I am friends with 1 of the stations hosts and he even confirmed that on valentis show they only air the idiot UM callers & take the smart sparty callers (if there is such a thing). Personally i cant stand radio personalities that use the shock jock route to get attention. Valentis been telling us how to live our lives since he was 22 years old & continues to do so now thats hes barely 30.
I never like seeing a college athete go down but im sorry, all i could think of was how sparty was screaming at Robbie Hummel about his knee. So much that even Izzo went off on his fanbase. Funny how quickly the ole "red cedar meltdown board" forgets that. But god forbid 1 of their own goes down.

You are correct, Michigan, Lions and Tigers do draw the most ratings on 97.1 and msu turns people to other stations. This bit of info is from a host I know personally on 97.1. who also said that Valenti has been told to not indulge in sparty so much because of ratings reasons but Valenti doesnt care.
Actually Dantonio shouldve said "msu got the top player in the state that couldnt get into UM and wanted to play with his teammates and buddies but could not do to bad grades so we will take him". Nice spin md.
This reminds me of a dicussion a few months back on the good ole RCMB about who they should concider their rival now that UM football is not very good. And of course they all for the most part picked Wisconsin. Funny though, my Badger friends look at msu as they do Indiana.

If Naduzzi leaves does anyone think Dumbtonio will eventually throw his hands up and say "FUCK THIS SHIT" like Saban did if a more prominent school offers him a head coaching job elsewhere? Dumbtonios losing coaches every year. After the past 2 good seasons STILL cant get more then 1 or 2 top recruits especially in this state. Back of his mind he knows everytime a DC or OC gets hired and succeeds theres a chance they will bolt to make more money cause msu cant afford them. It seemed obvious to me with the slurp fest he always gave Ohio and Tressel, he wouldve bolted if that HC job was offered. Losing Pittman to Ohio is a great example of being 2nd fiddle. And the only reason Burbridge committed to msu and not UM is cause he has an iQ of a squirrel.

Well NOBODY expect Team 132's D to be this much better & sound as last years D either. Players will step up & HOPEFULLY a few freshman can contribute immediately. I for one find it hard to doubt Hoke & co. defensive expertise in getting kids ready.

Thank God for Burke! Don't think UM survives a year ago. Its so great having another viable threat to lead the team when JR. & Co. Are having an off day. UI will be a true test this week. Hopefully the guys worked their kinks out yesterday.
The only thing Ark and OK have is their college programs. Ohio has more then just their dreadful college program with all their pro teams. PSU for the most part is the only big college program in that region stretching eastward. That's the only reasons I see Ohio ranked so low. This says a lot for the fanbase of Blue considering all the competition they have for attention with all the pro sports teams & yes that lil shit in green.
I think the allure of Dunn is more intoxcating over the fact of stealing him from ohio. Ive heard that hes all that and ive heard thats hes not. UM is pretty set at RB for atleast another year with Fitz and hopefully Rawls and Hayes will step right in next season. The addition of Drake Johnson seems to me like a RB everyone looked over due to his major involvement in track. Being a pretty big kid now and almost rushing for 3000 yards his senior season at Pioneer im sure UM will put a few more lbs on him to give him more power. I can see this kid being better then Dunn. Definetly not the end of the world if he Dunn doesnt committ to ][V][.
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasnt one of ther reasons UM went on probation when they were punished for stretching over their 20 minutes a week rule violation because they had to many trainers or so called coaches on staff as well which was a violation?? Hmm seems like ohio is running along the same lines right now.
