Zoltan Continues to be Awesome

So Mesko, who was born in Romania, speaks five languages and was dubbed the "most interesting man in the NFL" last year by the Wall Street Journal, wrote a new page in his personal playbook. He started day trading and reading business books.

And now, at a time when he would normally be working out with Patriots teammates at Gillette Stadium but is prohibited from doing so as part of the NFL's lockout, Mesko has put his best foot forward with a new team -- Graham Partners, a Philadephia-based private equity firm.

That is funny, we did some work with them when I was in banking.  Seems like a good group to be with.  PE jobs are pretty prestiguous.

The guy is an enigma. I remember him from Ross, not just doing well in class, but being involved in the leadership of several clubs in addition to football practice.  I'm not sure where he found the time.

This is terrible news. He's finally going to have the funds to take over as Space Emperor.

Wait, Space Emperor outranks the NCAA COI right? So either be conquered by space invaders and see OSU get smacked, or live free with OSU walking?

All hail Zoltan!

so seeing football players at mott is a lot of fun, but it generally happens when they come up as a group or as part of the griese/hutchinson/woodson weekend. one friday before a home game during zoltan's senior year, i was walking down the hallway at mott and this tall guy was walking in the opposite direction. i knew i recognized him, but of course couldn't place him until right after i passed him. it was zoltan. that's my lasting memory of him - the kind of guy who took the time (during his busiest time of year) to visit a child in the hospital, without any fanfare or recognition. class act.
