors of a possible in-home visit with Zettel?
|01/19/2011 - 10:16pm||ok||
thanks for the response
|01/19/2011 - 10:16pm||never thought it was...||
i was more wondering if it was potentially one of our recruits possibly wavering
|01/19/2011 - 10:12pm||DG...||
just saw on your twitter that boblichtenfels (dont know if hes an insider of sorts) said something about a current big ten commit who may possibly change his committment...can you offer any insight....anything do with us?
|01/19/2011 - 4:14pm||IMHO its prolly because||
that they told him could play WR, that they just won a NC and arent/werent going through a coaching "process"
|01/18/2011 - 10:30pm||isnt it thought||
that Jon Hoke doesn't like to recruit either?
|01/17/2011 - 1:50pm||after the past 3 Michigan defense's||
I'll take a defense that ranks in the 50s or even 60s. I think a "good" defense may be a stretch at this point.
|01/14/2011 - 12:06pm||I think||
jg was confused by your comment saying that hoke will never get duys like Dorsey and believed you were indicating that he couldnt recruit high level guys like that.
|01/14/2011 - 12:00pm||agree...||
and aside from his ability to be a great DC...this would allow Michigan to continue its recruiting presence in Florida, which is pretty damn important.
Miami's defensive rankings with Shannon as DC:
2001 - 6th
2002 - 7th
2003 - 2nd
2005 - 4th
2006 - 7th
|01/12/2011 - 11:59pm||I was||
going to include those as well, but I decided against it because close losses are still losses.
|01/12/2011 - 11:58pm||completely||
