opinion and that is fine. My observations are about youth soccer and they pretty much just run around.
I'm basing my observations on one community of soccer and football players. and the football players have much better fluidity and coordination in their movements--ON AVERAGE. Sure you see some soccer players with this, but there are more kids who look "athletic" playing football, again, based on my observations.
My son is 12 and is playing football for the first time. He played travel soccer for the last 3 years and wanted to play football from now on.
These are my observations and opinions (this is really just a random stream of thoughts):
--soccer is great for kids to run around and get exercise and learn to be part of a team. My son's soccer team would practice next to a baseball field and the baseball kids looked soooo bored during practice and the soccer kids were having fun. I played baseball FWIW.
--out of about 200-300 kids who were in the soccer club (boys and girls), I know of one black kid and his dad is from Africa.
--About 40% of the football players are black.
--The football kids do a much better job at listening to their coaches and following directions. The soccer kids tended to goof off much more.
--There are much, much better "athletes" in football.
--The soccer kids were much more of mama's boys and were much whinier than the football kids.
“Yeah, the backs, really good. Chris Evans, Karan [Higdon] has been really good, and Ty Isaac. I mean, that guy’s so slippery it’s unbelievable. He just bobs and weaves and tough to get down to the ground. I really see good things for him.
Which RB is he talking about that so slippery etc?
a WR from Chelsea in the mid 90s named Colby Skelton who was also a very talented WR. He was named camper of the week at the UM camp and LLoyd thought he didn't have to give him a scholarship and could get him as a PWO. He went to Harvard instead and had a good career.
I'm serious. I was hoping you would just say their names instead of me having to search for it on mgoblue.com. But I guess i'm too lazy, and you are a jerkoff.
were based on genetic athletic ability, if that makes sense. So they said that if you had a kid, he should play hockey to have the best chance of making it to the NHL because they have the least amount of genetic athletic ability, whereas, NBA players have the most.
1. Leaving early out of ND stadium in Hoke's last year getting beat 30-0 or whatever it was.
2. The MSU punt return for a TD. This wasn't very low, but made me the most angry. I immediately got 30 texts from MSU fans rubbing it in and it didn't stop for 1 year. I ended decade long friendships after This play ant subsequent texts. They were relentless in their actions.
with Barwis most people are instantly in awe because he comes across as a dynamic personality, me included. I'm not saying he's the right guy or wrong guy, but anyone who's been trained by him would be the opinion to seek, not the NY fan base.
was interesting. Is there anyone still around the program from his playing days? I remember, when he was the starter for 1 game, and then Mike Hart took a handoff.
How did you become so close to your neighbors? Did you know them for many years before deciding to live near each other? Are you all very outgoing and like socializing? Are your wive's friends?
He's my best buddy. His name is Blue (surprisingly not UM related). I work from home so he literally spends almost every minute of the day nearby. The great thing about gun dogs is that when you are hunting, its really a team effort of you and the dog, I couldn't do it without him, and he couldn't do it without me.
However, its not the best dog for everyone. This dog breed needs to hunt! I had him professionally trained to hunt. I try to take him pheasant hunting several times a year. They are great family dogs, but not a breed where 1 walk around block in the am and pm is going to suffice. I spend a huge amount of time (relatively) exercising my dog everyday. I would say about 90-120 minutes per day is spent offleash and on leash. I don't like seeing this breed as a city dog/jog dog. Yes, they will jog with you, but they want to be in a grassy field pointing on birds.
